One of our favorite restaurants in the Cape May area. One of the best, if not THE best. However, if your waitress tells you that the Halibut is spicy, it IS spicy. I chose the Thai Halibut (should have had the special Halibut), my wife had the Salmon. Mine was way too spicy hot, so I ended up eating my wife's meal, should have sent it back as it was way too SPICY for me. Her Salmon was awesome. We'd recommend they tone down the Halibut and serve the Salmon on rice instead of mashed. Our preferences though, now we know. Will still return when we want an excellent BYOB meal. Just make sure to listen to your server & ask for the sides & sauces you like.

Good selection of starters and entrees. Also several specials were offered. Food quality was good, noise level moderate and not loud, service was excellent. Plenty restaurants in CM but one of the best in the convenient mall area. BYOB , so bring your favorite vino. Enjoy.

Second time at Tisha's. Food was very good but a tad salty on the seafood risotto. This is a BYOB restaurant. The waitress spilled my friend's full glass of very good wine and broke the glass. She apologized and gave her a new glass. Thought she could have offered her some compensation - maybe a piece of dessert??

We ate at Tisha's on Saturday night on the recommendation of a friend. The food was very good, and our waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was nice, but our table was right near the front door, so we saw a lot of the foot traffic into the restaurant. We were served the last of the lobster bisque and risotto for the day (not sure how a restaurant on the ocean runs out of lobster at 6:30pm though...). Overall, i thought the prices were a little hight, but we were very satisfied. Among the other places we ate in Cape May this weekend, Tisha's was at least worth the money.

Cape May NJ has many very good restaurants, but I'd rate Tisha's up there among the top five. We haven't been to Tisha's since they moved to the mall location (about 5 years). The old place was a bit too noisy, but the new venue is relaxed and quieter than the old place. Maybe because it was September and only us old folks were there, but it was just right. The food however was amazing. My dinner was the halibut with an interesting curry-like sauce that gave just the right kick to the dish. My wife had some of the best gnocchis we have ever had (including in Italy). Wait staff were personable and friendly. The meal was paced excellently. All that plus BYOB. You can't beat this place.

Tisha's is one of the best restaurants in Cape May. Open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is delicious with excellent presentation and good table service. It's also a BYOB and located right in the Washington Mall, so it's very convenient. Give it a try. I know you will like it. We look forward to going back on our next visit to Cape May.

It was difficult to choose only 3 places to have dinner during our brief stay in the area, from the many great dining establishments in Cape May. The previous evening's experience was a disappointment so we had high hopes for Tisha's. I listened to the raves about the Seafood Risotto and my husband had the filet. Both were absolutely delicious and we were very happy. A previous reviewer scoffed at the 2 pieces of bread put on the table but they were, in fact, homemade biscuits and were phenomenal. They were promptly refreshed upon request. All in all a great experience.

Tisha's is always fantastic! It exceeds my expectations on food taste and quality. I can count on an excellent meal every time I dine at Tisha's. I had lobster bisque, cajun fried oysters, scallops risotto, and flourless chocolate cake. I eat oysters because of the cajun fried oysters at Tisha's and I have never found a flourless cake this good! I wish I could get the recipe. My husband had shrimp bruschetta, cajun fried oysters, seafood risotto, key lime pie and capuccino. His meal was wonderful also. We can't say enough about Tisha's! The only negative I would give and it has nothing to do with the food was the Barbra Streisand music has to go. One or two songs would be fine, but all night long was toooooo much!

Not our first time at Tisha's, and surely not our last. Great food and service. The appetizer of mussels with Thai curry sauce is outstanding...a friend tried to buy a quart of the curry sauce on a previous visit! This time we had the lobster ravioli and the salmon, but we've never been disappointed by any of the selections. Now that the tourist season is over the locals are getting a better chance at seating, but that just shows how good the restaurant is.

The food here is very good even though it is located on the busy/touristy mall. Had heard good things about, but was suspect due to location and the amount of tourists in the area. I probably had the best pork chop, double cut with broccoli rabe and peppers on top. The other meal at my table was the Salmon and shrimp. Although not very spicy, it had great flavor. Both were perfectly cooked.

We make Tisha's our first stop every trip to Cape May. Aside from the overly cold air conditioning system, this visit was outstanding as usual.
