We enjoyed our lunch at Tisha's. After being seated we were given time to make our selections. They have many unique choices and we were not disappointed with our meal. The service was attentive and the restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere. Will choose it again when we are in Cape May.

I went with 3 friends on Saturday night. We were seated promptly and had our wine opened immediately. My steak was cooked to perfection, and included creamy mashed potatoes and asparagus. We also had Caesar salads which were also excellent. My only complaint was that the waitress cleared my guests plates before I was finished which made me feel rushed.

Because it is now off season in Cape May, my hubby and i were lucky enough to grab a last minute reservation on Friday. We love Tisha's and have for years, the lobster risotto is to die for and whether you have meat fish or fowl you are in for a treat. Desserts as wonderful as well. We had the pumpkin cheese cake, nice strong flavors not wishy washy. Yummy!

We have dined here for dinner and this was our first time for lunch. Our main meals were delicious (a fish sandwich and chopped salad) but the soups at this place steal the show. The clam chowder has strong and wonderful tastes without being a glob of flour, it is unexpectedly light. We recommend this restaurant.

This is the 2nd time to this restaurant in a month. The first time I had the Halibut special with crab, which was perfectly executed and the second time I had the filet. I was a little disappointed in the filet as it was really smothered with gravy that was too heavy in both taste, quantity and consistency. The filet however was cooked just right. The pumpkin app was delicious but a little sweet, I would almost suggest it as part of the dessert menu. My friend had a seafood dish which was supposed and warned by the waitress to be very spicy, but failed to meet his expectations although he still enjoyed the dish. All in all though, the food, the atmosphere and music made for a nice dining experience, as well as an attentive wait staff.

We eat in this restaurant every time we are in CM and have never been disappointed. A perfect 36th anniversary dinner The cajun oysters were perfect and my shrimp dish that was fantastic. My wife's lobster risotto was out of this world good.I've read other reviews that critiqued the waitstaff but we have never had a problem with any our waiters here. I can only assume the bad reviews were from bad customers.

My wife and I went with another couple. We have been here before several times and always enjoy this BYOB. This time; however, my wife ordered with Thai salmon, which came with Thai Chili sauce. she was expecting it to be spicy and more on the hot side. We have been in authentic Thai restaurants so we know. This sauce was not hot at all and it was sweet, which ruined a really nice piece of salmon. Don't have the salmon. All the other dishes were great. Previously we have had halibut, veal, short ribs and all were excellent.

Went to Cape May for a weekend and Tisha's was recommended by our B&B. It was fantastic! We live in DC where wonderful restaurants abound, and Tisha's would fit right in with the best of them. There were four in our party, and the fried oysters, appetizer special (shrimp bruschetta), bolognaise, salmon and veal were all superb! We would go back to Cape May with Tisha's as our destination!

This restaurant was recommended by several people and we were not disappointed!!!! food was outstanding and ambiance is lovely. initially, we were seated in the back room where, considering the type of restaurant this is, there was a surprisingly loud and disruptive party. the waitress was kind enough to notice our discomfort and arranged to have us moved to a quieter table in the front room. this was much appreciated. we were celebrating my husbands birthday and were hoping for a special evening. the rest of the night met every expectation and we would return in a heartbeat!!!

i have been to Tisha's a hand full of times over the past four years. I can not believe they always brought a bread roll for each person, after we had a roll we had to ask 3 times for another roll. Our waitress opened our wine but did not pour it as the other waitresses did, service was so slow we hesitated ordering desert because our waitress came to our table as a after thought. The food itself was good, not outstanding, small portio for the price. By the way, ran out of entree specials, WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? We will not travel the distance we traveled to go back. Come on folks for the money we spent, you are going to only allow 1 roll per person?

Although they serve wine from a local vineyard, I suggest bringing your own. Food was very good. The Cajun Fried Oysters and Shrimp with Polenta appetizers really were outstanding. My wife had the Zambuca Scallops over Linguini. It was loaded with scallops. Nice light flavor. I had the Filet au Poivre medium. It came out medium! Very tender, the demi glace had a smooth and full bodied flavor. It's topped with onion rings. My only complaint, needed more onion rings! Service was attentive without being overbearing. Staff was very knowledgeable of the menu items and in fact, our waitress recommended the Shrimp and Polenta which we really enjoyed. We would definitely recommend this to friends and plan to go back next time we're in Cape May.

We enjoyed the crab cakes and a seafood medley with clams, scallops, shrimp and at least a dozen mussels in a red sauce over pasta - both were very well done. Finished with key lime pie - just the right amount of tartness to cleanse the palate. Excellent service sizes - so give the specials a try.

You must try clams or mussels with red curry sauce. Out of this world! On the dinner menu, you will love the fresh scallops, tender and flavorful, without equal. At lunchtime, the sandwiches are terrific and imaginative, especially the crab cake tacos with homemade relish and avocado. All items are made with authentic fresh and seasonal ingredients. Tisha's is unsurpassed in Cape May and probably unsurpassed in New Jersey anywhere. All kudos to Tisha's.

With some good to great, but overpriced locations nearby we were hoping, but not necessarily expecting. But what a gem. My wife doesn't eat seafood or mushrooms, so was down to 3 available choices, yet all 3 sounded delicious. We decided on a steak and seafood risotto and those were expertly prepared and presented and are not only delicious, but satisfying as well. Desserts we did not try, but what we've seen served looked just fabulous.

Our visit to Tisha's was fabulous. It was our 28th wedding anniversary and spent a long weekend in Cape May. Tisha's is always on our list of restaurants. The food is impecable, the service consistant and the dimly lit ambiance is very romantic. I always go for the seafood risotto but resisted this time and instead went for the Pasta Lauren. It is a twist on penne vodka and I must say, the shrimp in the pasta was outstanding. My husband had seafood pescatore and there was an abundance of seafood in a delicious garlic sauce. If you go make a reservation because we watched people get turned away because the restaurant is at capacity.

The Lobster bisque was delicious, hot and filled with large pieces of lobster. Our entrees, one chicken dish and one shrimp dish were exceptional. It was a Saturday night and Tisha’s was very busy. However we were seated promptly thanks to our reservation. The wait staff was prompt and courteous. However our waitress was a little too “robotic” with her quick questions to how we were enjoying our meal and anything we needed. We chalked it up to a busy night and had an excellent time.

We had been at Tisha's a few years ago when they were still on the pier. The new location is convenient, but we missed the ambiance of the water/ocean view. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the gnocchis, bother were excellent! My only food complaint was the salad was waaaayyy too over dressed. Other than that, everything was delicious. Our server was friendly, but did not ask us if we wanted anything to drink and when we inquired forgot to bring it to us. Other than that, it was a great experience.
