  • "This is the best restaurant in Cape May. My wife and I have been there about a dozen times. It is consistently exceptional. Last visit had the Lobster Ravioli for the 1st time. It was fantastic. Filet Mignon is also always cook to perfection. You can't miss with the seafood. Can't wait to go back again."

  • "My husband chose Tisha's based on the great reviews from Trip Advisor and we must agree that dinner was terrific. I had the award winning clam chowder and lobster ravioli - both dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared. My husband had the seafood risotto and he was equally impressed. We were extremely pleased with the experience and even went back for lunch the next day which we usually do not do when exploring a new location. Great job!"

  • "we had a nice, quiet, romantic dinner here on Saturday night. We seated promptly to a nice table in the back dining room, Brooke was our server and promptly greeted us, opened our wine, gave us the special update. I ordered the salmon special (a blackened salmon over mashed potatoes with green beans) and my husband had the ahi tuna. Both were perfect! Too full for dessert...But a lovely dinner."

  • "Normally we stop at Lucky Bones when we are in Cape May for lunch, but this time we opted to try something new-and we are glad we did. The dining room is tastefully done in shades of gray with black and white photos on the wall. THe lunch menu had several salads, soups, sandwiches and small plates. My husband chose a salad with grilled salmon. The salmon piece was a good size, and perfectly grilled. The salad was fresh mixed greens with cranberries and walnuts and a light balsamic dressing. IT was heavenly. I chose the scallops with risotto. The four scallops were seared to perfection, and the risotto was delicious. Tisha's is definitely on our list for our next trip to Cape May!!!!!!"

  • "We dine at Tisha's regularly and have never been disappointed. This past time was as always terrific. I had the lobster ravioli with 3 huge shrimp and lump crab meat on top. My husband ordered the sea bass and asked instead of the curry sauce would like the wine butter sauce with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was the best ever! Tisha's is very accommodating and and always friendly. Salad and sorbet and delicious rolls are included with the meal."

Greeted and shown to a nice table, Brooke was our server and she's excellent, the food was perfect. I had the lobster & shrimp ravioli and I'd order it again.   • "My family and I dine at Tisha's frequently, since it offers nice ambiance, excellent service and a very good selection of appetizers and entrees. My mother had the Thai Salmon and I had the spicy Chilean sea bass garnished with little neck clams in the shell. Both dishes were very good to excellent! I always recommend Tisha's to both friends and strangers visiting Cape May. It's a sure hit!"

  • "My wife and I ate at Tisha's for dinner over the weekend. The service was excellent and the place was filled.The food was very good, we had the Filet Au Poivre and the Chicken Tisha. Both were excellent and the filet was perfectly cooked. The Ceasar side salad was delicious as well (although the anchovies on top were a bit much for us - at least they were easily removed). We weren't in love with the pumpkin ravioli appetizer but the meal more than made up for it. Definitely a good choice for a nice meal out in Cape May."

  • "A friend recommended this restaurant, so I went online to view the menu. I saw that there was Chilean Sea Bass, so I booked a reservation. When I got there, the server said that they did not have the Chilean Sea Bass and were substituting Mahi Mahi in it's place. I told the server that I was disappointed that they did not have the sea bass and the server responded with, "Well, they are very similar, they are both white fish." NOT! The Mahi Mahi was so overcooked and dry that I had to drink in between my bites. The curry was overpoweringly spicy. My server never came to ask me how my entree was or I would have told her. The creme brulee was just a crust of sugar with a tiny bit of custard underneath. Not going back."

The scallop risotto appetizer and the puffed pastry stuffed with vanilla ice cream covered with chocolate sauce were to die for! We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends."

  • "As a local, we had been there before. The food was above average, but there was not a lot of selection. Only one chicken choice. Portions were fine. The taste was OK. The service was ok as well. Not much on ambience. Just a big square room with tables in it. Somehow, when spending more than $100 in a BYOB restaurant, i thing there should have been a larger WOW factor. Again, not terrible, not outstanding. Just a bit above average."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Tisha's on Saturday night. For appetizers, I had the lobster risotto and she had the pumpkin stuffed gnocchi, both excellent. After house salads and sorbet, we both chose filet for our main course. I had the special cooked medium rare topped with crabmeat and served with bernaise while my wife had the filet au poivre cooked medium from the regular menu. Both cooked perfectly and delicious. Although we certainly didn't need anything else, we spit apple pie for dessert which was quite good as well. Service was excellent and the byob helped offset some of the expense of the meal, which was worth every penny regardless. We will definitely be back."

  • "Have purchased a summer home in the Cape May area and have been there for three years. The food, service, atmosphere, and staff are all wonderful. We have tried everything on the menu at one time or another and have found each and every entree to be outstanding. We have tried other restaurants in the area, but none have come close to the perfection of the food and the quality of service. The menu has changed with the seasons and we look forward to visiting the restaurant to try the new entrees. The pumpkin ravioli is amazing with brown butter sage. The fish and the meat entrees all are mouthwatering. Excellent!!!"

  • "We have been fans of Tisha's since they opened on the beach in Cape May and visit somewhat regularly. On March 7th, having spent $33.00 for an entrée that included a house salad, I was extremely disappointed to find that I was served salad in a bag, with a few grape tomatoes thrown in. No cucumber, celery, olives, croutons, or anything to make it interesting. When I mentioned it to the waitress, the complaint was (politely) shrugged off and no alternative was offered. We were offered dessert at the end of our meal (which we declined), but should have been offered coffee and was not. The following day, we headed out to 5 West Pub (same owners), where they served a variety of homemade and delicious salads. Why not the flagship?"

  • "My bride and I have been to Tisha's many times. From soups to appetizers to entrees they give you tasty items every time...often too much to attempt dessert. My wife shared our pumpkin gnocchi and then had the appetizer size lobster risotto for her main dish. Outstanding.and more than enough. My veal tenderloins were tasty and the sauce and mashed potatoes also were smooth and buttery. Cost is typical for a quality, high end, lovely place...and it's a BYOB! You really shouldn't miss this wonderful eatery in Cape May."

  • "Always a delicious meal at Tisha's. On this last visit I had the mushroom risotto, lobster ravioli, and profiteroles and each met or exceeded all of my expectations. They have my favorite risotto in the area, and with 3 different ways to enjoy it, I make sure to get at least one type on every visit. Lobster ravioli in many restaurants are typically not all that great, being mostly filled with cheese and very little lobster, but unsurprisingly that was not the case here. Each bite was full of lobster meat, and the entree was topped with crab and shrimp to make it all the more delicious and satisfying. The profiteroles have always been my favorite way to cap a meal here, and as usual they did not disappoint. A must visit in Cape May."

  • "Kelly turned a not so great evening into an ok one. The hostess sat us at a two top table in the middle of the dining room with empty tables of four which she filled with deuces for the remainder of the evening. We had called ahead asking to push our reservation time back and were told no. Of course, the restaurant remained empty while we kept our reservation, dined, ordered dessert and coffee. Oh, no decaf. Someone forgot to order decaf. Perhaps it is opening weekend jitters, I'll give it another go, but Brenda ought to consider a little more finesse in her management. Thanks, Kelly for a lovely night."

  • "Be sure to bring your "big" wallet. Maybe it was because it was Valentine's Weekend but the prices of the entrees really surprised my group. Don't get me wrong , the food was good but there are other places in Cape May that have comparable entrees for a lesser price. When I pay big prices for a special occasion meal , I also would like to have a bathroom facility that I don't have to stand in the main dining area as I wait in line . I felt like I was in a bar not a fine dining restaurant in Cape May. Southern Belle"
