A word from Tina's
We're celebrating our 22th Year in Sunny Dundee by doing what we do best. cooking memorable meals for our friends and neighbors. Welcome to sunny Dundee!

We opened Tina's in October 1991, after cooking in Portland for over 10 years. We have a small bar, two intimate dining rooms separated by a fireplace; we seat 50 guests.
Our search for locally grown, organic foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers, ranchers and fisherman. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context, flavor and experience that is unbeatable.

We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow. The wines that we feature are from just up the hill; our staff has a deep knowledge of this place. Our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year.

Diner Reviews
  • "It was our first night in the Willamette Valley and we chose Tina's because it was close to the B&B we were staying in! We had no expectations just looking for a nice meal. I had the duck breast and I have say I have had duck in England, France in 3 Michelin star restaurants and it never came close to this! Both my husband and I thought it was the best meal we have had in ages. The waitress helped us with our wine paring with two different pinot noir's and they were yummy. We loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day and the food was just perfect all over again! Can't wait till our next trip to Dundee Oregon!!!"

  • "Our experience from start to finish was superb! Michael, our server, took such great care of us. From seating us at the most romantic table in front of the fireplace, to recommending the best appetizers (Willapa Bay Oysters & Salmon spring rolls) and exquisite entrees. His service was perfect and very nicely paced. We took our time and lingered over appetizers and a cocktail, and then on to soup (Potato Leek-amazing) and the Duck, which was executed to perfection and served atop a bed of risotto that was delicious! Paired with a perfect Pinot Noir and all I can say is that we can't wait to come back!"

  • "We ate at Tina's several years ago and it was great. Usually don't go out to eat on Valentine's Day, but were going to be in the area so made reservations. It's difficult to compare an ordinary evening to Valentine's. The food was as great as we remembered and service was good, but felt a little rushed. Waitress was going to check with chef about the seasoning used on a side dish. She didn't. The tables seemed closer together than we remembered. Maybe for the holiday or maybe i"ve forgotten. House salad was simple, but perfectly dressed. Duck with green peppercorn was also done perfectly. My spouse had the short ribs and he was happy enough, that I didn't get a taste! Next time we are in the area, we will definitely go again."

  • "Nice restaurant but a little expensive. The main dish (duck breast) was outstanding and so was the ribs. The soup was delicious. The only detractor was that the accompanying items were not up to the quality of the meat portion. With a change in that I would recommend it but, for now, the price is too high. That should be an easy fix."

  • "The restaurant was excellent! Great ambiance and incredible food! My only complaints were that the tables are very close together, and the server set down a dessert menu without asking if we wanted it. It would have been fine, but she didn't come back for about 20 minutes. We didn't want dessert, and were ready to leave, but couldn't without the check of course. She apologized for the wait, and handled it well though. We will definitely be going back again."

  • "Ambiance was quiet, cozy, and elegant. Service was attentive, warm, professional and without pretension. Salmon TroisGros was superb; house salad with perfectly prepared vinaigrette, which we find is a rarity. Very special place."

  • "We were at Tina's last year for Vaentine's Day and had a fabulous meal. This time we had to hunt someone down to get water, waited forever for a waiter, and the food was mediocre at best. Our salmon rolls were overcooked and dry. They changed the recipe of their beef short ribs, to a more italian style tomato sauce and polenta bars that were burnt. The sauce was overrun by capers, and very salty and vinegary. Not a fan. Anyway, probably won't make the 30 mile trek next year. Sorry Tina's."

  • "We live in Las Vegas so comparatively speaking I wouldn't call this a "hot spot", but it was a nice choice for a special occasion. The food was excellent. We like the low key atmosphere and the attentive staff. For this area it is an elegant restaurant."

