Great location for a scenic brunch. Food left something to be desired, but was decent, kind of pricey for the quality. The service was very warm and attendant. No other location has the amazing view, making it such a different experience. The place is closing, so unless someone buys it and renovates the facility, you won't be able to see it. I hope someone does because it is such a special place. If some resources are put into renovating this building and putting some attention into the food, it could really be fantastic.

Took my lady to the restaurant for the experience. She had never been. And though we had a very good evening together, I found the experience to fall short of previous ones. I ordered a ribeye medium well and it came back charred and the potatoes tasted as if they had been sitting for quite some time. The rolls came to the table late and were luke warm at best. The place seemed understaffed as visits from our server were few and far between. However, when she was there, she was very pleasant. The restaurant and hotel will be closing soon and I left feeling that the service reflected just that. Still, the scenic value was incredible and I'm really going to miss the only rotating restaurant in our city.

The food was not hot....the waiter wasn't very attentive, but when he was available he kept making the comments about "the dark side"???. We had to ask for bread, we had to inquire about the dessert, otherwise we wouldn't have known there was dessert. There were three in our party and we all ordered the exact same thing. One plate came out with a noticably smaller amout of shrimp than the other two. This was my first time dining there and I made it a point to dine there because it was a part of St Louis I'd never experienced. The experience could have been much better even if they were closing.

Server was very short with us when asked what was in a sauce he said well its just a sauce I don't like it so you wont. Food was cold and my steak was like cardboard my wife steak was great the potatoes would not even melt butter when added to them my steak had the sauce left off of it and was brought cold lumpy sauce. The dessert was absolutely wonderful however

Let me begin by saying that I have only went here one other time. Our first time was much better because we happened to go earlier. We had this great waitress who was very interested in our anniversary and every need. She explained the menu very extensively. Which wine goes well with which food, sauces best for steak. It was amazing, even to the point if a free piece of cake for our anniversary. But when we went back this year we took her parents since it was closing and close to her moms birthday. We were sadly not impressed. Our waiter was. Very rude and did not talk about the building, the sights, the menu, or anything in that manner. After forgetting a tea, he acted like it was a big deal for him to have to take it off the bill. RUDE

It was sad to dine for the last time at the Millennium. :( I have been going there since I was a very young girl. I took my 90 year old mother for the last time - shared many memories with her and my husband, 2 grand children, my Sister and Brother. We all hope that Mayor Slay can pull some strings and help find a buyer for the Hotel and Restaurant.

My lamb dish was superb and my brothers fish was excellent but other members of my party were not that overwhelmed with their steaks. The mixed greens salad was very good, but the grilled romaine salad was way too spicy and and our waiter had no idea what it really was. In fact his knowledge of the menu was terrible and we had to ask for water on 2 different occasions. He just did not pay attention to our table even though we were a party of five and he was going to get a good tip. The view at night is great but the servers had already checked out, due to the fact that the place is closing. I am glad we went for old time's sake, it was fun just for that!

The view at night was magnificent. Our server was nice and friendly; we liked her. However, we had to remind her a few times to get our drinks. There were times she was gone and we couldn't order drinks for a while (15-20 minutes wait). So we ended up order 2 beers at a time as we don’t know when she will come back to take our order. We got our bread after 30 minutes of sitting down and no offer to refill our breadbasket. There were 6 of us and there were a total of 6 pieces of bread for 6 of us. We waited for about 1+ hr for food. So it would’ve been nice if the breadbasket was replenished.

We went for our anniversary as we'd never been and it's closing. It was fine. Because it was closing the wine cellar was unstick end and our server had clearly checked out. The views are spectacular and the ambiance is really the reason to go. We loved our appetizer (a taco of some sort). My chicken dish was stuffed with rabbit and served over pasta. It was okay but unimaginative. My partners pork chops were well done at the suggestion of our server. Ew. But he made his bed. I'm sure 20 years ago this would have been a wonderful experience. Shortly before closing, I'm glad we got to see the death gasp of an institution.

The unique revolving restaurant that is Top of the Riverfront, associated with the Millennium Hotel, is scheduled to close in January. Some local investor with vision and restaurant experience needs to acquire this property and keep it open, despite the hotel's issues. The view and unique architecture and revolving aspect of the facility are unmatched in the area. The food and service, especially at the Sunday brunch, are still outstanding, and the view never gets old. Charles, our waiter, was simply outstanding with just the right combination of enthusiasm and elegance. Visit sometime before late January to beat the (hopefully temporary) shutdown!

We recently ate @The Top of the Riverfront at the Millienium Hotel in St. Louis, Mo. for the last time. Sadly, the hotel/restaurant is closing on 01/22/2014. It was my favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The 360' view is amazing!! To start dinner looking out at the Arch and end with dessert back at the Arch, is a wonderful experience. However, our last experience there on Dec 15th, led a lot to be desired. It 's very obvious that the Hotel & staff have already checked out. There were no Christmas decorations & our waiter was very bitter about the closing, understandably, but after an hour it got a little old. The food was okay, not great as in the past. They did not have any steak sauce in the building. Glad we didn't go any later.

We had a party of 6 for Sunday Brunch. We were in the first seating at 10:00 am. We found that all of our food from the buffet was cold. Not the norm, as we have been there before for Brunch (last time 4 months ago). The hotel (and restaurant) have just announced they are closing (for renovations?) and staff morale is very low. The revolving view is fabulous as always.

This was our first time at Top of the Riverfront. We wanted a classier dining experience with quiet ambience and a good view. We were not disappointed on any account. While some of the diners were dressed rather casually, there was still an air of sophisication given by the wait staff. Our waiter was always there when needed and kept the drinks flowing yet stayed out of our way and let us enjoy the experience. Our food was quite good although I would question whether my filet was truly a filet cut. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and our dining experience. We will definitely return to Top of the Riverfront on our next visit.

Our service was great, the ambience was good even though one or two lights were burnt out. Filet mignonette and chef's potatoes were delicious. I love the ambiance of this place - a top tier restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri. I would definitely return, but only for special occasions as the menu is limited and expensive. The view is beyond breathtaking, especially at night with the city lights to dazzle. I would recommend group of four people or smaller to keep with the romantic feel. Our server wasn't top of the line, she wasn't very attentive to us, but the manager and other staff members were there whenever we needed a refill, more rolls, or to just ask how the meal was. Recommendations: Fresh Berry Margarita and the New York Strip Stake.

Absolutely perfect night, dinner was beyond amazing the staff and chef were phenomenal. This was the first stop on a special night for me and my love as i proposed the night we dined here. The staff was accommodating with the video crew and on a side note we always ask the waiter or waitress to give the chef a "hug" for us if the dishes were amazing we asked the waiter too and the chef came out and talked with us some. May seem like nothing special but this has never happened before and it was a pleasant experiencing all the way around. Great view, Amazing atmosphere defiantly recommend
