"First time here. It was only about 1/3 full at 7:30 on Saturday night. When we asked the server about what to order we got a complex answer that it's best to share as the kitchen is "inconsistent with having your order come out at one time." So, that's what we did. Then order all came out at one time! Had we known this we would have ordered something different. Also there was a Foursquare check in for an amuse bouche which the server forgot - she apoligized as we got the bill and told us to ask for this next time."

"If it had been a warmer evening, we would have chosen to sit outside. The noise level inside was unpleasantly loud, making conversation difficult, if not impossible. (My review of energetic, above, puts a positive spin on an experience that was anything but!) The food was very good, except for the lentil soup that seemed lacking in flavor. We were disappointed to learn that the planned expansion into the adjoining building will be a cocktail bar, rather than a quieter place to eat for those who would prefer a less "energetic" bar scene."

"Food is good. Decors is spare, to say the least. Outside seating is a good draw both for those who people watch as well as those who want to be seen. Service bordered on mediocre, but we all have a bad day. I will go back to see if the service gets any better; however, it will be awhile - too many other good choices in the area. I will hold off for a few more visits before I recommend it."

"Absolutely loved celebrating my birthday here! We were there for 2.5 hours and NEVER felt rushed. Our 2 young children (ages 4 and 6) were welcomed and entertained with drawing paper and crayons. Fabulous evening!!"

"The food was okay -- some things under-salted (bean puree appetizer) and some over-salted (biscuits with the strawberry shortcake). Lamb meatballs were terrific. However, way overpriced for very small plates. Too bad because its got a nice atmosphere. I still think I'd go there for a drink with my husband, but the food is not worth the cost."

"I was somewhat put off by the small plates menu which included items like halibut for $21, grossly overpriced but tasty. Pre-tip total for 4 people, one of whom had no wine, was $162. All in, around $50/person. Not a great value"

"More a wine bar than a restaurant--it was too dark to see the menu, too loud for a real conversation, and the table legs are set so that you have to sit sideways--all attributes that are fine for a bar, and that's what this place is. We'd expected more locals, but it seems a place where people stop in on their way home to the other side of the tunnel. We'll go back, but just to sit outdoors and have a quick glass of wine and a snack."
