  • "Great byo spot always come here when we are in cape may or wildwood"

  • "The wait staff was knowledgeable and cheerful. The food was skillfully and innovatively prepared using fresh ingredients and a delightful combination of flavors. We went for lunch and were convinced to try dinner a day later. Both lunch and dinner were a real treat. The BYOB status is a draw back."

  • "My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time while staying in Cape May. We both enjoyed our food choices; appetizers and entrees were delicious. We ate inside; however if you enjoy people watching, ask for a table outside and you can enjoy the passersby along the Washibgton Mall."

  • "Fried Calamari was fried but with sauce already on it when served was mushy and not crunchy at all. Seafood Entree with pasta, mussels, scallops, shrimp and clams was sandy."

  • "My boyfriend and I tried Tisha's for dinner as a special treat to ourselves while on vacation. We had a hard time finding it because the location had moved years ago, but Google had sent us to the original location first. But dinner was delicious - I had shrimp and crab cakes and he had the pasta Lauren - both dishes were fantastic. The lobster mac and cheese as an appetizer was also very good and the strawberry mascarpone shortcake desert was fabulous. I highly recommend Tisha's for a special night - be sure to bring your own wine because the wines they have are a bit pricey."

  • "We make our reservations for Tisha's before we leave home. The food is great. I ate the scrumptious filet. The service and atmosphere just make the experience complete. We're going back a second time, as we normally do. My wife wants the seafood special, I think I'll try the pork chop! You can't miss Tisha's when you come to Cape May!"

  • "Tisha's is awesome. What not to like. The food is delicious and presented in such a beautiful manner. The hostess is very cordial and the waitress could not do enough for us. We dine there every time in Cape May and will continue to do so."

  • "We dined at Tisha's this past Saturday (July 5th) and it was another great meal. This is our fifth time eating there and each time has been great service and excellent food. I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't eaten at Tisha's give it a try when they are in Cape May."

  • "Best restaurant in Jersey shore. Food is excellent and always consistent."

  • "We ate dinner at 3 different restaurants during our mini vacation. Tisha's was the best experience because the food was fresh and tasted as it should taste. Everything went very well. We also had lunch at 5 West the next day, and that experience was fine also."

  • "My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Tisha's while visiting Cape May. Both of our entrees were seafood-based and included generous quantities of very fresh, very tasty seafood with minimal fillers. The included salad was great as well. The setting and service were also wonderful. I would go back in a minute and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape May."

  • "Upscale dining experience. My husband & I ordered cajun fried oysters and mussels in a red sauce; two dishes we normally do not order. We were not disappointed! That was the appetizer. Then came the Thai salmon for my husband & the halibut special for me. Both dishes were delicious! The wait staff were very attentive & professional. We will definately go back."

  • "In town on business and Tisha's was recommended. Had a reservation for later in the evening but our meeting ended early and when I stopped in they were happy to seat us early on the back porch...lovely table on a beautiful evening. Food was outstanding and one of the best I have had while traveling on business in many years. My colleague and I shared an app, each had salad and entree and wrapped up the meal by sharing a dessert...no alcohol as we had more work ahead that night. Our bill totaled $109 before tip which we felt was a great price for the food and excellent service. Highly recommend!"

  • "This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. My 17 and 15 year old kids enjoyed it as much as my husband and I. We have been coming to capemay for 10 years and Tisha's has now become one of our favorite places to eat"

  • "Received a gift card to Tisha's for my birthday. Never expected such delicious food and great service! Will return soon. If my Italian husband and picky daughter enjoyed their dinners, it's a 4 Star rating."

  • "it was too cold in there...it took awhile to get our food"

  • "What a great food experience, the fried calamari is a must try, but be ready for something different not usual. Wish though for the legs. The gnocchi were heavenly. Light fluffy pillows of pasta. I had the crab cake with shrimp and crab meat, it was sensational! Still thinking about it. A lovely place with a great understanding of food. If you forget a bottle of wine they have a list of local wines that is reasonable . I love the dining room, very comfortable."

  • "Food was excellent; ambience was nice; really solid local restaurant...selection of entres could be better but overall good dining experience"

  • "Been dining at Tisha's for several years and it just gets better and better. I have such difficulty choosing my meal cause everything is always delicious! Most all the apps are amazing!! I suggest everyone tries it cause I would be surprised if you don't enjoy."

