TOCA has three Private Dining options.
TOCA's private dining room is located at the back of our main dining area partitioned off by a glass wall. The centerpiece of this space is a fixed custom solid wood table which can accommodate 12 guests comfortably. In the private dining room we serve the TOCA a la carte menu.
Our Chef’s Table, located directly inside the kitchen, is a wonderful experience for both foodies and those looking for something a little different from their dining experience. Our Chef will personally design a tasting menu tailored to you and your guests’ wishes and needs. The entire evening will be a memorable experience as you are personally guided through your experience by a dedicated server and Chef.
TOCA has recently created a semi-private space which will accommodate parties of up to 27 guests for a sit down dinner, and up to 60 for cocktail functions. Please contact us for more information.

I have had Sunday brunch at TOCA
twice now and have been completely blown away by the service both times. The staff bent over backwards to address my food sensitivities and to accommodate some special requests I made, and were very attentive throughout our visit. The food on both occassions was similar but not the same, with a wide selection that would suit any taste, and the quality was fantastic. I am already planning my third visit!"

I was disappointed with the food.
For the price, I was expecting better - in addition, the menu was different than what they offer on their website because it was a Sunday. Not knowing this, it added to the disappointment. The menu was shorter and they said it was to accommodate the kitchen! In addition, I personally do not like receiving a plate with only a piece of meat in it. In a high end restaurant, like at Toca, you expect a higher level of dining experience... if the chef doesn't bother to dress the plate, which is in my opinion more than half of the experience, he/she should not be in this business. I love the Ritz for its upscale reputation, but I don't think I will go back to the restaurant."

For $200 dinner for 2 should feel
special and it simply wasn't. Decent service but clearly not the A team on a Sunday night of a long weekend. Asked for romantic table via opentable yet they put is in the middle of the room straddled by two groups on either side. Wine was delicious but entrees were not. Forgot to tell me as I ordered that rack if lamb was unavailable yet it was only one of 6 entrees on the menu. Filet was dry and cooked medium despite ordering medium rare. Butternut squash ravioli looked promising but ultimately dry and bland. Expected more for the money and from a restaurant at a Ritz property"

I had been here for dinner before,
and it was delicious, but I had wanted to try their brunch for a while. Brunch is only on Sundays, and is well worth the price! The food is delicious - tons of seafood, cheese, fruit, pastries, an omelette station, eggs benedict, soup, beef wellington, and delicious desserts! You also get bellinis and mimosas with the cost of your brunch. I would highly recommend Toca for brunch!"

A very romantic and quiet
restaurant attached to Ritz Carlton. The menu is to the point and food is outstanding. This is not my first trip and wont be my last. The wine list is great and there private selection is also great. The word no doesn't exist. I would recommend the filet and the cod when featured. The tartar app is one of the best in the city."

of food list was exteremly bad, waiters and survisir were rude and everybody give us attitude, i wont come back to this resturant specially in this kind of occasional, why should spend $260 for horrible food"

While everyone was smiling and
friendly, I personally feel that the service must be 100% to justify 50$ for a piece of chicken. The food was fair for the price, but it was nothing special. I would think that all the dishes should have the flair of the calamari which went really well with the squid ink. The service was below average, like I had said, they were polite and friendly but my water was never poured for me, we had asked 2 questions that were never answered, this is hardly the type of service I had expected. The last puzzling thing was the cheese plate I had, water crackers, apples and pecans. All good right ? but smack in the middle, olives? over powering olives with cheese ? did you mean grapes ?"

We went to Toca for our 4th year
anniversary. I mentioned to our server that it was our anniversary. She promptly moved us to a cozy booth and brought a glass of bubbly for each of us. The service was fantastic, the food was very good and it wasn't too loud or cramped. They they also surprised us with a complimentary dessert with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate. So impressed - so thoughtful. We will be back!"

Very impressed with the menu starting with the apps through to the mains. Will definitely be going back for date night or girl's night out! My girlfriend and I are budding
foodies, and I decided to take her to TOCA for her birthday dinner given the rave reviews I was seeing around the web. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, from start to finish we were waited on with the perfect balance of attentiveness and space which allowed us to share a special dinner. To make matters even more special, they carried a unique brand of Australian wine whose winery we had visited the year before and cannot be found elsewhere in Toronto. The food was incredible, especially the in house cheese cave, which made an excellent finish to our already outstanding meal. Highly recommended."

We chose Toca at the
recommendation of my sister who has been several times. She is a local politician so there was some concern that she might be receiving service beyond the norm as can sometimes happen. I am happy to say that could not be farther from the truth. We were very happy with all parts of the experience. Our food was excellent and perfectly timed. Our only regret was that we were due at the theatre and so could not partake of the cheese list. Something we intend to rectify soon. Our only minor complaint might have been that the number of service staff we were dealing with became somewhat confusing to my 86 yr old father. Certainly not cause to avoid another truly marvelous experience."

times to be seated even though we had reservations. We were asked multiple times if we'd been helped which was a little annoying. They attempted to make it up with mediocre amuse bouche; the effort was appreciated. Food was decent - average/above average; The octopus appetizer was especially nice. Wine selection was unexpected - a positive surprise."

The food was as really good; as
would be expected from a Ritz-Carlton based restaurant. The wine cellar selection is good, but not spectacular. The service is top notch! Total cost was almost 4K for a party of eleven - lots of wine ;) Here are a few recommendations: 1) If you go with the shared Canapés, realize that the portions are small. Being European, I was expecting the sharing 'Charcuterie Board' to consist of much more. 2) Try the Foie Gras as an appetizer. Not many restaurants continue to serve this pâté, and Toca does a really nice job of it. 3) If you enjoy beef, go for the Filet Mignon. It is, spectacular! 4) For a light desert, try the Panna Cotta. All in All, a definite "Must Try" restaurant. Ejoy!"

My wife and I went to Toca for our
first night out after our son was born and it was excellent. We let Taylor, their excellent Sommelier, take care of the wine selection and enjoyed truly phenomenal food. We ordered one item off-menu which they handled easily. The lobster pasta is excellent. I look forward to returning and sampling their wine selection (we had a concert to make which kept dinner shorter than we'd otherwise have liked). Toca is strongly recommended and is clearly better than most hotel restaurants, deserving to be a destination itself regardless of if you are at the ritz."

While TOCA is far from the biggest
brunch buffet in Toronto and while the space is limited it is exactly that (exclusive) and the quality of the food that makes this by far the BEST brunch in town. If you are OK with the price (it’s expensive) and want perfect service, great food and great atmosphere – this is the place to go. The emphasis on quality and not quantity is evident in every dish, the presentation, and in the service."

I went to TOCA for the
all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch and it was fantastic. The food selection was the most varied I've seen anywhere for a brunch menu and everything was of excellent quality and very fresh (the servers constantly replenished the food items and switched out any seafood that had been sitting out too long). But even better than the food was the service. From the minute we walked through the door to the minute we left, the staff bent over backwards to ensure that we were satisfied that day, even making us items that were off-the-menu. If only I could afford it, I'd go there every week!"

Michelin rates restaurants based
on many criteria. One of those is "worth a detour" ( think that is one star). Well, the cheese cave here is unique. It is a chance to try some perfectly fresh and perfectly aged cheeses like no other restaurant I've been to. If you like cheese, ask and enjoy. They also offer a "cave tour" to try out many of these. Oh, the food is also excellent, even though the overall feel is more "relaxed" than what one usually finds in a Ritz Carlton Hotel. Service is wonderful. This is my second time and certainly on my list every time I visit Toronto"
