Top of the World Restaurant - Stratosphere HotelGreat ExperienceWe went to Top of the World to celebrate our 5th anniversary. They did a great job of taking care of us while still allowing us to have a romantic dinner. Our reservations were for 6:30, only thing I would have done differently is making them for 7:00 - 7:30, we had a wonderful view of the city and the strip, but a little later would have allowed is to see the sunset as well as seeing everything lit up at night.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMNice anniversary dinnerService was impeccable. Sun got in my eyes for a few minutes as it went down but it didn't last long. We got the four course tasting menu and it was pretty good. I have a few critiques though. The fish was a little underdone in the center and overall the portions were a bit too large for so many courses. My wife likes her steak medium well and often has difficulty getting it done as requested. Her steak was perfect! Staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We ordered one Caesar Salad with the intention of sharing. Without asking, they did a split plate for us. We appreciated that. Restaurant rotates 360 degrees in 1 hour and 20 minutes. The food is very good and the service is excellent. The view from the "Top of the World" cannot be "topped", the 360 degrees provides views of Vegas that are absolutely stunning, dinner at 7:00 gave us stunning views of the Vegas horizon during sunlight hours, sunset and then Vegas at night. The view was incrediable!! It take an hour for the restraunt to turn the full 360 dregrees, and that about the time for a small dinner with no appitizer and a dessert. The restaurant is at the top of the Stratosphere and rotates slowly as you eat, so that the Las Vegas skyline is your dinner entertainment. The only thing that could have improved this restaurant would have been some beautiful music--maybe a pianist or a string ensemble.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AM6th Anniversary FindMy wife and I went to Top of the World at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas for our 6th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the experience. By far, the best feature is the view! The entire restaurant rotates so that you get a view of the whole city as you dine (takes about 1hr-20mins). The food was delicious; however, we only ordered appetizers as the menu was quite pricey. The wait staff was really friendly too. Also, make sure you dress nice...a little nicer than business casual to formal would be appropriate. Finally, if you're planning on walking to the Stratosphere, just know that it's about a 35 min walk from the northernmost hotels on the strip (i.e. Treasure Island), so wear some comfortable shoes :.).6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGood steaks in special placeWe were a party of seven. The only thing which could be improved on is the reception desk which is located in the lift lobby!!
I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and really took care of us. Views are spectacular - try to go at sunset then you get to see them in daylight and the spectacular lights at night. I brought my own Robert Mondavi 2006 Reserve Cabernet Savignon and was greeted well by both the waiter, Bon and the Somallier. The waiter was very p0ersonable and gave us tips to the city, golf courses, and shared his love of Napa/N. CA which was where we were from. The 4 course fixed price meal was well worth the price. It as fabulous and we could barely get through the final course of Filet Mignon. This was my second visit to the restaurant and the second time having the four course meal..
