"The brisket was excellent and the mac & cheese as well. Pass on the grilled asparagus -- nothing you can't do at home. We enjoyed the overall scene, and some of the tables even have their own tappers. If you plan to drink, head there at Happy Hour, when you can get reasonably priced drafts with a good selection. Eating here made the next day's lunch at Todd English's Olives a HUGE disappointment."

"We are locals. When we don't want stuffy white table cloth atmosphere on the strip Todd English Pub works for us. Easy access, lively atmosphere, convenient location. Food is always good and service is always attentive."

"Very poor value for money. The two items we ate were over $20 each and completely uninspired. Calling it a "gastropub" is a real stretch. Would not recommend and will not return."

"P.U.B. served a memorable and delicious meal. The fried oysters were large, crispy, and very flavorful. The house-made pickles were a fun treat. But the start of the meal was the Brown Butter Lobster Rolls. They were rich, delicious, and full of flavor! Simply superb!"

""Comfort food" has its limits, despite the attempt at gourmet elevation. While the lobster roll was very good, greasy with browned butter coating the bread, the swordfish enchilada was an undifferentiated Tex-Mex stew, hard to taste the bits of fish in the cheesy, spicy sauce. Comfortable booths and funny one-liners on the placemats were a plus. The three ditzy employees at the front failed to register our reservation. (I think the girl manning the computer was a trainee.) Luckily I kept the receipt and Open Table credited our points. Otherwise, the service was fine."

"Truly unforgivable experience - Todd English has reached that point in a celebrity chef's career where he will attach his name to any effort, no matter how poorly executed. Service lackluster and uneven; hostess stand overwhelmed. But it was the food itself that was not even worthy of Denny's and at jacked-up prices. My dining partner had the rib-eye steak. Dry and without flavor, it didn't even resemble a rib-eye cut: so flat and stretched-out that if curled on the sides it would have resembled a frisbee. I suffered through the chicken pot pie. Excuse me. Make that "potato and watery milk pot pie" topped with a piece of undercooked puff pastry. If this is English comfort food, I'd prefer to remain uncomfortable."
