A word from Tina's
We're celebrating our 22th Year in Sunny Dundee by doing what we do best. cooking memorable meals for our friends and neighbors. Welcome to sunny Dundee!

We opened Tina's in October 1991, after cooking in Portland for over 10 years. We have a small bar, two intimate dining rooms separated by a fireplace; we seat 50 guests.
Our search for locally grown, organic foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers, ranchers and fisherman. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context, flavor and experience that is unbeatable.

We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow. The wines that we feature are from just up the hill; our staff has a deep knowledge of this place. Our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year.

  • "Our group of six recently had a lovely dining experience at Tina's. The fresh NW fare was impressive and we all gave it high marks for freshness, taste and presentation. This should definitely be on your list of places to dine when in Yamhill County. After dining several different places during our 2 days in the valley and being very disappointed with the noise level in restaurants, Tina's was a more than pleasant evening. We were actually able to carry on conversation without shouting... a rarity these days."

  • "We arrived at 5pm withuch anticipation of a great meal after a day of wine tasting in the Dundee Hills. We enjoyed an appetizer of bruschetta and ordered our meals. The bruschetta was very flavorful, heirloom te very tasty. Perfect! Bring your own wine, the wines were okay. I order the duck and was underwhelmed. The side dish of I think polenta was hard and dry. My husband and friends ordered the filet of beef. The beef was tender and tasty but the sauce was over whelming. Service okay. I ordered a wine which never came. For a Saturday night, it was not crowded at all. Should have been hopping. Sorry to see this place just be okay as we enjoyed meals there in the past we have considered special."

  • "We read reviews that praised Tina's-perhaps our expectations were too high. The service was attentive, yet not overbearing. The meal played out at a nice pace, not pushy nor too slow.Our server was helpful with suggestions for other restaurants & wineries in the region. The winelist is extensive, naturally many Oregon Pinot Noir's. We thoroughly enjoyed a 2011 Domaine Serene Yamhill Cuvee. The salmon spring roll appetizer was nicely done, crispy, but the hazelnut sauce was a mismatch for me. Hubby had the sturgeon special and found it too salty, but nice presentation. The beef short ribs were fork tender, but a bit too salty also. Kale was cooked nicely but lay in oil at bottom of dish. Can't recommend, but may try again to see improvement."

  • "A leisurely lunch on a Friday in Wine Country! I almost need not say another word! Tina has been offering fine bistro dishes for many years and she continues today. The pork loin sandwich was enjoyed by several of us and two of us thought the duck risotto wonderful. Fine Oregon Pinot list also. Go Dine Enjoy !"

  • "Great menu and very tasty food. Service was awsome and friendly. I had the fried oysters and caprese salad with grill fresh peaches. We also had the pork belly, which had a fruit compote...all excellent. The Chinook salmon was outstanding with a nice crispy skin served on a bed of nicely cooked grains. Dessert was a fresh blueberry and peach cobbler. Great wine list as well. Try the Siltstone Pinot noir from a local Dundee vineyard."

  • "Everything was perfect. We started with the fried oysters. Next, I had the corn soup and my wife had the house salad. For entrees, I had line caught salmon and my wife had the souffle. For desert, we shared the creme brulee. All were excellent. The service was excellant. The only advicethat may be useful when going is beware that the wine list is high end. They will allow you to bring in a bottle with a corkage fee applied."

  • "I have been to Tina's many times; recently took food-serious friends from New Orleans and we all loved everything about the meal and the experience. Elegant enough, unfussy in all the right ways; service competent and friendly. Started with the salmon spring rolls and lightly pan fried Willapa Bay oysters, and a fine pinot noir; sweet corn soup, salad (NO dried/candied anything!). Kitchen hit all the right flavor notes in every dish, including 2 beautifully wrapped, perfectly rendered veggie tamales with a black bean and corn salsa and a creamy, spicy salsa verde. Friends had rack of lamb and beef short ribs, both superb. Warm peach-blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream and good coffee to finish. Yums and smiles all around."

  • "this was our second visit, probably 3 years apart. First time we were the only ones in the restaurant. we thought maybe we had dined too early. this time we made reservations at 7:00. Still the only diners for the first 20 minutes. During the course of our dinner only 6 people in the entire restaurant. Don't know how they stay in business. It should be busier than that, it's a good restaurant."

  • "Tina's is a small quaint restaurant in Dundee, OR that provides your taste buds with exciting combinations of flavors. The entrees are few but whatever you choose you will not be disappointed. My wife and I went to Tina's for her birthday and had the beef tenderloin and the rack of lamb. Both were amazing presentations with a generous helping of veggies. We had dessert and enjoyed the time sipping on coffee. I had an excellent red that the hostess recommended- the wine list is very good. Excellent venue for a romantic dinner- although the restaurant is loud when full of patrons. We have gone before and will continue to go on special occasions."

