New York chef Tom Colicchio brings his passion for cooking with fire to the Las Vegas Strip with Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at The Mirage. The 220-seat restaurant will focuses on meats prepared entirely over an open flame – from wood-burning ovens to charcoal grills. On the menu, Tom returns to the American cultural tradition of meat, focusing on antibiotic-free animals raised by purveyors committed to time-honored farming practices and heritage breeds. The glow of the hearth permeates the entire restaurant and is reflected in the Bentel+Bentel design highlighting natural materials.

  • "I've been to Craft, Wich Craft and Colicchio & Sons in the past so I knew I was going to be in good hands at Heritage Steaks in Vegas. I sat at the bar and had a full dinner starting with cocktails (the bartender knew and made a perfect 'Last Word' and also had me try their play on it, the 'Rose Supper Club'). I started with the ash roasted bone marrow. A huge bone and tons of marrow matched with an apple slaw and lobster no less! Absolutely decadent! I followed that with a New York Strip perfectly prepared and seasoned with hand-cut fries. A perfectly tender and well seasoned grilled steak is actually hard to find in a slew of Vegas steakhouses, but you know you can count on perfection at a Colicchio restaurant."

  • "What a great change at the Mirage by transforming the location previously occupied by Kokomos. Tom Colicchio has out done himself at this place. The menu has something for every taste. I had a juicy sirloin that was cooked to perfection. Our server was pleasant and very helpful in all aspects. We will go again when in town I recommend it highly!"

We did split one starter and two entrees with two sides between us and it was more than enough for us. The staff was very accommodation and the food was wonderful!"

  • "Our first time at Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak, and definitiely not the last time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Filet Mignot and I loved the Beef Brisket. The Brisket melted in my mouth. The onion soup appetizer was very good and quite unique. Well worth the price. You definitely get what you pay for. Now we want to try Tom Colicchio's other restaurants. Good Choice for special occasions. Service was excellent."

  • "We were able to get a reservation for this restaurant when other fine dining restaurants in the Mirage were booked. I think it's just because the restaurant is still fairly new. It wasn't even in the guide books I have. The restaurant was fairly empty during our early dinner. I doubt that will continue. The setting is lovely, the staff was excellent and paid great attention to detail. The kitchen really knows how to cook a steak, and the salmon that I had was amazing, as were the sides."

  • "An outstanding experience from beginning to end. Many steak places put all the emphasis on the steaks, but the other elements of the meal fall flat. Not here - excellent cocktails (classics and not-so-classics), starters (we had the octopus and the bone marrow) and sides (the foie gras and the mushrooms) that you can tell were developed by an excellent chef. Oh, and the steaks rocked as well (bone-in rib eyes cooked over open flame). The service was attentive, very friendly, and made us feel like regulars on our first visit. The Sommelier helped us out with a special request for our wine - which was much appreciated. We have not had all that much luck at "Celebrity Chef" restaurants, but this one is awesome - and we will be back often."

The bone in rib eye was grisly and fatty, though my husband's New York strip was vey good. Service was very good, but not worth it for the prices."

One of the best grilled octopus dishes I've ever had. - Bone Marrow with Lobster - even better than expected. Get all the elements in one bite for ultimate deliciousness. - Rib Eye - Perfectly cooked & seasoned well. - Kobe Skirt - Better than expected, and that's saying a lot. It was aggressively seasoned, which was really nice. - Asparagus - cooked perfectly. - Spiced Onion Rings - perfectly crispy with great bite on the onion. The seasoning tasted like Chex Mix!! - Cookies & Cocolate Stout Float - yum. - Complimentary scoop of ice cream with a candle! Service was warm, friendly, prompt, and knowledgable. 10/10 would come back!"

  • "Even after reading the mixed reviews, we chose to try the restaurant. The Baby Salad was very good. The Sommelier did not want to bring us the wine we wanted, he kept talking up another type. We ordered the Roasted Salmon and the Sirloin. The Salmon was good, but the steak was fatty and less flavorful than we expected. The dessert was not as good as it sounded, but tasty nonetheless. When our bill came it had $58 worth of food listed that we did not order, so check the ticket! The waiter did apologize and removed the charge. Probably will not go back."

  • "A wonderful ambience, great service, and one of the best steaks I have ever had. I am not a foodie but a foodie would be thrilled. Still, I was happy with my choices without being intimidated. The wine list did intimidate me and I love wine. I did't find a bottle that I felt comfortable purchasing. It's a shame that nice restaurants fail to realize that a great bottle of wine can be found for under $100.00. I ended up wit.h a glass of Stag's Leap red blend that I could have purchased elsewhere for the same amount of money I spent on one glass.. Too bad. I much prefer wine but seem to be pushed in the cocktail direction because of pricing."

  • "Since we watch the Top Chef series, a buddy and I wanted to try Tom Colicchio's steak house, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellently prepared and delicious, and the service could not have been better. The prices are on the expensive side, but definitely worth it (For app, steak, side, and cocktail my bill after tip was about $130. My friend also had a glass of wine and a dessert port, and after tip, his bill was $200). Great experience, and I would recommend for any steak-lover."

  • "The steaks were cooked to perfection. However the top layer of onion rings were a bit salty as was the baby lettuce appetizer. If you're in the mood for desert, this is the place to go. The toffee bread pudding, with the pecan ice cream and banana wheels were the absolute highlight of the meal. Absolutely, decadent and top notch. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was way above par with little noise distraction from the casino."

  • "Our first visit. Had a party of six, so we were able to try several entrees, including the 32 oz. Bone-in Ribeye, Roasted Chicken, and Kobe Strip. All were exceptional, and well-prepared, as were the sides. Service was outstanding, and the waiter went beyond the call of duty to explain the steaks, including preparation, and sides. This steak house definitely knows how to sear and cook a steak! Expect to pay $100 per person, but well worth it. Watching the kitchen with the wood-fired grill is a nice "show" too."

  • "They had a lot of trouble dealing with a late add on to our reservation. 6 became 7. Could not sit at the end of a table in a dead corner, "because of fire code rules." We figured out how to go 4 on one side, 3 on the other side of the table. Easy. The hostess engaged the meathead manager to come over and try to make us feel like they were doing us a big favor. Great food and waiter service."

  • "Whether you are a beef eater or not, you will find something to suit your tastes on the menu. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked Beef Filet alongside a plate of beautifully roasted mushrooms. The 10 ounce cut served with a garnish of roasted potatoes was more than enough to fill me up and my husband was happy to share. He dined on the Spice-Roasted Lobster which was served on white polenta with a side of mustard greens and fennel. He practically licked the bowl clean."