  • "We have dined at this establishment for many years. Chose to enjoy my birthday with dinner at this great Dundee restaurant. Food was fantastic, service excellent, and the ambience was warm and welcoming with the fire place glowing and the lights low. First course was the butternut squash soup... thick, velvety, and just the right amount of spice... delicious! I had the scallops - cooked perfectly - the only thing missing was a straw to consume every last drop of the delightful sauce! My wife had steak... her favorite... and it did not disappoint... even the brussel sprouts were awesome... not an easy feat! Desert was some creme brulee... a great finish to a memorable meal!"

  • "Our ladies group of 5 (semi annual get-together) dined at Tina's. First, the service was outstanding - though a little slow to first come to the table (she was the only server), once she arrived she did not disappoint. She offered a bit of history on the wine we chose and advised us that our choice was good. The entree came with soup or salad. I commented that we would love to try both and she replied, "Ok, I can have you try both"!. So we all were given a small bowl of soup and salad with dinner. We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer (boring, I know) and it was out of this world; this was not a typical bruschetta. This was a wonderful dinner with great friends. I would not hesitate to return."

  • "Thank you for once again providing us and our friends with a spectacular Christmas meal. Tina's is a sure thing for us; we can always count on a fabulous meal and great service. We had the table in front of the fireplace which made it even better! We can't wait to come back."

  • "No usual stuff here. The salmon spring rolls and dipping sauce was very unusual and tasty - one of those dishes where you take a bite and let the flavors play. The tamales, sauces and quinoa salad were delicious."

  • "the food was good, but seemed to have lost its sparkle. Others must be feeling the same thing. We got there at a quarter to qw, and no one else came in until we were almost ready to leave at 12:45."

  • "Comfortable, warm and inviting. Lovely fireside seating too. The dishes are creative and solid. Had rockfish on this evening with roasted cauliflower that was marvelous. Husband had the braised beef short ribs that had a killer sauce. Clean plates all around! Friendly staff and it's always good to come back here. Old home-week in wine country."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at Tina's on Nov 15. My wife had the goat cheese bruschetta as a starter and the rack of lamb, I had the salmon spring rolls and the filet. The food and the service was excellent, as was the wine list. Our table was next to the gas fireplace which was a welcome comfort on a cold, damp evening."

  • "Since 20+ years, Tina's serves great food. Let the Portland foodies enjoy their fast-paced turnover of the newest hippest craziest food concepts in fast order. We like it a bit quieter in the Valley - there is value in consistency."

  • "We just arrived in the Willamette Valley driving through heavy traffic and rain from the Portland Airport. Ater traveling most of the day we were hungry and decided to stop for dinner before checking in to our hotel. The restaurant was not busy and we had our choice of tables. My wife ordered Swordfish and I had Short Ribs of Beef. We both had a curried carrot soup fist. Both dinners were very very good. I had two glasses of Bergen Pinot Noir and my wife one glass. The wine was delicious and complimented our meals very well. All told it was a highly enjoyable meal that was well prepared. The service was excellent and it was a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend Tina's to those looking for a somewhat upscale place for Dinner."

  • "Having dined at Tina's on a few occasions in the past, I would say the quality has consistently remained high. The corn soup was velvety smooth and creamy without any cream added to it, so were the variety of sandwiches ordered by our group, notably the grilled vegetable sandwich on a Pearl bakery ciabatta bun."

  • "We visit Tina's a couple of times a year for special events. This time we were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. Food is always excellent and service good. Sad they were out of the bread pudding for dessert but never get a bad meal! One of our favorite restaurants by far!"

  • "Tina's has excellent food, lovely service and a pleasant unassuming atmosphere. The corn soup was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The duck was terrific. My husband's salmon was the best he had ever had. Everything was enhanced by an extensive wine list, showcasing the local willamette valley vintages. I highly recommend Tina's."

  • "It was very busy, so the kitchen may have been stressed to keep up. The food presentation was excellent, the preparation or in the case of the beef dishes, overall quality was off due to excessive fat. Yes, of course, we will go back."
