A word from Tomato Pie of Morristown
Tomato Pie is located in the heart of Morristown right near the Green. We offer classic Italian fare and the highest quality old world Tomato Pie pizza originating from the Island of Sicily. We feature the highest quality tomatoes on our pizza to compliment the delicious cheese and thin crisp crust, that certainly separates us from the competition. In addition to our amazing pizza, we offer desserts that are all made in house from scratch. For the kids entertainment, you cannot go wrong with our tableside campfire s'mores. With great service and outstanding food, a Tomato Pie dining experience is a must. We look forward to serving you with our passion for Italian food and hospitality.

Very good food. Will have to try their pizza next time. Seating is a little too close together for our taste. Service was a little lacking. Great location. Reasonable prices.

Good food - only drawback was server delivered the check before we were finished with our entrees. I guess he felt we weren't going to order dessert, so we didn't.

Had my doubts that the menu was going be pizza heavy. But needed something near the MPAC as we had a show right after dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by both the portions and the dishes themselves. The rice ball appetizer was excellent and so were the pork medalions (believe they were asparagus crusted). Was not impressed with the mozzarella in the caprise salad - but I'm a bit of cheese head. We were seated near the kitchen which got a bit warm at times and little noisy but it turned out to be great overall. Would de recommend / go back again.

  • They have good thin crust

They have good thin crust pizza here. The tomato sauce is tasty and the fresh mozzarella was good too. The crust is thin and not spongy, it gives the rim a firm consistency but the center is soft. We also had the mixed greens salad, which was fresh, and some of their bred with was very good. Our waitress was very nice. The place was quiet but we were there almost before closing and it was almost empty. Our waitress told us it was packed not long before we got there so we do not know how loud this can get. The ambiance is that of a basic pizza restaurant.

Tomato Pie is an excellent pizza place with unique choices and classically delicious pizza all in one. The penne vodka pizza is to die for! The restaurant is on the main drag of downtown Morristown making it the perfect stop during a day of shopping.

Although the food seemed fresh, it was just plain old bland. It tasted like upscale hospital food - edible and fresh, but without much taste. Use an herb or two, guys!

Went for Mothers Day and really enjoyed the meal. Started with a Grandma's pie and rice balls for starters and then the sicilian tuna. Wife had a pasta dish with shrimp and the kids had spaghetti and meatballs. Overall, great service and an excellent meal at a reasonable price, capped off by BYOB.
