Diner Reviews
  • "You can't beat this view. The food was ok but the view made up for it. It was a special dinner for my wife's birthday and we brought our 2 teens. We sat near the window and was pleasantly surprised we got a window seat with OpenTable (and with only reservations made 1 week in advance)."

  • "I proposed here. Even of the food was lousy it would have been fantastic just for the atmosphere, but the food and service was also very good. Would highly recommend for a romantic date night."

  • "Make reservations about 30 minutes before sunset and watch the city transform from day to night."

  • "This is the perfect place for a nice romantic evening with someone special. To bad you have to run the gauntlet of the casino and shops to get to it. The food is good and expensive but you are really paying for the view."

  • "Special Occasion visit was wonderful. I was disappointed at first that our request for a window table was a 45 min wait, when I booked this reservation 3 months ahead. However the booth turned out to be perfect. Still a great view since its elevated and you actually face the view and the booth is more comfortable than the chairs, so it all worked out for the best. Great Service, did the Pre fixe four course, with wine flight and everything was great. Second visit and quality and service was exactly as the first visit a year ago. Special Occasion was acknowledged and wife presented with a wonderful chocolate dessert. Will be back next year."

  • "Fabulous view and unique dining experience if you have never been to the Space Needle in Seattle. Good service, but food quality does not justify the exorbitant prices."

  • "We love Top of the World and keep on returning every time we come to Vegas. It is a guarantee that the food will be amazing, the service will be great and the views spectacular. You will not be disappointed, we love it here! The pork belly is a must!"

  • "We never go to Vegas without eating here. It's never less that wonderful. Obviously the view was amazing but really the food is out of this world. I was contemplating several very expensive bottles of wine and ask the sommelier to help me he actually down sold me to a cheaper bottle that was delightful. I highly recommend the potatoes au gratin as your side dish. Don't come to Vegas without eating here!"

  • "Food was not good at all if you consider the price you pay. Wagu beef was not tender and tasteless Fish tasted bland . Service was ok. The view is super but you get the same view for less money in the high roller."

  • "Top is a great spot for drinks and dinner overlooking Las Vegas. Pricey, but the food was very good. The people trying the bunge jumping on the top was worth watching."

  • "We have lived in Las Vegas for almost 20 years and have been coming to this restaurant ever since. For every special occasion or when we have guests visiting from out of town, we have always taken them here. And we have NEVER been disappointed! It's amazing cause many other restaurants we have frequented over the years have gone down hill in customer service or quality of food or both. But not Top of the World! They seem to hire an amazing staff of people that are friendly and really know the meaning of customer service. Some would say it's a bit pricey, but with the spectacular view and the always amazing food, it is well worth the money! Try it.... you won't be disappointed!"

  • "If you're looking for a spectacular view this is the place. For the price food if mediocre. If you come to the restsrant I would recommend the lounge for happy hour. Food just was not up to par with a fine dining establishment."

  • "Tacky hotel , neighborhood sketchy but some how that feeling is carried inside. Service was just ok, trying to be uptown with downtown people skills . Main dish was very good but plate/sauces had competing ideas and seemed unfocused. Portion size of accompanying vegetables was so small( two small baby carrots and a teaspoon of spaghetti squash) the plate looked silly especially because the the main portion( crablegs) was generous. The prices say 'dressup' but everything else about the place says 'don't bother'. The walk from the hotel entrance to the restaurant elevator is surreal, and that's saying something in Las Vegas."

  • "We went to see the place where the movie Domino was shot because in the movie it looked spectacular! But once there everything was disappointing....complicated to go up to the restaurant and once up, yes the view is incredible but the restaurant itself has no charm nor class.... Zero decoration, confused staff and food that was expensive but not special and quite greasy.... This could have been a fantastic place with some nice and special decoration, good chef with some specialties and good staff! Yes, the view is spectacular but not worth this pricy dinner!!"

  • "Excellent food, excellent location with an unbeatable view. Menu is served a bit hastly, with a bit too short time between the courses. Other than that, an excellent location and well worth a visit."

