  • "The executive lunch buffet is perfect for a quick and excellent lunch."

  • "Fantastic Food. Only out shadowed slightly by slow to very-slow service. "

  • "It's the second time my boyfriend and I come to this place. Their brunch is very nice, the manager Carlos recognized us when we were in our tables and even remembered that I liked waffles so much. That was a nice touch..."

  • "While the grilled octopus was amazing, the thumping sounds of the DJ were so loud I could not finish my meal. The service was quite good."

  • "So far, so GREAT! We went for quite a late dinner (11 p.m.) an--once again, without fail, it was a great experience. From the service to the wonderfully-tasting food."

  • "My boyfriend and I saw this place on tripadvsor and decided to check it out. Well we were not disappointed, their brunch salection is huge and those waffles with Nutella were amazing, we had some meat, chicken, salmon and everything else that was there. Even Their manager Carlos came to see us and brought some more waffles when we told him we loved it. Great experience, we will be back in a couple of weeks."

  • "I went a few days ago with some friends and we loved it. They sat us in a big table and we could smell the food from the kitchen behind us. We stood up and even joked with the chef. I think his name was wilson. Amazing place, we will be back soon."

  • "We ordered from the Tapas menu for a group of five and everyone loved the food. You must get the chocolate bowl smash dessert. It was amazing and very memorable!"

  • "Everything was excellent...the food, the wine, the service. It was so good I came back again the next night!"

  • "Food is ok! Only thing that stands out is dessert. Prices way to high for food that's not very original."

  • "I was disappointed that management changed the restaurant to buffet style dining and then increased the prices. I thought that the buffet-style experience kind of cheapened our brunch. This was the second time I had brunch at Toro Toro. The first time, we ordered unlimited tapas straight from the menu and everything came out fresh to the table. The second time, we had to go pick out our brunch from three different options, a savory table (with nothing really brunch related), a bread table and a breakfast table. The food was great don't get me wrong, but for $42. There is only so much a person can eat and what I ate was certainly not worth a +$42 meal."

  • "We had a great time at Toro Toro. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the dessert "la bomba" was an experience. Must try!!!"

  • "My waiter's name was Patricio, and his assistant's name was Jefferson. The service they provided was absolutely impeccable! They are so attentive and personable. The food and the ambience were amazing!!!! We had an opportunity to speak with the manager (I didn't catch his name) however, he said they are there to please and went on to say "if you want the moon, I will get you the moon, place it on your table and take a picture of you with it." Well, needless to say, I was impressed. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the ultimate dining experience."

  • "Amazing ambiance, food and experience. One of the best meat cuts I've ever had and the truffle fries are a must! For dessert, La Bomba is literally a huge bomb! We loved our time and experience with you."

  • "Service could not have been better. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Very attentive without being overbearing. We had the the Ceviche De Leche at our server's suggestion, which was one best dishes we ate in Miami. For our entree, we had the Churrasco Skewer for Two. Huge portions - plenty for the two of us. Believe it or not, the achiote chicken was the star of the skewer. All of the meats were excellent, although the picanha steak was a bit on the tough side. We ordered medium rare, which is how it all came out, but be advised when the meat is cut and placed back on the hot skillet it will continue to cook. The steak was closer to medium well by the time we ate it. Don't miss the Yuca fries!"

  • "This was my second and last time to Toro Toro. The previous Sat my daughter and I dined here & was terrific. I decided to bring my husband for an 8:30 reservation & requested a romantic corner booth. The 3 self absorbed amateur hostesses sat us with families with babies, young children and the large loud party. They showed up with our hot plates, empanadas and flatbread--I explained that we were expecting our cold plates first ...later we got the same hot plates which sat under a heat lamp for 30 minutes and tasted like day old chewy bread. The server argued that because it's family style they bring out whatever is ready first? For small plates go to Area 31 at Epic; for Steaks -Capital Grille. It's an expensive mistake to make again."

  • "We had a blast at Toro Toro. Good food, amazing service (Isabel was fantastic) and "La Bomba" was phenomenal both visually as well as gustatorily enjoyable."

  • "The food is outstanding...every single dish was full of flavor and made to perfection. The sauces are spectacular a d to make it and overall success...freshly-brewed, great tasting coffee. The servers--all of them are professional yet very friendly (never skipped a beat)."

  • "Lunch buffet is exceptional, and a great venue for our large family gathering. Service was attentive (note gratuity is automatic above some size). Excellent ceviche, salads, sandwiches. Innovative (and full priced) cocktails. Look forward to returning. Is inside hotel lobby, so locating it for some was a challenge."

