My daughter and I ordered the Surf and Turf and must say that we were both not happy with our meals. I managed to choke most of it down but let's say I would visit the restaurant again but not order this from the menu. My husband opted for the Filet Mignon in which he has no problem finishing. Not to forget, our appetizers were fantastic! We ordered the crab cake (DELICIOUS) and the steak which was well seasoned. If we left after the appetizers my stars would be 4 for the food.

The waiter forgot to bring our drinks, and when it came, the ice was melted. He did offer to bring us another drink if it was too watered down, but do we really need to ask? The food was delicious, but the steak I ordered to be cooked medium was close to well-done. I really didn't mind this, but maybe not for those who care about how well (or rare) they like their steak. The waiter only validated our parking for one hour, after we were there for about 2 hours, so I had to explain that to the parking attendant. The extensive menu caters for all taste buds, & the quality on the plate was just fantastic as was the excellent wine that we selected from an enormous range of fine wines available. Every staff member was courteous & helpful in every way especially our waiter Jess. To top it off, the views are just breathtaking.

Kalani's Kal Bi is excellent, meat just comes off bone and very tasty. Salmon with furukake simple and tasty. Duck confeit salad was excellent.

Food was nice, would have to say allot better than most of the places you can eat at in waikiki. Was impressed how they took note of my comment in my online reservation about it being my wife's birthday and they brought out a complimentary birthday cake and icecream. Sherry was a wonderful hostess & let us know about the kamaaina special for April! Awesome!!! We had to have the whole lobster & ribeye for $29 each. We shared the seafood paella risotto for our appetizer. All dishes were DELICIOUS! I also loved the lilikoi coconut cheesecake. We returned the next night with more friends to enjoy the great food & wonderful service. Food was very good. I had the smaller prie-fix. the only complaint i have is the fish plate tasted more like a frozen fish than fresh. Also had the duck which was very good. Portions were good sized.

Then, when we had company visiting, we decided to take them out. We should have gone much sooner! It is a wonderful restaurant, excellent food, great service and a magnificant view! Their appetizers were all great, I wasn't particularly impressed with the kalbi short rib though. Dessert was also really good and service was impeccable. It's a must to finish your vacation at waikiki. I had a wonderful and romantic "soirée" with my girlfriend.....and the view is unbelievable....on waikiki and the view on my girlfriend too.

Our server at the bar area was a bit awkward, but nice. We were much more comfortable after being seated in the real dining area with our true dinner server. Service was great - our server had some stellar recommendations. The Crab Louie and Blackened Seared Ahi were scrumptious starters. My entree was fab! I had the garlic ribeye - perfect for any meat lover! My bf enjoyed his shrimp linguine. And the Lilikoi Coconut Cheesecake was phenomenal. It was refreshingly light and bursting with flavor! I'd definitely have the cheesecake again.
