A word from Top of the Hub
Top of the Hub only accepts reservations in the dining room for lunch, brunch, and a full dinner for parties up to 10 people. Reservations for just dessert or drinks will not be honored. We do not accept reservations for the bar or the lounge area. While we appreciate requests for window seating, we cannot guarantee them. However, we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Please also note we serve only Brunch on Sundays until 2 p.m.

  • "We went to lunch at the Top of the Hub for my son's 21st birthday. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was delicious. The drinks were great with no skimping on the alcohol. Lunch prices were a little high but well worth the view of Boston. We plan to return in the summer to enjoy the ambiance and food again."

  • "We arrived via shaky elevator unto this spectacular view of a most impressive wine room, we were seated immediately onto a table by the window. The view we had was nothing by amazing, we could see all the lights Boston and then some. The service was amazing, the waiters were very attentive and very knowledgeable with regards to wines and the food. We ordered the pre defined banquet and the new york strip - of which both were very good. This restaurant as you would expect is on the very pricey side but if you take the banquet you come away extremely satisfied. I'd definitely go again."

  • "I took my wife here for our anniversary and it was very nice and the food and staff were great. However, when I made my reservation I informed the restaurant it was my anniversary and if possible could we have a window. I was told that they cannot make reservations for a window but they will do what they could to get me one. When we arrived we were not given a window which was fine except for the fact that it was a Tuesday and they were not that busy. The whole time we were there, four or five window tables were consistently vacant and the restaurant still refused to move us."

  • "We booked a 6:00 reservation for our daughter's 21st birthday. The entire experience was phenomenal. We were promptly greeted at our reservation time and were given our requested table at the window. All of the staff was accommodating without being instrusive. We were allowed to linger over all the dinner courses, while enjoying daylight, sunset and nighttime views. Our waiter even brought a a birthday dessert. The food and drink were both excellent. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and it was the best mohito I ever had! It was a perfect special 21st bday celebration!"

  • "I'd recommend it for a drink and the scenic view. If you are staying for dinner definitely worth the wait for a window seat. Although the appetizers were tasty (Beet salad and the tartare of yellowfin tuna) we were not impressed with our main course - the braised short ribs. A bit pricey for the quality of food but I guess you are really paying for the view! If I go back I would skip the main course and have a couple of appetizers, drinks and enjoy the view!"

It is amazing to see Fenway Park to planes landing at Logan Airport while enjoying a nice meal on white linen table cloths. The food was good, not fabulous, but it was well worth lunch prices. It is a nice place to go for a special occasion or for a unique dining experience. The view of Boston is something that can't be beat."

  • "I really love this place for the view and atmosphere. I've religiously come to this place at least once a year for the past 10 or so years. Its a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions as the views and atmosphere are excellent. They even have a live jazz band later at night. On the other hand, the food is just ok. I've never been "wowed" here. The last time we went the food lacked salt. It seems like there is always something small that is not perfect with the food which keeps letting me down. I would probably come back more often if that changed. Otherwise, its still a fantastic place that will leave great memories of everything else in your mind."

Back then the food was adequate but the selling point was the view looking out over the great city of Boston from the 52nd story of the Prudential building. Today's Top of the Hub provides a menu that fits it's view. Both the food and the view are appealing to they eye and awesome in its elegance. The service also is lofty in its excellence."

  • "My boyfriend and I had a great meal at the top of the hub. We were seated next to the window and of course we had a nice view of Boston. The service was excellent. Our Italian waiter was very attentive and answered all of our questions. We had bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer. For our entrees, my boyfriend had veal and I had the lamb shank, which the waiter recommended. The entree was delicious and the portions were large. I even had to take some home. The prices of food and drinks are high, but it is worth it!"

The food was very good. Overall the evening was very good the only thing that would have made it better for our experience is we didn't get a window seat so there were two tables between us and the view. Next time I will request a table seat and it will only enhance an already great evening."

  • "Came here for lunch during restaurant week. We were lucky to get the last open table reservation, and it was definitely worth it. The view alone is beautiful, you can see planes taking off from the airport and a nice view of the city and ocean. The food was delicious. Deviled eggs were nothing special but the salmon with potatoes and brussel sprouts was incredible. Best brussel sprouts I've ever had! Some friends got the filet mignon with tater tots that they were very happy with as well. Creme brulee and chocolate mousse were hits all around. Would definitely come back!"

  • "I always enjoyed this place for the stunning views and life music. The restaurant experience, unfortunately, does not match up. While service was excellent, the food was disappointing. We came during restaurant week but ordered from the regular menu. The scallop in a wrap app was dry and overcooked; two average size dry pieces for $17 was a true joke. Then I was recommended Native Seafood Cioppino - the pasta portion was huge, heavy on a strong tomato (canned?) sauce with 5 pieces of overcooked seafood, which is quite unusual for a high-end restaurant. I left most of the food untouched. My partner had a seared tuna, which was much better but still nothing to write about. Very conflicting experience."

  • "I enjoyed the ambience and the service at Top of the Hub. The wait staff was lovely, and sitting at the bar while we waiting for a table was great. The cocktails were delicious. However, I was disappointed with the food. Especially because, you would think for a restaurant week menu, they would be serving some of their best dishes. The Roasted Tomato & Black Bean Soup was delicious. The steak was meh. I ordered the creme brulee for dessert, one of my favorites, and it looked lovely, but the surface was completely soft and mushy. One of my favorite parts of creme brulee is the hard surface (and cracking it) - it was soft and the same texture as the custard. I would not go back again to eat - but I would go for a drink!"
