I always have a great time at lunch. I live nearby and this is our go-to spot for a consistent, delicious and healthy lunch spot. It's hard to find a place with good food, ambiance and that is kid-friendly. Service and food are excellent.1/19/2013 12:00:00 AMDined at Toku on a TuesdayDined at Toku on a Tuesday night for a special occasion and it was very busy. We had reservations and were seated right away. The service was excellent, and delivered at a brisk pace. No time to linger, but being a boisterous place it wasn't conducive to conversation, so idle minutes waiting for plates to be removed would have been annoying. The food was very good, but for the price tag, it should have been excellent. Most entrees would have benefitted from a bit more salt and or spice. It is a non traditional take on American-style Asian food. The entrees were ampled portions, the appetizers were a little sparse - order extra. Best dishes: duck salad, fried rice, sesame chicken, lobster sushi roll, shrimp dumpling, and ice creams.12/12/2012 12:00:00 AM
