This was the best food we had during a week in Santa Fe. And in fact, we went back for more on our last night in town. Fried chicken was excellent; steak frites and duck likewise. Shrimp & grits = best I've ever had. Appetizers (chicken liver pate, Tete de porc) also great. And the caramel pot de creme was a perfect dessert. Small but well chosen wine list and attentive, friendly service. What more could anybody want?

Tomme has a very limited menu, and we were upset to find that they were out of many selections. We had already ordered a bottle of white wine before we were informed that they were out of the fish of the day and the cheese platter. If we had known, we would have ordered red wine. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced, but we only had a choice of 5 or 6 entrees, highly unusual for a town like Santa Fe.
