  • "Tisha's goes out of their way to make your dining experience an excellent one. So happy I chose Tisha's for the celebration of a birthday. They couldn't have been more accommadating, and the food was superb!!!! Thank you for the great service and for turning the night into a pleasurable evening."

  • "Even though Tisha's has been in Cape May for a long time, it's a new discovery for us. We ate there with family back in June and returned with another couple the other night. I ordered the fried oysters (an appetizer on the menu, but they'll serve as an entree upon request). They were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside--in other words--perfect! Our friends both ordered the salmon which comes glazed with a Thai sauce and my husband ordered the scallops. All were expertly prepared and delicious, as evidenced by all the empty plates when the server came to clear. Our friendly server, Brooke, is also the pastry chef and she didn't disappoint in either capacity. We highly recommend the bread pudding and the key lime pie."

  • "Had wonderful meal and great service by Stephanie. Quiet back patio away from mall crowd. Appetizers were excellent. Lobster risotto was packed with flavor and creamy smooth. Remember bring your own wine. Nice also no bar crowd. No bar at all."

  • "The service was good but could have been better. We were left for periods of time without anyone attending my party. When our waitress did arrive she was very accommodating. The prices for both appetizers and entrees were way to high for the portions you received. The food was superbly presented and was delicious but overpriced in my estimation. Two months ago I ordered the same special entree for one price and ordered the same entree this trip for a higher price. Not good for business. I will not be going back."

  • "Third time this week. Have been dining at Tisha's when in Cape May for many years. Having a great meal never gets old. Consistently good."

  • "We went early due to availability and we had a 5yr old with us. The staff was very attentive and informative. The excellent waitress dealt with my 82 yr old hard of hearing father and my 5yr old beautifully. Food was expensive but worth it!"

  • "Good food, prepared well at a reasonable price. BYOB adds to the value. Solid breakfast, lunch and dinner menu."

  • "Tisha's is a must when visiting Cape May. Breakfast, Lunch, or Diner you can count on a great meal. Quality food and a great staff."

  • "Very nice welcome when we entered the restaurant. Greeted by the server who told us about the specials and uncorked our wine. Dinner was cordial, we weren't rushed, and had plenty of time for dessert and coffee. The portions were the perfect size and very tasty."

  • "Great menu. The interesting treat / surprise was a dish of sorbet before the entree."

  • "This was the best meal we had in cape may in the 5 days we were there. I had a seafood risotto and my wife had a seafood pasta dish. Both excellent. It is byo so bring something you like to drink or you will overpay for a Local Cape May wine. Enjoy. It is located in the Washington street mall but don't let that fool you. It is really good."

  • "Delicious and awesome food awaits you at Tisha's. More than once we've brought our guests here and they have raved about their meals months later!"

  • "My boyfriend and I went for the first time with his family and the food was amazing. Our server was really sweet and very accommodating for his two young nieces. Overall a really great experience. And the seafood pasta special was so good!!"

  • "Would recommend Tisha's, everything about dining there was excellent!"

  • "First trip to Tisha's and it deserves the good reviews. We wanted to sit outside but it was breezy evening with chance of rain. The hostess suggested an outside table facing Carpenter Lane. It was great area, quieter than Washington Street mall tables with the tables nicely spaced. Service and food were excellent, my husband had the salmon special and I had halibut special. Both were delicious. It is BYOB. This was our first visit but will definitely return and share with friends."

  • "Excellent food served by knowledgeable staff in a perfect Cape May setting. Their signature halibut dish is perfection."

  • "I made a reservation here based on recommendations from Opentable but it did not meet my expectations. I ordered the Halibut Special for $41. It was very bland, no flavor at all. It came sitting on top of mash potatoes that tasted and consisted like they came from a can. Just gross. The service was fair, but there was a loud phone in the dining room that I believe came from the hostess stand that was annoying. It's a shame because it is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with a great location, but for myself the food has to come first and I was thoroughly disappointed."

  • "Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! We sat outside which we enjoyed because its right on Jackson st."

  • "The front and back covered porches offer great outdoor dining options. Plenty of room to move with lots to see. The food is wonderful!. We ate breakfast here twice during our week's vacation, as well as dinner for my birthday. Each meal was well prepared, nicely presented and delicious. Definitely worth the price. I would definitely recommend Tisha's to anyone while in Cape May. *They are also open after the summer season, which is plus."

