Tink'sCute Place in the East VillageTink's is a small cute restaurant with some really nice touches. It is american food tapas style which is great for sharing and trying different dishes. I read that their pretzel fried chicken was highly recommended however, it was not my favorite of their dishes. Their tuna sliders were really tasty. The gnocci was delicious and completely fresh. If I went back I would try their mac and cheese which looked delicious and was recommended as well. They have a small but nice beer and wine list. The servers are really friendly. Overall it was a great experience. The restaurant was a little warm but other than that it was delicious and i would go back.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat SpotAte here on a Friday evening as a couple, as part of our on-going tour round the East Village Eateries.
Food was really great - some good original dishes, and all delicious,
Service was good, friendly and genuine.
Will be back. It's a particulary good spot to go with a small group of 4+, as you can try more dishes that way - though check ahead as it is a small place.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMA really sweet placeTinks is a really small and cozy restaurant. The night I was there was a Thursday a an acoustic musician was setting up. Usually I think this is a bad sign because it might be too loud or in a small place, it may be hard to focus on your dinner conversation in a setting that small. Neither were the case. The music was a great touch and added to that intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious. We ordered 4 plates between the two of us- we are both women and it was plenty. When I bring my husband, I will order an extra. The pretzel fried chicken was awesome and a definite repeat. The Angus were ordered medium and came out perfectly.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMYes, this place is tiny. Yes,Yes, this place is tiny. Yes, we made endless Peter Pan references. However, the food was amazing! I came on a Tuesday night with my family and friends and everyone had a great time. I had the gnocchi and lobster pot pie and will be dreaming about both for weeks. Overall, Tink's is a tiny gem with charming decor and delicious food.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Brunch!I've been to Tinks for brunch twice now, and it is not to be missed. The french toast bread pudding is one of the best brunch foods I've ever had, and the pretzel chicken and waffles are excellent. I've also had the grown-up grilled cheese, which is quite good, but not as novel and delicious as the french toast.
The restaurant generally has open seats, but you may as well make a reservation to guarantee a spot. In addition to being delicious, one of the best parts of Tinks is that you can get a table without waiting an hour.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMTasty tasty food!I was looking for a place that would accomodate a group of 7 and Tink's had the reservation and space for 7 people. Even if Open Table doesnt show a certain reservation time, you should still call them up because they might still be able to seat you and accomodate you. The music in this place is really good and its a place that I would love to go on a date at. The food can all be shared, but we opted to each get 2 dishes of our own.The food was really delicious and you will have a great time! The place is quite cozy, but fun :)5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMTink's was exactly what ITink's was exactly what I was looking for: an adorable spot with a delicious brunch menu. We really enjoyed our stop there and will be returning for dinner at some point!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMA local neighborhood gemA small local neighborhood gem, Tink's is a great place for ordering multiple tapas and sharing. Had enough variety to satisfy the carnivores and vegetarian amongst us. Service was great, live music hit the spot, we would definitely come back.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat family run restaurant.Great family run restaurant. Amazing comfort food. Great beer list. Can't wait to go back!4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolute delightTink's serves American tapas, a novel concept and quite well executed. I brought my parents and family friends here and everyone enjoyed themselves on the Mac and cheese, sliders, pork belly, grilled cheese, pretzel chicken... Basically everything was delicious and served so cute (cast iron skillets all around). The service was attentive but not suffocating and the flair with the check (they give it to you tucked in a book) was absolutely charming.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a decent size group (11pplHad a decent size group (11ppl in place that seats about 25) for brunch on Sunday. Service excellent, food was very good and the place is cute & cozy. The shrimp and grits and Cobb salad seemed to be the favorites. I would definitely come back.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch here is a MUST!!!We reserved a table for a group of six and everything went smoothly and everyone left happy. The brunch selection was amazing! Chicken and waffles, French toast bread pudding with bacon maple syrup - OMG! Yum! Not only was the food delicious the staff was on top of their game - super nice, helpful, ninja-like water refills skills, and we felt welcomed and not rushed. I will be coming back here!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat place and our waitergreat place and our waiter was awesome. felt like there could be better wine choices and wine is a bit pricy for what it is, but the beer menu is great.12/7/2012 12:00:00 AM