  • "5 stars on the tastes great scale. Don't miss the olive Bruschetta. Absolutely delicious and topped with grilled pear. I had a phenomenal piece of Tuna that I saw flapping around coming ut I'd a pick up teuck onthe way in. holly had rack of lamb that was memorable. After a day of wine tasting I was happy with just a glass, and ur waiter, a life time resident of the valley, offered a blind tasting for which to choose. That doesn't happen in L A!"

  • "Northwest Salmon spring rolls introduced a smooth and tasty warm, not hot or cold, pea soup, which led to blackened Chinook on a bed of pea-vines and barley (?): fresh and cooked just right. I'm neither a cook nor a gourmet, but I enjoyed a fine meal accompanied by a nice local wine, served by friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere."

  • "Every so often I am hungry for a steak. I have to say that their beef tenderloin was outstanding! It was tender, moist and very flavorful. I was served braised greens and asparagus in place of potatoes - again delicious! The salad was simple but very fresh and tasty. I like that they use organic and high quality ingredients. The pace was relaxed and I felt comfortable dining solo. Will definitely dine there again."

  • "Starters: Fresh pea soup, vegetable broth, mint oil, fresh tarragon, Local Willapa Bay oysters breaded and pan fried in butter with a sorrel mayonnaise and lemon wedge. Main courses: Lamb stew braised in red wine, with large white beans, vegetables, scrumptious, and Risotto with tender duck confit, pancetta, mushrooms, asparagus, incredible rich flavor We chose glasses of 2009 Bergen and 2012 Ayres Perspective WV Pinot Noir, both excellent. Hearty whole wheat bread/butter. We rated the meal an A+. Chef/Winemaker Bergenshowed me how he pulverized the peas raw, and sifted through a food mill, then added the fresh peas to cooked vegetable stock/potatoes. It was the freshest, best pea soup we had ever tasted. Best meal of 8 week trip!"

  • "The food is great. Fresh ingredients, creative menu - chef is willing to take risks, which is exciting. The service was shockingly bad. Our waitress could not describe the dishes except to say that they are delicious. She seemed really dumb. When our wine arrived, she tasted our wine for us!! And, she poured herself a huge pour - probably 2 ounces!! We were in shock. Then she had the gall to comment on our wine! Unbelievably inappropriate. Then a large table arrived and she forgot all about us. She recited the desserts like a grocery list. We passed on dessert. She finally brings our bill and someone else takes our card, but doesn't run it. After 15 minutes, we got up and went to the front. That waitress totally ruined our special evening."

  • "Tina's restaurant was not crowded but the service was slow. Oysters were really tasty for an app but didn't care much for the aioli. Lamb served with bland giant super sized limas. Salmon was ok but not spectacular. Waitress was very kind and even gave us a piece of cake to share when we declined on dessert. (Though the pickled rhubarb didn't do it for me.) "

  • "Met a friend for dinner. We lingered for over two hours because we had a lot to catch up on. Server didn't seem thrilled about that, although there were lots of empty tables throughout the evening so we weren't keeping anyone from their dinner. The salmon was superb: tasty and moist with incredible veggies. The skin was done to crispy perfection, so I ate that, too (and I never eat fish skin). Got a $20 certificate off on the next two entrees I order there, and there's no expiration date on the certificate, either, which I think is classy. Biggest complaint was the mild irritation I detected from our server for staying so long AND Tina's exorbitant corkage fee: $20! In the middle of wine country, no less."

  • "It was our first night in the Willamette Valley and we chose Tina's because it was close to the B&B we were staying in! We had no expectations just looking for a nice meal. I had the duck breast and I have say I have had duck in England, France in 3 Michelin star restaurants and it never came close to this! Both my husband and I thought it was the best meal we have had in ages. The waitress helped us with our wine paring with two different pinot noir's and they were yummy. We loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day and the food was just perfect all over again! Can't wait till our next trip to Dundee Oregon!!!"

  • "Our experience from start to finish was superb! Michael, our server, took such great care of us. From seating us at the most romantic table in front of the fireplace, to recommending the best appetizers (Willapa Bay Oysters & Salmon spring rolls) and exquisite entrees. His service was perfect and very nicely paced. We took our time and lingered over appetizers and a cocktail, and then on to soup (Potato Leek-amazing) and the Duck, which was executed to perfection and served atop a bed of risotto that was delicious! Paired with a perfect Pinot Noir and all I can say is that we can't wait to come back!"
