Diner Reviews
  • "Even without the view this is one of Las Vegas' best restaurants. Large selection of excellent food and professional, flawless service. The view is just the icing on the cake. We were here before for lunch and now for dinner - both times the same great food and service."

  • "First class view, service and food. It's pricy but totally worth it."

  • "Food was ok, salty but ok. Service was good, friendly, but that should be the minimum in Vegas anyway. Annoying that they do not guarantee window seats, but still leave them open and continue seat people on the inner circle of the dining area. Leaving the better window seats open. I counted 4 empty tables of 2, just on the walk while our party of 2 was guided to an inner table. Even with a window view request when we arrived. They tried to sell it as an "elevated" view inside, but in fact you do not get as much of a view. What you do get is a really good look all the people eating along the window for 80 minutes, if you can last that long."

  • "The service we received was excellent. It was a first date and I wanted to impress her. The views were awesome. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and very polite. I forgot his name but he helped break the ice between my date and myself. I remember he was going to UNLV for psychology. He suggested a wine for my date which she enjoyed. The food was excellent. If you want to impress a first date, this is the place you want to take her, or if you want a romantic dinner, this is the spot."

  • "The food was definitely not worth the prices, there are much better places to eat in Vegas for the kind of money you'll throw down on food here. Staff was vey nice but the waiter was seen few and far between. The Stratosphere on the whole is pretty run down for Vegas standards, so is this restaurant. The only thing this place has going for it is the view, but you don't really have to eat there to enjoy that. Do yourself a favor and remember that for the kind of money you'll pay to eat here, you can eat almost ANYWHERE in Vegas."

  • "This is really a great experience for locals or tourists alike. While it is a little expensive, considering that just admission to the Stratosphere is $15 or so, it suddenly seems like less of a markup and is comparable to many of the Strip properties' offerings. The food was excellent, the service was great, and while busy, it never felt overly crowded nor rushed, despite being prime viewing time."

  • "It was a great experience. I recommend. At sunrise the view is amazing."

  • "We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary by enjoying a wonderful evening at Top of the World. The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. The Ribeye Steak and Center Cut Filet were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The Twice-baked Potato and Button Mushrooms were delicious accompaniments. We enjoyed the suggested wine pairings, and ended with the Vanilla Cream Brulee. Delicious! We visited on July 4th, so the fireworks displays throughout our meal were fantastic. Overall, it was one of the best, if not the best, celebrations we've had. It was truly a remarkable experience and one we would highly recommend!"

  • "Best spot in Vegas for 4th of July fireworks. It is like you are in the middle of the explosions as Stratosphere has a show & they cascade off the roof as well. Amazing experience. Food was good but show was even better. 8pm reservation was perfect time for shows."

  • "Great food and service. The view isn't too bad, either. Was well taken care of by all the staff. Food was excellent - very good flavor. I will always recommend this restaurant. It's a 'must-do' when I come to Vegas."

  • "Once again, the Top of the World did not disappoint. This was the first time we had gone for lunch."

  • "I was charged with planning a tasteful bachelorette weekend in Vegas, but on a budget. This and a Cirque show were the two big spends for the weekend, and I'm so pleased the other bridesmaids and I agreed on lunch at Top of the World. We spent a little more than two rotations (about two hours) having lunch, coffee and dessert while taking in the views and taking great pictures. It was relaxing, delicious, and cool after the previous day's adventures on The Strip. It is a pricey, but you get a fantastic experience and some good talking time, with plenty of conversation starters from the 360 view of Las Vegas. I highly recommend it!"

  • "Dinner was nice however the service was not up to par. The waiter complained about his last table and was very slow w our service. We had to ask another waiter to order drinks since our waiter was just standing around checking his watch."

  • "I've eaten at several restaurants in Las Vegas with a view, but this one was the ultimate view from atop the Stratosphere. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees so you can see of all of old and new Vegas. The best time to go is right before dusk to get a daytime, sunset and nighttime view. The food was very good and the service was one of the best experiences I've had. When you're done with dinner, you can go up to the outside observation deck for an even better viewing experience."

  • "The food was delicious, the service was amazing--the waiter that waited on us had a great sense of humor, and most importantly the scenery was breath-taking. The atmosphere was romantic, which was perfect since we were two close couples wanting a romantic evening. We came here to celebrate the 4th of July and realized that we found the perfect place to be!"

  • "We had dinner reservations for eight and did not get in until quarter after eight. We went upstairs for drinks and when we looked down there were several open tables so we did not understand the delay in being seated. However once we were seated it was 20 minutes before someone came to our table. That lasted all night long. Our server would walk by our table and wait on the tables around us and completely ignore us. At about 20 minute intervals he would eventually come back to our table to turn on some fake charm...worried about his tip we guessed. The young man who filled our water glasses was genuine and attentive all evening. Food was average. Thank goodness for the view. So skip dinner and just go for drinks with the same view!"