  • "I came in with my sister the other evening and had a great meal. This is my 2nd time at Tisha's. We did not order from the wine list since she is expecting and I was just going to have water, but I usually BYOB.The waitress did ask several times if we wanted wine (not pushy about it, but was asked a few times). We had the scallop app which was delish. Our entrees were good. I had the filet, asked for medrare, it came medwell (hardly pink). The last time I had the filet there was more cheese on top, this time it was skimpy. The waitress didn't come over to check on us until we were almost finished our meals, also no one came over to fill waters till they were empty.I'm sure I will be back, but I do prefer the Filet at other restaurants in town."

  • "The wait staff was knowledgeable and cheerful. The food was skillfully and innovatively prepared using fresh ingredients and a delightful combination of flavors. We went for lunch and were convinced to try dinner a day later. Both lunch and dinner were a real treat. The BYOB status is a draw back."

  • "except in the height of the summer season. Tisha's was already out of the two dishes we wanted/were looking forward to at 7:30! Service was a little slow. I think those problems must have been because of the Fourth of July week crowds but disappointing nonetheless. Also, the noise level was certainly up from what we're used to. In spite of these criticisms,I enjoyed the entree I did have; our server kept us informed about the timing on our meals; and,we had time to sit and chat with friends. We go to Tisha's several times a year when we're in Cape May and that certainly won't change."

  • "Fried Calamari was fried but with sauce already on it when served was mushy and not crunchy at all. Seafood Entree with pasta, mussels, scallops, shrimp and clams was sandy."

  • "My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time while staying in Cape May. We both enjoyed our food choices; appetizers and entrees were delicious. We ate inside; however if you enjoy people watching, ask for a table outside and you can enjoy the passersby along the Washibgton Mall."

  • "My boyfriend and I tried Tisha's for dinner as a special treat to ourselves while on vacation. We had a hard time finding it because the location had moved years ago, but Google had sent us to the original location first. But dinner was delicious - I had shrimp and crab cakes and he had the pasta Lauren - both dishes were fantastic. The lobster mac and cheese as an appetizer was also very good and the strawberry mascarpone shortcake desert was fabulous. I highly recommend Tisha's for a special night - be sure to bring your own wine because the wines they have are a bit pricey."

  • "We make our reservations for Tisha's before we leave home. The food is great. I ate the scrumptious filet. The service and atmosphere just make the experience complete. We're going back a second time, as we normally do. My wife wants the seafood special, I think I'll try the pork chop! You can't miss Tisha's when you come to Cape May!"

  • "We dined at Tisha's this past Saturday (July 5th) and it was another great meal. This is our fifth time eating there and each time has been great service and excellent food. I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't eaten at Tisha's give it a try when they are in Cape May."

  • "We ate dinner at 3 different restaurants during our mini vacation. Tisha's was the best experience because the food was fresh and tasted as it should taste. Everything went very well. We also had lunch at 5 West the next day, and that experience was fine also."

  • "Upscale dining experience. My husband & I ordered cajun fried oysters and mussels in a red sauce; two dishes we normally do not order. We were not disappointed! That was the appetizer. Then came the Thai salmon for my husband & the halibut special for me. Both dishes were delicious! The wait staff were very attentive & professional. We will definately go back."

  • "In town on business and Tisha's was recommended. Had a reservation for later in the evening but our meeting ended early and when I stopped in they were happy to seat us early on the back porch...lovely table on a beautiful evening. Food was outstanding and one of the best I have had while traveling on business in many years. My colleague and I shared an app, each had salad and entree and wrapped up the meal by sharing a dessert...no alcohol as we had more work ahead that night. Our bill totaled $109 before tip which we felt was a great price for the food and excellent service. Highly recommend!"

  • "This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. My 17 and 15 year old kids enjoyed it as much as my husband and I. We have been coming to capemay for 10 years and Tisha's has now become one of our favorite places to eat"

  • "What a great food experience, the fried calamari is a must try, but be ready for something different not usual. Wish though for the legs. The gnocchi were heavenly. Light fluffy pillows of pasta. I had the crab cake with shrimp and crab meat, it was sensational! Still thinking about it. A lovely place with a great understanding of food. If you forget a bottle of wine they have a list of local wines that is reasonable . I love the dining room, very comfortable."

  • "The lobster ravioli was amazing, with succulent shrimp and delicate lump crab in a rich sauce. Truly divine. The atmosphere was energetic on a Saturday night in late June. The decor is tasteful and subdued with dove grey walls with soft white trim, formal table settings with lotus shaped tea lights flickering. It is BYOB but there is a selection of local winery offerings available. Key lime pie and flour-less chocolate were also both stellar."