  • "Top of the World is a place where one receives outstanding food and service accompanied by a view that is spectacular. What I believe I enjoyed even more than the view and the food was being served by the 2 Mr. Rights. Mr John and Mr. Rait were attentive but not smothering. We never felt rushed or ignored, but pampered in a professional and non-stuffy way. The shrimp and lobster cocktail is delicious and the lemon cheesecake melts in your mouth. The salads and main entrees were top notch. A wonderful restaurant on top of the world- with a staff who is out of this world. Thank you all!"

  • "this was my first time to Top of the World and I must say it was well worth it. We went for lunch on a Saturday and the menu selections were excellent. The petite-filet was perfect and so was the desert trio. I highly recommend this restaurant, the view was spectacular."

  • "Five star view but service for such a spot not up to par. We had the lunch special. Good but not exceptional. The only exceptional part is ambience I.e. 360 degree view I would definitely recommend the restaurant but caution about what to expect apart from view"

  • "The best thing about being at this restaurant is the view of Las Vegas. The food was nice, though we only did an appetizer and desert. Otherwise, it was an average experience. We obviously paid for the view."

  • "This was probably the best meal I have ever had. I am still raving about it. The service was impeccable. The view was breathtaking. If you eat at no other restaurant in vegas this should be the one."

  • "We booked our reservation online, arrived over half an hour early, then waited almost an hour PAST our reservation time. It seemed we got a table only by being nuisances in the waiting area - we became thoroughly bored with the observation area, so we stood around and watched as other people showed up WITHOUT RESERVATIONS and got seated immediately. By the time we got our table, the view was wasted since we'd already seen it for almost two hours. Service was excellent, food just okay. Better steaks for much lower prices at other restaurants. Not worth the time or the money."

  • "There were 6 of us celebrating a birthday and I got the feeling the others weren't overly keen to go. That all changed the moment they walked into the restaurant. Fabulous views, arrived for 7 so able to experience both dusk and nighttime views. Food was delicious, from the Salads to the Lamb, Steaks and Seafood pasta. Great wine list, brilliant service. I would just ask for the music to be turned down slightly. Make a reservation, take your camera and enjoy!"

  • "Good group meal. The portions are a good size & portions of fries are huge! Fabulous views & well worth a visit. My only negative, is that i am vegetarian & the choice for vege's is particually poor, with my main course being very bland. Everyone elses food was nice though."

  • "I love revolving restaurants. Unfortunately most of them have mediocre food. The Top of the World is a notable exception. The food was outstanding. The sunset and night time views are impressive and watching the "crazies" fly by your window as they do a thrill jump off the top brings its own rush. The meal is timed so that you do at least one revolution and get an entire panorama of Vegas. A bit pricey but worth it for that special meal in Vegas. Highly recommended."

  • "I chose this restaurant for our anniversary. Although my wife is petrified of heights she was able to relax after her initial fear and we settled in for a great meal. A professional photographer came by to capture the evening. Nothing came without a substantial price tag but we felt the unique location worth the cost. We arrived at 5:30pm and we're able to watch the Vegas Strip light up as it grew dark. Great food, very good service and a unique venue! We're glad we chose this spot."

  • "We went here on a Monday night. It wasn't crowded at all. The waiter we had we very nice. I ordered a steak that was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the lobster gnocci. He said it was excellent. The view was beautiful."

  • "Hubby took me to Vegas to celebrate my 30th birthday. He made reservations at the restaurant to spend a nice evening together and enjoy some amazing food. The experience was simply amazing! The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great. It's quiet and the view is amazing. Well worth the money! A must visit for those looking for a nice evening away from all of the hustle and bustle of Vegas. Will definitely do this again!"

  • "We dined at Top of the World for lunch during our spring trip to Las Vegas. This was our second visit, the first being a dinner to celebrate our 20th anniversary 6 years ago. The view of Las Vegas from this revolving restaurant can't be beat, day or night. The excellent food is a bonus! If you plan to travel to the top of the tower without dining at Top of the World, you will have to pay anyway, so you might as well make a reservation at Top of the World and dine. Our lunch was simple, but beautifully served and delicious!"
