Tisha'sWonderful Romantic celebrationWe went to Tisha's for our 37th anniversary. We went midweek in May . Had not been to 'new' location. While we missed the ocean, nothing was lacking in any other respect. It was just as good as we remebered (maybe even a little better.) Tisha's lived up to the expectations everyone raves about. Cant forget about the Staff. The Staff was very friendly and on top of their game when serving you and your family. The servers and hostesses were very kind and greeted my wide with a "happy Mother's Day" at every turn. In addition the food was excellent for both the adults and kids. BYOB so although the entrees were a little high my favorite bottle of red cost $8.99!!!!! You can't beat that.
Food, service and noise level were all perfect! They even give you a sample of sherbet to clean your pallet after the salad, which is also included in the meal!! Great gem.

Needless to say, we're glad we did--the service, the food, and the atmosphere were all spectacular. Staff was polite, ambiance was great down to white tablecloths. My wife had a creamy mushroom risotto and I had seared scallops with a heartier risotto for starters. Simple house salad of simple mixed greens, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, dressed with a lite balsamic vinaigrette. My wife then finished with the Chicken Pasquale served over rice. She raved about it, however, the portion was huge and she could not finish. We did take it home with us. I had a blackened tuna steak topped with sauteed spinach, roasted red pepper, and warm goat cheese, served over mashed potatoes and all drizzled with balsamic vinegar reduction. It was the perfect way to end our "girl's" day in Cape May. Tisha's is relaxing, a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. It's nice that the restaurant is a BYOB, but also offers bottles from Cape May Winery. If you like mussels, the mussels in a curry sauce are phenomenal - so unique and delicious. I very highly recommend this restaurant. It was my first time there for dinner. The restaurant is comfortable, the staff were wonderful & accomodating. One person in our party of 4 has a seafood alergy, we looked online @the menu before booking the reservation, he wanted the filet mingon, their spring menu has it prepared w/crab meat which was a recent menu change (2days prior), we needed the order prepared the way it was listed on the prior menu, the request was met with a wonderful no problem response!! Appetizer were delicious, good portion sizes on all of the items we order. The ingredients they use are always fresh and they have interesting takes on traditional recipes. The rear room is sunny and bright during the day and leads to a pleasant patio that's a great choice for warm days. Whether we are there as a couple, with another couple, or with one of our families, the food and service are always great. The seafood is always fresh (as one might expect in a shore resort), and there are plenty of other menu choices for non-fish-lovers. Even in March, the place was pretty full. In the summer, it's full every night. So an Open Table reservation is a smart move. In-season, there's a small outdoor seating area which fronts the Cape May walking mall -- great people-watching while enjoying lunch or dinner. Brenda, our waitress was knowledgable about the food and able to discribe our options very well and assist in making our selections. The pumpkin ravioli was a delicious blend of sweet and savory that melted in your mouth. The mushroom risotto was creamy and luxurious. Our group had 2 steak dishes, a seafood dish and a veal dish and every one of them was better then the next. We saved room for dessert and chose the bread pudding and profiteroles and the profiteroles stole the show for sure! This is perhaps the best, foodwise. Unlike some other top restaurants in the city, tables are not jammed together. The food was absolutely fantastic.
