Tommy Bahama's Island Grille - Newport BeachVery enjoyableFrom the Hostess to the Servers and the Waiters everyone was friendly, professional and efficient. I told the Hostess we had Reservations and the rest of our party hadn’t arrived; she checked and made a point of offering us a table, a seat in the Bar or asked if wanted to peruse the Retail Store. After ogling over the merchandise in the Store we sat at the Bar with a cocktail and a friendly greeting from the Bar Staff. The wait Staff attended to us and anticipated the timing of the approach correctly, Devin and rest of the serving staff were especially efficient. Each person (including the floor manager) did their best to make our evening at Tommy Bahama’s memorable.

All was delicious. Waiter recommended Ahi salad as his favorite and we were pleased with his suggestion. Lobster grilled cheese was good but could have used a little more lobster ;o). Got a glass of sangria and could have easily drank an entire pitcher. Very kid friendly and accommodating for all the ages of our family including little ones- 2 in high chairs and 1 six year old plus 6 adults. Neil our server was very cheerful and radiated hospitality in the old fashion way. All liked the variety of food options. Everyone enjoyed these culinary delights. We have had many special occasion celebrations at Tommy Bahama's and find their casual but very classic tempo outstanding for making memorable moments to cherish! Definitely worth a repeat performance.

At the evening, I hosted a 200 guests private event at their PCH room plus the back patio. The appetizers were amazing and the Mojitos were yummy and had a very Successful event plus a private dinner for 21 after the Event.

He was a happy camper! The filet mignon was absolutely tender and grilled to perfection (black and bleu for me). I'm not a huge fan of filet mignon (ribeye being my favorite cut) and hadn't had a filet mignon in about 15 years, this has to be the best filet mignon I've ever had. I also their brussels sprouts for the mashed potatoes. I love their brussels sprouts! Don't forget to leave room for the Pina Colada Cake. Seared Ahi Tuna & Kale Salad was refreshing and delicious! The tuna was perfectly seared and the kale was flavorful and vibrant. Creekstone Farms Filet Mignon came with a red wine demi-glace and grilled to a perfect medium rare. The meat was tender and juicy. Wagyu New York Steak & Jumbo Prawns (second time ordering it and cooked to perfection this time) was perfectly cooked to very rare with soft, tender mouth feel and wonderful beefy flavor. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, sweet with a tender snap to them. Roasted brussels sprouts were great with flavors from bacon, caramelized onion, and jalapenos to take them up a notch. Our server seems preoccupied with something else. She left before taking all of our orders for appetizers. My mom ate hers (asked for medium-rare and came out medium). My mom was happy with the flavor and decided to keep hers. I like my steaks rare (black and blue) and mine was medium-rare to medium. I had to send it back. The second steak was cooked perfectly just how I like it.
