I was impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation. I tried their home-made pasta which was excellent. I also ordered the Mahi-Mahi which was perfectly prepared. I am very particular about picking places to dine especially in a city that is unfamiliar. I picked this after reading reviews online and having a look at the menu. This exceeded our expectations and we were still talking about how much we enjoyed it several days later. Our waiter was great - he was charming, engaging and was there any time we needed him but otherwise left us to our conversation and never rushed us. He even snapped a few pictures of our little group before we left. The pasta trio was out of this world. As was the Risotto with hazelnuts and the side of Italian sausage. The beet salad was perfect - nice, rich and light. The owners were very attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter was terrific. The soft jazz provided by two wonderful musicians complimented our dining experience perfectly. The server was attentive. We both had the beet salad which was tasty, although there could have been some more beets and avocado in it. The two entrees were served hot and were delicious; one was the short ribs which were boneless, the other was a moist shrimp risotto. The bread was served hot and accompanied with a saucer of dipping balsamic with olive oil which we made more tasty with some parmesan cheese.
