"Great experience. Deep southern country casual atmosphere. Food was true to its southern roots. BBQ pulled pork spoonbread stood out. Some of the best pulled pork I've had, and I live in a BBQ capital. Sticky bun and cheesy grits were hits as well. Subdued but friendly service."

"I really enjoy the southern cooking. The only problem is that they pack parties in right on top of each other. Not an ideal setting for a romantic dinner but the fresh-made pie is pretty special."

"We had the farro salad and their ceasar, which comes with yummy bacon, and the atlantic char and shrimp and grits. The food is a bit pricey for standard fare, but the service was very good and all was delicious!"

"This was my third time brunching at Tipsy Parson and I will continue to sing its praises. The service is lovely, attentive but not rushed. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. All of the food was delicious; I ordered the brunch special, the short rib hash (I seriously cannot resist anything involving short ribs) and a fruit cup, and my friend ordered the farmstand. We each cleaned our places (and we had biscuits, too!). The cappuccinos are strong and delicious. A pleasant surprise at the end of the meal - complimentary dessert! Some sort of delicious trifle-type concoction with cake and almonds and lovely light cream and brandy-soaked fruits. Even though we were stuffed, we obviously had to have a go at dessert. Love this place."

"The food was simply wonderful and the baked apple cinnamon concoction (that you had to pre-order at start of dinner) was one of the best desserts I'v ever had Our enthusiastic waiter could not have been nicer. Loved it."
