Pricy for what you get. The highest marks go to the smoked prime rib. Near miss from the bar. Ordered a specific scotch tall with a twist. Came in a tall unique glass. Perfectly missed -- but forgot the twist. When the waitress brought the "twist" it was not a twist but a hunk of lemon rind with a big blemish. Took away from the otherwise perfectly mixed and presented cocktail. Note: I didn't order a second. Once again, we noted a mostly empty restaurant when dining here. Maybe there is a reason.

Tony Roma has reinvented itself as a cool, hip, up to date restaurant. The decor and ambiance has completely change to reflect a more modern and contemporary look that separates it from other similar restaurants. The service has improved dramatically as everyone is extrely friendly and professional. And the menu is outstanding with fresh and original menu options. I give it a 10 out of 10 for this type of restaurant.

Some very original dishes including an excellent skillet cornbread and an unusual veggie pot pie with portabellas and asparagus. Our service was outstanding - waiter was very knowledgeable about menu and about the history of Tony Roma's. A great experience at a chain restaurant!

The food was great. They get a lot of there food locally. They had a good craft beer selection. The ribs are bigger than they used to be. the service was fantastic. Ally is amazing. She kept checking on us and made some get recommendations. The new menu really is fantastic.

If you haven't been to Tony Roma's in a while, you should give them a try. Way better than what I think of as comparables (Applebees / TGI Fridays). Is more upscale appearing than those (but prices are about the same), and the food quality is better. Think they really did a great job with the remodel...

We chose to go to Tony Roma's on Lee Vista because my husband remembered the atmosphere made it ideal to meet with people. We met out of town friends on 5/11. We thought it would be a great place to visit with them while having lunch together. Everyone enjoyed their food. The service was excellent. Jarelis (3037) did a great job and was warm & personable. The service was a little slow, but it was Mother's Day and the place was packed. When we arrived, we noticed the new decor. It was very attractive, however, the noise level was so high, we had to lean forward and speak loudly to be heard by each other and we were only a party of 5 sitting close together. I won't be back unless I find a less crowded time so it won't be so loud.

While traveling on business, the close proximity to my hotel caused me to try this "chain" restaurant for the first time. WOW - what a pleasant surprise! Very friendly greeting on arrival and a genuinely warm welcome. Instead of bread, the server brought hot salted almonds, and things really started to look up. Highly varied menu, excellent food, a good wine list, attentive service, moderate prices - what more do you want?

We were very disappointed with the changes. We miss the "old" Tony Roma's. The menu hardly had anything on it. All the entrees we loved were dropped and the food quality is not as good. The ribs were bad and the steak was not as tender. Unfortunatey, this was our last visit. We will not be back

Tried the new Tony Roma's for a second time. Stay away from the bar seating when they have live entertainment. No one knows where the volume control is. Food was good, menu is interesting but hit or miss with delivery.

  • Had A GREAT Evening

We spent a nice long evening catching up with old friend and the server was completely understanding that we wanted to take our time and linger even though we didn't have any big drinkers with us. All of the entre's were GREAT, as was the appetizer. No one seemed impressed with the side dishes though, expecially not the grits (and yes, we normally love grits). I personnally recommend the Bone-in Pork Chop: tender and juicy with a nicely seasoned apple chutney sort of topping. The bacon wrapped sausage and stuffed pepper appetizer was also a real hit.,,we almost ordered another one for "dessert". The coffee came with brown sugar cubes on the side which was a nice touch.

  • Sooooooooo DISAPPOINTED

Despite confirming a reservation, the hostess and management at this location chose to seat guests who had been waitlisted prior to our arrival. I'm not sure what this restaurant's definition of waitlist is, but I expect that it is for people with NO reservation that are worked in to available tables AFTER the reservations are seated. 30 minutes past our reservation time, we opted for two seats at the bar and ordered dinner. The rack of baby back ribs (which is this chain's signature food item) were quickly served to us at ROOM TEMPERATURE. Nooooooo! I cannot believe the management, their policies, or the food quality are representative of this entire chain. Don't visit the Orlando - Lee Vista store, near the International Airport!!

The noise level is beyond acceptable. One has to literally shout to be heard by your dining partner. Some acoustic hall modifications might help. If this is addrressed then the overall rating should be excellent.

Tony Romas on Semoran has undergone a remodel. We had ribs, which were good and quite meaty. The best thing of all, however, was the Ghostly Old Fashions. They were wonderful! Quite tasty and worth a trip back. We don't have many nice restaurants in South Orlando, so I think Tony Romas is headed in the right direction.

disappointed in the service person. A little over the top and fakey in his sincerity. Ribs were so-so and had too much sauce on them which always should be added later by the eater to suit one's taste.

Was not impressed. They had very little on the menu and everything was more southern style, (spicy). A lot of weird items on the menu or a lot of weird side dishes it came with. Not impressed at all and will not be returning. The service was good and the server was very nice but I was expecting something different.

The last three times we have eaten there we found the many improvements to the facility to be attractive. The food, however, is more expensive. The a la cart salad and bread is at least $10 more and the sides are awful. The ribs are fantastic but we would like to see more choices and more inclusions. We love the almonds!

Had a party of 10 for lunch. We sat up at the bar in a long table that fit us all and was ready for us too, no waiting. The menu is all new and the food was amazing. Not only that, but we had appetizers, entrees and deserts and were out in an hour. It was a celebration business lunch and the timing and food was phenomenal. For appetizers we had the box of onions, kickin shrimp, pretzel braid with beer cheese fondue and the charred onion dip with housemade chips. For entrées my team had the fillet medallions the American Burger the prime rib sandwich the kale & pork soup and the Cobb salad. For desert I ordered the cheesecake with fresh berries the pretzel bread pudding the red velvet cake and a large chocolate mayhem. We loved the new TR.
