Tisha'sTisha's for our 45thWe tremendously enjoyed our 45th wedding anniversary dinner at Tisha's in Cape May, NJ over Father's Day weekend. The New England Calm Chowder was top-notch, as was everything we ate that evening. The restaurant was full but not noisy, the service was excellent, and the ambience very pleasant. In fact, we liked the restaurant so much that we had breakfast there the day we left Cape May, and it was delicious.
We look forward to bringing family and friends to this restaurant in the future!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOutdoor Dining at Tisha'sHad a wonderful meal on the front patio of Tisha's this weekend! Service and food were fantastic! People watching a bonus.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMExtensive and creative menu.Extensive and creative menu. The dishes were well presented, plentiful, and great tasting. Moderate prices for a BYO restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant in a town filled with many other good establishments.. Tisha's remains one of our favorate places to have a relaxing and memorable dinner.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMRestaurant weekHave always loved this place, and the BYOB makes it all the more attractive

I like to bring my own wine.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious restaurant week mealWe have eaten at Tisha's several times and it is one of our favorite restaurants in Cape May! The restaurant week meal was absolutely wonderful. I had clams with a curry sauce and then shrimp with broccoli rabe and pasta in a gorgonzola sauce. Dessert was a heavenly flourless chocolate cake. Others had mushroom risotto as an appetizer and salmon for their main course. Overall it was a great meal with a lovely presentation. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. By all means go to Tish's-their regular menu is also terrific.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Tisha's!!!!!It's Restaurant Week in Cape May! Tisha's had a $35. three course meal. The regular menu is also available and there were a few specials too. DELICIOUS!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a vsitTisha's is a great value since it is BYO with very good food. The menu is very creative and enticing. My wife had the fried oysters with the spicy mayonnaise for an appetizer and I had their award wining clam chowder, both were very good. As an entrée my wife had the salmon & shrimp with a Thai sauce which was outstanding. I had the filet mignon Alexandra which was just OK; I would not order it again and don't believe it to be worth $40. Both of our desserts were excellent as was the service.
We definitely would visit Tisha's again. Dinner for the two of us before tip was $128.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWildwood LocalThis the 5th time we have had diner and it was great.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful DinnerWe were party of 4. Three of us ordered off the 'Resturant Week" menu and it was a great deal. For $35 we had a 4 course meal. Tisha's appetizers may seem pricey but they are unique and large enough to share. A salad comes with the meal which is a real plus. This is our third time to Tisha's and it has become a favorite.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome!Food was outstanding as well as the service. The food is creative and prepared with care. The lobster risotto appetizer is amazing, one of our favorites! The tuna is spot on, always fresh and delicious! The service is friendly, well informed and always attentive. I suggest making reservations in advanced because it can be difficult getting a seating. Outstanding presentation of food!!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding mealDinner at Tisha's was the best meal of my visit to Cape May. Jumbo lump crab cake, red mashed potatoes and baby spinach; jumbo shrimp sautéed in pepper cream sauce with jumbo lump crab meat was absolutely perfect. Front porch setting was comfortable and a fun spot for people watching.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe reviews did not steerThe reviews did not steer us wrong,,, excellent food, exceptional service, and the local wine offering was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner, one of the highlights of our first visit to Cape May. We sat outside and it was lovely.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMA little less grit next time.We selected Tisha's from a list of restaurants to use as part of a B&B package we received because of favorable reviews we read and it's menu. My wife and I both ordered the scallops and mushroom risotto and split a barbecue shrimp with cheese appetizer. The appetizer was exceptional as would the entree have been as well had it not been for the sand grit in the scallops that leached into the risotto. This was not the case with both meals so I guess it was the luck of the draw. Our server was personable and provided very good service and the overall experience was pleasant.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways WONDERFUL!We ate at Tisha's on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend with a party of 7. Service was prompt and attentive and the food was amazing as usual. Desert was sublime.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good. My husbandFood was very good. My husband could not stop raving about the puttenesca, said it was the best he ever had. We will definitely go back.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOur FavoriteStill our favorite in Cape May. Great Italian and Asian leaning new American cuisine. The best seafood and risottos around. Scallops , shrimp tempura and blackened tuna were all amazing, and the portions are very large, so dessert is probably not an option after an app and entree. BYOB, right on the Washington Mall. We book Tisha's first every trip down.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways goodThis was our third time at Tisha's and first time for lunch. Out of all the highly rated restaurants in Cape May, Tisha's seems to be the most reliable (along with the Ebbitt Room). Food is always top notch and the restaurant never too loud. Two thumbs up.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOne we come back to again and againI love the relaxed feel of this place. The service is great, always helpful and thoughtful. My husband and I always eat here when visiting Cape May. The coconut curry mussels appetizer dish is a must! I love that they bring lemon sorbet before your meal to cleanse your palate, pretty fancy. We will definately be returning.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMA Cape May TreatHad a girl's getaway with a dear friend from Florida. We had dinner at three different restaurants and Tisha's was the final and the best.
