It was pretty quiet at lunch, but the menu had a lot of great options- even for the vegetarians in our group! A must try is the tater tots. They come in a set of four as a starter plate, so you may need to order two plates. Well worth it!

We had Easter brunch which is probably not the usual menu for this restaurant. The buffet selections included two kinds of scrambled eggs (we debated if they were "real" eggs), stuffed French toast (with brie), ham and some BBQd meats (chickent and brisket) and a fruit platter. The only breads were bagels and muffins. It would have been nice to see a few extras such as plain syrup instead of just a raisen sauce for the French toast. It would have also been good to have some additional kinds of bread. There was sausage and bacon which were both cooked perfectly (I always get "limp" bacon at these buffets, but this time, they were all crispy!). Our server was very friendly and made sure we had our drinks. Overall was a pleasant Easter.

The dinners that we picked, salmon over risotto, fried chicken fillets & steak salad, were very well prepared. The rioja wine went well with the food. We were seated before our 7 pm reservation. When we left the place was crowded on Friday night.

Good food and service, bottles of wine 1/2 price on Monday. Cozy full craft beer list. Group of 9 all happy. Skip the tuna entree not much flavor or texture. Meatloaf was yummy. Out of the ribeye on this visit.

We had to wait a while at the hostess desk as she carried on a long telephone conversation. After choosing entries from the specials menu we were told we were given the wrong ones and we had to start over. Two (our of three) of us chose the mussels and fries, a special. The mussels were small and dry. The small amount of broth was in the middle of the plate under the fries. That led to soggy fries, and did nothing to help the dry mussels plated around the edge. The third had the strip steak. It had a hint of smoke, but was not very tasty otherwise, and was tougher than expected in a quality NY strip. The sides for the steak, spinach and mashed potatoes, were excellent. The restaurant itself is lovely.

It was St.Patrick's Day so it was crowded. Waiter rushed us through our meal even though I asked for time between courses. I had a reservation and should have been able to leisurely enjoy our meal. Food was tough and lukewarm in temperature. Waiter did not check in very much with us. Have eaten here before but this time very disappointed. Not my first choice in the future for Old Town restaurants.

None of the diners in our group had been to this restaurant before but the location and previous reviews were the reason we were sold. The food was great and our group of 7 (including a toddler) was well taken care of.
