Veal and Chicken dishes are a
specialty and there are no bad dishes in this category. Try them all. Also, another specialty is the martinis, done with special attention to presentation."

We had a very attentive waiter-
excellent food and look forward to our next visit. The menu is very extensive. Try the beet and goat cheese Salad!"

My family is looking into moving
into the Hudson area, so after driving around, we decided to have dinner here. The food is very good and nice sized portions. The house wine was also good. Our server, Mike, was very friendly and happy to please. The only real fault I noticed was that the curved lights on the wall were very dusty and could use to be wiped down."
Dined on 3/29/2014
Very accommodating for a group of
8 last minute. Service was incredible! I wish I remembered her name. Food was very good. A little pricy for the portions & ambiance. All in all I would definitely recommend"
Dined on 3/23/2014
Excellent food. Great service. We
have been there a few times and it's always a good experience"

I have just started a gluten-free
lifestyle and had my first bowl of gluten-free pasta at Tomato Grill. If I hadn't known it was GF, I wouldn't have guessed. The food was delicious. Service was a bit slow despite the fact we were eating late, but our server was pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience."
Dined on 3/14/2014
The Ap of smoked salmon crostini
was delicious and just the right amount to share. We all had salads and the best one was the Roasted beet and feta salad. I had rack of lamb, that had a reduction red wine sauce and was sprinkled with crushed cashews, yum. Other choices were Pasta and sausage, Pasta with mushroom red sauce,Seafood (Fruiti d Mar) and a Chicken with pasta. All loved their dishes. Service was terrific. It was a busy Saturday night, but we never felt rushed or neglected."
Dined on 3/8/2014
Everything was excellent. I would
recommend the food and ambiance to all. Not a drinker, but others enjoyed the wine..."

Have been to this Tomato Grill
many times, never disappointed. The taste is fresh, tasty and not overwhelming I like their seafood and pasta; can't go wrong with any combination. The desert is just fantastic. Great food and really reasonable prices."
Dined on 2/23/2014
We love this restaurant but this
past Saturday we arrived with our party of 6 and we had 7:30 p.m. reservations and we had to stand and wait for our table until 8:15. We found that people off the street had been seated and our reservations meant nothing to this restaurant."
Dined on 2/22/2014
We went here for Valentines Day.
We both enjoyed a martini, both of which were very strong. I freaking LOVE the herb crusted goat cheese! My husband, again, got the linguini and clams which he really loved. This time there was more prosciutto which he didn't like as much but overall, it was still a tasty dish. I got the eggplant parm. It does not come with pasta but a TON of eggplant. It was okay. I've had better...but I regretted not getting something else. The service was much better than the last time we were there on New Year's Eve. We will certainly return!"

Tomato Grille has a delicious and
affordable lunch menu! It's a great place to take a client or meet up with friends for a relaxing lunch!"
Dined on 2/19/2014
We had a nice night out for my
husband's birthday. It was very cold outside and the temperature inside was pretty chilly as well, which made it a little uncomfortable. The food and service were great-no complaints at all on that, just could have used more heat in the place. Anything made with their red sauce is very tasty!!"
Dined on 2/15/2014
Food was good, service very good,
unfortunatley, this restaurant is following the latest trend, and putting the tables WAY too close together...it's difficult to have a private conversation without those around you hearing."
Dined on 2/14/2014
We weren't seated until 30 minutes
past our reservation time. At the bar my husband had an espresso martini which tasted like a espresso vodka & water. I had the red sipper which was raspberry puree & champagne. The glass got very sticky and the drink was okay. For an appetizer I enjoyed the herb crusted goat cheese. SO GOOD. We shared a Boston bibb salad which the half was enough for the two of us to share at the recommendation of the waitress. My husband loved the linguini & clams but the gnocchi & chicken was okay. We got the chocolate mousse cake for dessert which was good but not great. Service was slow. It took a while to have our server come to our table. Getting leftovers boxed and getting our check took far longer than it should."

Have eaten here often & never had
a bad meal! Food is great, service is always wonderful & a very pleasant atmospher."
Dined on 2/12/2014
We chose Tomato Grill based on the
menu options. When we arrived for our 7pm reservation we learnt that we would have to wait 10 minutes before our table would be ready - this turned out to be more like 30 minutes! The Dinner Menu on the website indicated that there would be a $10 corkage charge for wines bought in and we were happy to pay this so brought in a nice bottle of wine to drink only to learn that they no longer permitted this and when we mentioned that this was an option listed on the website we were told that "The website was horribly out of date and the owner was not prepared to allow us to have our own wine!" Not a good start to our evening. However, we found the food excellent and the waiter was very friendly and helpful."
Dined on 2/8/2014
As you can see, this is one of my
favorite restaurants. It hasn't changed over the years, which is good. they started out good and only got better!"
Dined on 2/7/2014
We've dined at Open Table over 50x
and it's been a fantastic experience every visit."

