example - pasta fra diabolo - mussels, shrimp, clams, scallops and homemade pasta made with squid ink. It was so good. They have
great pizza, excellent desserts and all in all you go away feeling very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Try it out I'm sure you will like it.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBetter than Ever!!Better than ever! We had not eaten at Timo for a while and our recent experience jump started our desire to go more often. Our server was knowledgable and pleasant. he introduced us to a new vodka and was extremely conversant and enthusiastic in his praise. So much so that he brought a tasting to the table and we agreed !
Everythingwas flav orful and fresh...from the beets to the roasted brussel sprouts ( the best I have ever eaten ) to the squid ink pasta and bronzino.
There is always staff to clear plates, replace utensils.......never had to ask or look for assistance. Our waiter was attentive through out and the Manager's visit was more than the typical hello and greet. He was personable and was genuinly interested in our experienc4/12/2013 12:00:00 AM3rd Anniv. DinnerMy fiance and I have been regulars here for a couple years, and this was our 3rd anniversary. I requested a special booth for 2 and they accomidated us even though it might've been a conflict. I ended up proposing to my gf and got a standing ovation. Aside from excellent food and service as always, the manager called me the next day to thank me for choosing Timo for our special occasion. with cappucinos all around...another great dining experience at Timo.2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been coming to TimoWe have been coming to Timo for a few years,and this season especially it was great from day one.My only complaint is that I've always ordered the tuna as it is my favourite main dish.It has transitioned from tuna with some olive tapenade ,to tuna with a full bed of olive and tomato tapenade,and finally to tuna with lovely simple grilled vegetables( my favourite) so far.However,this time the tuna was very salty and seemed to be coated in a
highly salty (MSG ??) mixture. hopefully this was accidental as my son who was with us found his tuna very salty as well.The roasted beet starter was great,and the three scoops of ice cream we chose for dessert were delicious (but on the small size).Let's hope our next visit will be better !2/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great evening at Timo'sTimo is our restaurant of choice,and so nearby.We ordered cocktails at the bar while we waited for friends to arrive and then secured our favourite
booth.Our drinks were brought to our booth and we looked over the extensive menu.We decided to share grilled octopus sliced in thin slices,and some wonderful calamari.Mouthwatering !Our mains were our favourite rare tuna now placed upon a bed of olive and tomato tapinade.and branzino delicate and moist. We succumbed to a praline tower of ice cream and carmelized banana for which we ordered 4 spoons,and washed this down with excellent coffee, the perfect ending to a perfect meal !2/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