Our favorite dish is linguine and clams and this was the best that either of us have ever had and we've tested many wonderful restaurants.
The service was great. The ambience lovely and the food will be remembered for many years to come.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWhen our B&B recommended Tisha'sWhen our B&B recommended Tisha's in the Washington Street Mall, I had my doubts that a good restaurant could exist in such a touristy, shopping-oriented setting. However, we went anyway -- and were surprised by the great food! I had the pepper shrimp with crab cake: 2 jumbo shrimp with a spicy Cajun cream sauce and a generous crab cake served on top of spinach leaves over mashed potatoes, with extra lump crab meat on top and a sprig of rosemary. Excellent. My wife had the blackened yellow fin tuna with red pepper strips over mashed potatoes. Also excellent. Would definitely recommend.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMUsually go to Cape May twiceUsually go to Cape May twice a year and always eat at Tish's - never had a bad meal, everything is always top notch and great service.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMFantasticThe food was amazing. Can't wait to go back.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Romantic celebrationWe went to Tisha's for our 37th anniversary. We went midweek in May . Had not been to 'new' location. While we missed the ocean, nothing was lacking in any other respect. It was just as good as we remebered (maybe even a little better.) We will be back probably in the Fall to avoid the tourists.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful eveningSpent a wonderful evening with my wife for dinner. Located in the heart of Cape May, I could see how this restaurant could be very crowded during the peak season. BYOB5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMLived up to their reputationEverything was cooked to perfection, One of the best steaks and freshes tseafood you can encounter at the Shore. The servers and hostesses were very kind and greeted my wide with a "happy Mother's Day" at every turn. In addition the food was excellent for both the adults and kids. Would recommend going there to anyone.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat DinnerWe went to an early dinner for Mother's Day. Although the prices are fairly high, we brought our own wine which would have added another $60 to the bill. The food was excellent and well presented. This is our second trip in a month and we will return.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLarge portionsMy daughter and I split a bowel of lobster bisque which was large enough for 2. A large salad portion we didn't finish because we were getting full. Dinner portion was pretty decent also and way too full for dessert!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and service! Our food was outstanding, great dining experience in the heart of Cape May! Will definitely be back again this summer.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding all the timeBreakfast, lunch or dinner, you can be assured of an outstanding meal. Great neighborhood restaurant in Cape May N.J.
BYOB so although the entrees were a little high my favorite bottle of red cost $8.99!!!!! You can't beat that.
Food, service and noise level were all perfect! They even give you a sample of sherbet to clean your pallet after the salad, which is also included in the meal!! Great gem.
Thanks!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Dinner! My wife and I were celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary in Cape May, and we went to Tisha's at the recommendation of a friend. Needless to say, we're glad we did--the service, the food, and the atmosphere were all spectacular. We'll definitely stop by next time we're in town!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM15th Wedding Anniversary DinnerTisha's delivered for a place that was considered casual fine dining! Staff was polite, ambiance was great down to white tablecloths. My wife had a creamy mushroom risotto and I had seared scallops with a heartier risotto for starters. Simple house salad of simple mixed greens, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, dressed with a lite balsamic vinaigrette. My wife then finished with the Chicken Pasquale served over rice. She raved about it, however, the portion was huge and she could not finish. We did take it home with us. I had a blackened tuna steak topped with sauteed spinach, roasted red pepper, and warm goat cheese, served over mashed potatoes and all drizzled with balsamic vinegar reduction. Creme brulee, just ok. Dinner was superb!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBest restaurant in Cape May!My husband and I ate at Tisha's for the first time on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. It is now our favorite restaurant in Cape May5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMServer made things rightMy husband and I had dinner at Tisha's on May 2nd. Our waitress Natalie was very nice though she did forget to bring us our house salads before serving the entree. She comped us two desserts to make up for this which was very kind of her. The lobster mac and cheese app was delicious and my husband's hangar steak was tasty and tender. I had the pork which was good but the serving was huge and I could not finish it. We would definitely come back to Tisha's again.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMBest in Cape May!!!!Great as always. The restaurant is comfortable, the staff were wonderful & accomodating.
