The food is really good, everyone enjoyed their meals and not one person in our group ordered the same thing. I would have to give honorable mention to the filet, with a side of peppercorn sauce, so much flavor and done to perfection. The person that ordered the sea bass felt that the foams and reductions added too much complexity to it, wasn't their thing as they love the pure taste of fresh fish. This place is totally amazing and one of our favorite places in Toronto. By the way, pricing was $100.00 per person that with a $100 bottle of wine, appetizer for everyone, main and desert. We climbed the stairs up to Toca inside the Ritz Carlton Toronto and were lead through the beautiful dining room to our table. We sat right beside a glassed in cheese room placed in the center of the restaurant (nice touch!). We are both chefs ourselves and are always very critical of service and food. After choosing from a very large selection of wines we ordered truffle fries and cheese croquets to start. My boyfriend absolutely loved the truffles fries, such a simple and delicious idea! We both had the cavaletti pasta for a main, and a "Happy Birthday" creme brulee was brought to us to finish off a great night out! Our server Jacqueline was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. The food was delicious!!!!!! I would highly recommend tastings from The Cheese Cave. Unfortunately I was experiencing a headache and asked our server if there was a shop in the area where I could find some Tylenol or Advil. I was told that they would take care of it. Shortly thereafter the Manager came to our table to inform me that someone had been sent out to get me something. I was so impressed with the level of service. It is rare these days.