  • "I liked the food, the service and the first impression of the ambience. However, I started to change my mind when we sat and realize how close the tables are. Seriously, if you are a couple, you have a good opportunity to make new friends with the table besides you, as you will be following their conversation easily (and they'll do the same with yours). It's also a bit noisy (normal for Miami), but considering you have forced company, that becomes a little more critical. Having said that, the restaurant is good, the food and the service are fine. It's a good place! Just a little overrated."

  • "We were very happy with our decision to spend our Valentine at Toro Toro, food was excellent and outstanding service. Will be back soon with family!"

  • "Went for wife's birthday, just me and her. Placed a note in the reservation asking for a romantic table and that's what we got. Service was excellent. Patricio and the hostess took care of us. We went already kind of full from a late lunch and decided to do small plates. Ordered the octopus, short rib arepas, empanadas, and rice. Octopus and arepas were ok. Empanadas and rice were really good. Rice had a lot of meat which justifies a $14 price tag. I saw everyone ordering and enjoying the $60 steak for 2. If we weren't so full, would've ordered that because it comes with two sides. Great value and by the looks of it, great taste."

  • "Made reservations for Valentine / Anniversary dinner. That night, they had a set menu, which we didn't know about. It was wonderful but to much food for us. We explained to the Manager, he talked to the Chef and offered us a special arrangement (were not told what was it). We proceed to have an incredible dinning experience! Food was EXQUISITE, they just kept bringing plates. Our server, Orlando, was extremely helpful, friendly and very polite. Dessert actually was dropped (have to see by yourself) in our table (by the Chef) and it was marvelous. When presented the bill, we were surprised that the Manager (wish I remember his name) had taken half the amount off! Everything combined makes TT a memorable experience! Toro Toro THANK YOU!!"

  • "I visited Toro Toro for the first time the other night for my birthday. There were 8 of us and it was a great evening. The restaurant is beautiful and there was a lively crowd at the bar. We all ordered something different and the presentation of each plate was incredible and the food savory. I ordered the chicken with sweet potatoes. The chicken was quite good but the potatoes could have used more seasoning. Otherwise, all my friends enjoyed their food very much and it was the perfect place to celebrate my special day. I will go back!"

  • "The food was very flavorful. I had some type of spicy Ahi Tuna dish with mashed yucca. My husband had a Barbeque Salmon. We also had some plantains. It was all very yummy and each was cooked with perfect season and distinct flavor . The hotel is hip and has a modern look. Toro Toro was everything you look for in a nice Miami dinner... cool, chic, trendy, energetic, and romantic. Also ourwwaitress and hostess were cheerful and attentive. We had a great time and would suggest it to anyone for tapas at the bar or a nice dinner."

  • "My husband and I recently dined at Toro Toro while staying at the hotel where it is located. We really enjoy seafood and tapas style eateries. The service and food were wonderful. We had an excellent server, Robert, who made some great recommendations, such as the tuna ceviche and grilled octopus! Overall, it was a great meal and I would highly recommend!"

  • "This weekend I tried a pretty new restaurant I had been hearing a lot of lately. Toro Toro has been quit the buzz amongst my friends so I decided to give it a try. When you think of restaurant dining you don't always think of your local Hotel to find the right dining experience. I am so glad I tried it. The service was remarkable the ambiance was just my style and the food was everything my friends have been raving about. This is definitely a neighborhood gem and I will absolutely come back."

  • "Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and everything from the cocktails to small plates to our meal was amazing. Our server was extremely helpful and attentive. We stayed in the hotel (Intercontinental Miami) and found out that as a guest, when you show your room key, you get a discount of 15%. If you get drinks at the bar, you get buy one get one free drinks. Just make sure to ask your server. Overall, great food! Would go again."

  • "Everything was amazing! Food was excellent, and ambiance lovely. They offer lots of small plates, which are all delectable. The rest of the menu, including dessert, was outstanding. The service was excellent, as well (a pretty rare gem in MIami). Would greatly recommend Matej as a server. All of his suggestions were just as delicious as he described. Overall, a perfect dining experience!"

  • "Really a top notch place for lunch. Each day they try harder to make it better. Wonderful upscale buffet and now they have added (although I don't eat them) a nice assortment of desserts. Service is friendly and very attentive as is the hostess staff. They have a regular sit down and order menu too."