As always, we had great service
and a wonderful dinner ! ! We have often dined at Tomato Grill and it has always been very good!"
Dined on 1/17/2014
Al little pricey but large
servings make up for it. So good that there was nothing to take home."
Dined on 1/9/2014
Went out to celebrate graduations.
Margarita was awesome; muscles appetizer was delicious and enough to share 3 ways. Eggplant Caprese was unique and very tasty. Nice atmosphere for good food, good drinks and good talks."

From out of town, took a chance on
an unknown ( to us) restaurant and we're very pleased with our selection. Went by previous reviews and we're not disappointed. Went New Year's eve and despite being extremely busy we were treated to warm friendly service and very good food"
Dined on 12/31/2013
We tried Tomato Grill solely
because it was still available on New Years Eve at 8pm and it was in the area we wanted. All eight of us said we would come back again. The menu, which is Italian based, has something for everyone. We ordered salmon dishes and veal dishes. Everyone really liked their meals. Two gots side of pasta with Alfredo sauce, normally done too thick and heavy, but this was done very light. Quite good. Their wine bottles are very reasonably priced. Sometimes it is worth taking a chance!"
Dined on 12/31/2013
My fiancé and I went here for a
date night and we loved the food and service. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. We lobed the appetizers as well."
Dined on 12/27/2013
I live in Brecksville and we love
D'Agneses in Broadview Heights, but because of the holidays we were not able to get a reservation when we wanted. We decided to try Tomato Grill. Pretty much the same great food, but unfortunately our server was very unprofessional and did not provide even close to the level of service I would expect at this restaurant. I usually am not bothered by service, but in this case is was really pretty bad. Other than that, food was very good and we had a nice time. Will definitely be returning to D'Agneses in the future."
Dined on 12/22/2013
The food was outstanding - the
freshness is what stands out; the flavor a were great, too. Great glass of wine, too!"
Dined on 12/20/2013
Had a great time and good food at
the Tomato Grill. Took friends who are strict vegans (no food with a face or a mother, ie no cheese, no butter, no meat, no fish) and not only was the waitress knowledgeable, but also very accomodating. She told us the kitchen would do whatever they wanted and they received a very nice bowl of whole wheat pasta, roasted veggies with olive oil and herbs. They were very pleased. My stuffed trout was superb! Can't wait to go back and have it again. My husbands chicken marsala was also great. We always have good meals at the Tomato Grill. We are big fans and will be back again and again."

What can beat excellent food?
Service then becomes a bonus. We sat by a window so had grreat views to people watch, especially during Christmas shopping!"
Dined on 12/18/2013
Excellent food & fabulous
service!! Will definitely go back."
Dined on 12/13/2013
Everything was really very nice
except for the reservation system. This is the second time I have made a reservation here and waited a half hour to be seated. There is a bar and the service and ambience at the bar is very good so it is not too bad but it is frustrating. Other than that, the food was very good. Service was excellent and the servers helped each other so you never felt ignored."
Dined on 12/14/2013
food was fair but price for salad
and main = fine dining spending"
Dined on 12/8/2013
Quality of the food and service in
the past has always been above average. Tonight was very disappointing."
Dined on 12/7/2013
Food was fair at best. My wife's
lettuce in salad was old and my risotto was gummy. Service was friendly, and desert was good aside from that, our meal was less than I would have expected. They did comp the salad without hesitation, so I do give them service marks for that, but they really need to address the food quality to get my recommendation."
Dined on 12/6/2013
The shrimp piccata was over cooked
and dry. The risotto in the seafood risotto dish was tasteless. The veal marsala was ordinary. Better to take your dining dollars elsewhere. The Tomato Grill has definitely gone downhill."
Dined on 12/3/2013
We had a party of five -- four of
us ordered wine and one ordered a beer. The waitress came back with four wines in ten or so minutes but asked again what kind of beer was ordered. Twenty minutes later, still no beer, so one of us went up to the bar to get it and was blatenly ignored by the bartender. Even after he took the order he helped another customer before pouring it. Didn't understand why it was so hard to pour a glass of beer. We've also been there once before and thought the bar tender was very rude and not attentive. When we were trying to decide our drink orders he seemed very impatient and annoyed. Sorry but bar tenders are supposed to have people skills....."
Dined on 11/27/2013
I went to the restaurant when it
was called The Red Tomato and was afraid that when it moved, it would change. They are still the same great restaurant with great food!"
Dined on 11/25/2013
We and another couple had dinner
here and it was out first time. Everything about the experience was excellent, from Linda, our server, to the food and drinks. Our only issue, and a minor one, was that it was a little loud. We could still carry on a conversation, but it was noticeable. However, we will definitely return!"
Dined on 11/16/2013
Food is always spectacular, wine
list is good and service is exceptional!"
Dined on 11/18/2013
My better half and I treat
ourselves to a nice restaurant every once in awhile and tried this place because we both love Italian. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. A table very close to us had another couple but I still felt like we were the only ones there because the noise level was so low. The food wasn't great, everything was presented beautifully but my Marsala sauce was much sweeter than I expected and took most of it home. The Caesar salad was a little bland as was the Calamari but was cooked perfectly. Overall we were disappointed due to the price and how little we enjoyed the food. I think it would be great for a drinks, appetizers and dessert after a night out. The dessert tray looked amazing, also."