  • "We were on a weekend trip celebrating our 10 year anniversary. Every employee wished us a happy anniversary and asked us about our plans for the weekend. The service was fantastic (there were 9 people in our party) and the food was amazing! I did the tasting menu with the filet - it was perfection! I highly recommend everyone visiting Vegas experience the Top of the World at least once. It was worth every penny we spent. The view was also neat to experience - we got there just as the sun was going down, so got to see the sunset and the lights come up across the city."

  • " Level 107's happy hour Martinis are "out of this world'! Half price appetizers are a great value! Top of the World should be a requirement for every visitor to Las Vegas! My friends and I ALWAYS dine AT LEAST ONCE during every visit to Las Vegas! I cannot praise this restaurant enough! It is perfection!"

  • "Our Server was very energetic and able to accomodate our schedule. We were seated late and had reservations for a show. Excelkent service. I can't give 5 stsrs because of the dleay and we had to skip dessert. But overall it was excellent"

  • "The ride up was good. Our table was ready within 15 minutes which was acceptable since many people were staying at their table to watch the fireworks on the 4th. The food service was great, the food was also greAt though it took a little longer to be ready than normal. The after dinner was the worst. We waited in the top lobby for over 20 minutes with numerous other angry people just to get an elevator to go down. An empty elevator kept opening, but they would only let employees on. None of the security or other service people had a clue what was going on. The staff of the tower seems very poorly organized or supervised."

  • "The view of metro Las Vegas were INCREDIBLE! You could see fireworks for mile! The Strasophere did fireworks and they were at eye level!! I highly recommend it!"

  • "The lobster dish had very little lobster and the filet had very little taste. Great view but not worth $200.00"

  • "This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas!!! We don't gamble and this is one of the best alternatives to tell all our friends about. Everyone should have a meal here and enjoy the ride. Worth the money."

  • "This was my second time at Top of the World. Jeff, our server, was knowledgable, attentive but not intrusive. The food was exceptional and the desserts imaginative. I strongly recommend this place for dinner."
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "The service was awesome, but what really made the experience was the rotating scenic view of the city. The food was good, though the price was a bit steep so don't go unless you're prepared to pay. I will say that a fair downside was that if the photographer takes pictures, and you choose to purchase them, be ready to empty your wallet. For the few pictures I paid for, they were more expensive than the dinner with my date."

  • "Can't help but make a reservation every time I am in town. The view is spectacular and the food is amazing. The bar upstairs serves up great drinks with the best view."

  • "Fantastic food and service. The view is spectacular. 2-3 hours just flew away. We had a greate time. Recommend especially for families."
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "The view was wonderful however, the food was not worth what we paid! It was average at best, I feel like I could cook a better steak at home. Again, you are paying for the view not the food!"
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "Get ready to rotate around Las Vegas on the top of the world overlooking the strip. Surprisingly the food was good. Usually these kinds of tourist restaurants the view is great but the food is not, in this restaurant the food was better."
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "Miss the crowds completely and come for lunch, you get the great service and awesome food but don't have to deal with the crowds that come up at night to see everything. Salad, soup and appetizers was enough to fill our bellies and send us on our way. Great to watch the people falling from the top and the roller coaster ride too."

  • "I expected our experience to be amazing but that just isn't the full truth. Until you experience the Top of the World Restaurant, you don't know what you are missing. Food was fantastic, the service was top notch and you can't beat the view. This should be on everyone's list to visit while in Vegas"

  • "All personnel wished us happy anniversary. I'd forgotten I'd even listed our anniversary on the reservation and it must have been passed to each person. It was very nice. Our server, John, was attentive, friendly and professional. The jumpers were disconcerting to my husband. I thought it was cool. Food was delicious."

  • "Had a terrific evening, food delicious with spectacular views & outstanding serious. Very glad visited and would like to return!"
    Dined on 6/30/2014
  • "The food and view was wonderful. The only complaint is that when we were leaving the elevator passed us 3 times taking people to the bottom that had ridden on the rides. If I'm paying for an expensive meal I expect priority over someone paying for an amusement ride"

  • "My wife and I were excited to eat at the Top of the World restaurant. The view from 800 ft up is amazing. The sunset was gorgeous and it was very nice to see the whole city as we slowly turned. While jumping off the top wasn't our thing, it was fun to watch others do it. The food left a lot to be desired. My wife ordered rare and I went medium with our steaks. Mine barely had any pink and hers looked grayish pink. Our waiter had the guts to say "oh yea that looks pink to me" as he whips out his key chain light to check it. After some back and forth he offered to check to see if they had a rare steak to replace it with and they did. The food was not worth the price. We've had better steaks at a chain restaurant for half the price."

  • "The view is fabulous and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend the surf and turf gnocchi! We had 6:30 reservations and were seated right away by the window. With sunset at 8pm, it was the perfect time for dinner. We had a very attentive waiter who took photos of us (meaning we didn’t have to purchase one from the restaurant). Our only complaint was that we had to wait a good 5-10 minutes on an elevator to get back to the lobby, making us almost late for a show."
