We were seated in a small booth in the bar area with a sectional wall we could just about look over into the main dining area. Noise was abit of a factor, there didn't really seem to be anything to absorb the sounds from the main dining area and we had to speak up to hear each other across the table. Service was excellent, Charles took good care of us from ice water while we were deciding on a bottle of wine to keeping our bread basket filled during the meal and special requests for steak sauce and such from my date. The service is always personalized and fantastic, plus the food is excellent! The portion sizes are very generous so there is always an opportunity to bring home leftovers. It was the first time we ate at a tommy Bahamas restaurant. I love their retail store and had some reservations about eating at their restaurant... But we were happily surprised. Great live music set the mood to the relaxing decor. Food was good and I was surprised to find that their poke was as good as what I get in Hawaii. The mixed drinks were delicious and strong. But we were going to The Improv and looking for something in the mall. Great food. Very fresh.The seared ahi was amazing and seared perfectly. Our waitress, Jessica, was professional yet accessible, and gave us very good menu recommendations. Nice wines on the menu, but quite overpriced. But they did have Darioush, which is rare to find in a restaurant and a favorite! Overall, loved the food, so did my girlfriend, and the experience. The coconut shrimp is to die for and is served with a spicy cole slaw which is also among my favorites. The food was outstanding - even my tuna which I ordered medium well. Our server never hesitated when I asked for that preparation and assured me that the fish would be fine. The children in our group enjoyed their meals and the spectacular desserts. The only glitch occurred when a birthday request was forgotten. HOWEVER I received a call from a manager regarding the oversight and a promise of free appetizers on our next visit. Food and drinks were delicious and fantastic as always, as we have dined at other Tommy Bahama restaurant locations. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and my partner he had their ribs which were fall off the bone. If you like creme brulee then you must try their pineapple one for dessert - it is served in a pineapple that is cut to the size of a bowl and baked - really enjoyed that one.