  • "The lobster ravioli was amazing, with succulent shrimp and delicate lump crab in a rich sauce. Truly divine. The atmosphere was energetic on a Saturday night in late June. The decor is tasteful and subdued with dove grey walls with soft white trim, formal table settings with lotus shaped tea lights flickering. It is BYOB but there is a selection of local winery offerings available. Key lime pie and flour-less chocolate were also both stellar."

  • "We've been going to Tisha's Fine Dining for years and it gets better and better (if that is possible). It is a family owned restaurant where the people really care that you are enjoying the food. The wait staff as well as the owners greet guests with respect and friendliness. I don't know another family that works so hard to please their clients."

  • "My sisters, cousin and Mom do a "ladies only" Cape May trip every year. We tried Tisha's three years ago and it has become an annual tradition. This year we started our trip with dinner and ended our trip with breakfast. Both meals were excellent. The food is always great and the service is friendly. It is one of our favorite places."

  • "While vacationing in Cape May with family we dined at Tisha's. The service was outstanding and very attentive, even on a busy night. The food was superb from the barbecue shrimp bruschetta to the Puttanesca sauce. Our entire family loves it! We will definitely be back on our next visit."

  • "Nice find in Cape May. This was our first and not last visit. Good and service were wonderful. Can't wait to try it again'"

  • "We found the waitress was very hurried. She poured our wine as soon as she opened it without asking if we wanted it chilled. She was friendly but not attentive. Rushed. Food was good but not great. I got the halibut with clams and curry sauce. But the sauce was just ok. I get better curry sauce from a frozen curry dish from trader joes. The BEST restaurant in Cape May on Washington Square for us is Cuccina The Service there is attentive and the food is exceptional."

  • "Nice dinner menu - food was quite good. No real options for kids."

  • "The food and service were wonderful. Enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary and would recommend it for a special romantic occasion."
    Dined on 6/22/2014
  • "A mystery that the "small plate" risotto would indeed offer 4 nice scallops but such a begrudgingly and obviously small portion of risotto...taking the small plate thing too far? To define the lunch menu? The fried oyster po' boy. Where was the pepper mayo? Why salt the fries to an extreme in the kitchen (with a visibly abundant amount of sea salt) and also decide how much pepper I want? A slow kitchen. With not many people outside in front of the restaurant where we sat for a Friday 1:30 PM lunch and not many patrons inside or out back either: on the verge of a 20 minute food wait. It's these disconnects that made Tisha's for us (party of 2) almost very good."

  • "Recommended bu the Peanut Butter Shop owner. Very intimate and the food was fantastic! I had the Filet and my wife the Gnocci. The clams in red were crazy good. Remember to BYOB."
    Dined on 6/19/2014
  • "The food was excellent and served at the proper time and temperature. We were forced to ask the server for bread at the beginning of the meal and that seemed to heighten her attentiveness."
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "Definitely would recommend this place. It's pricey but definitely well worth for it for a special occasion. The crab cake and the lobster ravioli were delicious and really exceeded our expectations. Just don't forget to byob! There's a liquor store around the corner. Great food!"

  • "This was my first experience for dinner. I have some dietary needs which were met without any problem. Our wait person was very friendly and knowledgable. I look forward to dining there again soon!"

  • "This is our favorite restaurant in Cape May. The food and service are simply perfection."

  • "We have been to Tishas many times. On the last two visits, the food, as always was excellent, but the service was much too slow. Our dinner took over two hours! We were sitting there for long periods with nothing to do and nothing to eat. Tishas is clearly the top restaurant in town but they need to tend to business. Will we return? I'm not sure - there are many other options."

  • "Tisha's has been a mainstay for years and with relocation, much larger. Friendly service, with reservation honored. Inside dining room at front is a big disappointment. Lousy layout, noisy, no vestibule, and as we were next to entrance, noisy and distracting. Hard to hear dinner companions- party of 3. Food was above average, so, in combination with good friendly service, will return. Second home owners in Cape May, who were disappointed in past, but much improved now."

  • "Although we have been going to Cape May for many years, we had never eaten at Tishas. It's pricey but the food is great and we will definitely return. They had a shrimp bruschetta appetizer thar was to die for. I had the seafood risotto which was outstanding and my husband went for the halibut which he loved. We ate inside and enjoyed the the ambiance ."

  • "Our meal was very good. I was slightly disappointed in the lack of pepper flavor in the peppercorn filet and the meat itself wasn't melt-in-your-mouth tender but it was good. My wife had a special seafood pasta with red sauce which was very good. The little neck clams in the thai curry sauce was terrific."
