A word from Topaz HomeStyle Bistro
The concept for Topaz HomeStyle Bistro is very simple & straight-forward…to blend the love of great food with the love of family & friends! The word “Topaz” means friendship, & “Bistro” signifies a place where people gather, hence the tagline “where friends gather”. Because the owners were both raised with “country” values, they feel it’s very important that the portions be generous, the wine & beer delicious, & the ambience relaxing. It is because of this desire to create a wonderful place for people to hang out that Topaz was created. No pretentiousness is allowed here!

Our approach gives our Chef’s the flexibility of creating fabulous dishes that are intended to be shared together, while at the same time giving special attention to using the freshest ingredients from local farmers in our area.

Stop in and try some of our home-cookin’, partake in a bottle of local wine or beer & enjoy some great conversation with family & friends!

Diner Reviews
  • "Staff was extremely helpful, responsive and attentive. Food was good but not exceptional. The options were varied and plentiful; in my opinion of average quality and presentation. Hubbard is a very small (but growing) town known to us because of our "roots" and family connections in the area. The idea of a bistro in the area was surprisingly unexpected. Topaz might be more accurately described as an upscale, contemporary Roadhouse; Dynamic Dinner or something in that vein. Perhaps my vision and expectations for an establishment with the monicker "bistro" in the name are unrealistic and overblown thus skewing my expectations and response."

  • "We love the new location and larger space for Topaz. The food is homemade and delicious with very generous portions! The only downside is that because of the barbecue being made in-house there is a constant haze and smoke smell. It's still very good though!"

  • "All staff were very nice, attentive and professional. I ordered the asiago shrimp pasta which was good, but could have had more oopmh in flavor, and was a little skimpy on the shrimp. My husband ordered the seafood pasta and thought it was excellent. He would have liked a bowl for his mussel shells as there was no place to put them. At these prices, I feel like they should bring out a basket of fresh bread to start, and include a vegetable with entrees."

  • "My wife was looking on open table on our way to Washington heading up I 5 from Eugene and as we passed Woodburn she found "Topaz" in Hubburd. I had seen it on a prior trip but had not tried it. We made our rez and headed back south a bit, found it, and we were amazed to find such a cool place in a little town, The food was perfect and the owner spent time with us and even introduced us to the winemaker who make a privet label for them. Worth the drive off I-5 (not far at all)."
