Great steaks and great ambiance!
Friendly staff and an eagerness to make things right. The Open Hearth fireplace is a great focal point of the main dining room and adds to the relaxed but warm atmosphere."

Steak was very tough &
under-cooked. The rest of the food was just so-so. The large fire place was very nice."

Our food was delicious, from our
appetizer all the way through our dinner. I had the lobster ravioli and it was fantastic! There were only a couple of people dining at the same time as us, and it was ideal - being right in front of the fireplace on a cold night. We love coming back, whether it is summer time and dining outdoors or winter and being by the fire!"

My husband and I have dined a few
times at Timmers. Beautiful building and ambiance. Food has slipped. Last visit was Valentine's Day. We arrived and were greeted, not by our hostess, but a nice woman handing out flowers. I received a tulip and a piece of paper. Our hostess arrived shortly after to take us to our table. At the table, the piece of paper was an invitation to experience Mary Kay cosmetics. Tacky. Our server arrived to take our drink order. Very pleasant. My husband ordered pork medallions and I had the stuffed chicken breast special. Pork was overdone. Chicken breast nice and crispy, not flavorful. The greens in the salad were wilty. The butter was refrigerator-y tasting. No salt/pepper on table. Hope things improve there."

We have eaten off the regular menu
several times and also attended a wedding at Timmers. On those occasions the food was outstanding and fresh. We have sat outside on Summer evenings and enjoyed their creative menu. The Sunday brunch was disappointing, however. We had a 12:30 seating and the restaurant closed at 1:30 so the pastries were scarce and stale. Much of the food had been sitting and was not fresh. The smoked fish (which we were all looking forward to) was dry and there was not much left of it. The omelet bar was very good. We also wish there would have been a bigger meat selection or some shrimp or seafood. There was bacon and sausage but that was about it."

I would recommend this place to
anyone. The food and service was excellent. The menu is a little more upscale and therefore does not offer some basic dinners such as shrimp or pasta. This restaurant does not have a huge menu but rather focuses on items that they do well. If you are looking for sports bar food such as onion rings, cheese curds or pizza look somewhere else."

On a cold night in a long cold
winter you are able to go in there and get warm service with warm atmosphere. Was a beautiful night."

Service was friendly and
well-paced, food was delicious, and the surroundings made for a pleasant evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary."

Excellent new year's eve fare! we
dined in luxury. It is a wonderful idea to make all new year's eve dinners a five course delight. We will be back during the year to enjoy dining during the summer months."

Set this up as a special dinner.
Disappointed that duck breast was on the menu, two of us requested it but only one left at 7:00 p.m. If it's on the menu it should be available. One of us had steak, medium rare but it was tough and gristly. Dishes were not cleared in a timely fashion. Water was not refilled until I asked. My husband and I have had great experiences in the past on the outside patio. The couple we brought along had never been there before, not sure they'll be back."

We went for the first time for
their brunch and everything was outstanding!! It was a special occasion and they did everything in their power to make it great!!!"

We've lived close by, but until a
client of ours mentioned the restaurant we had no idea of entertaining the thought of visiting. So I made a special reservation for our 20th anniversary. Needless to say we very pleased with the whole experience. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable. We sat in the front of a glowing warm fireplace and the mood was romantic. We were not rushed and enjoyed the time spent there. We plan on coming out on more special days to enjoy a great meal and ambiance.."

We went for Brunch. The food was
excellent. Servers were polite and upbeat, and not only our server, but everyone that stopped at the table to check in with us. It was a pleasurable dining experience and we will definitely be going again."

My family and I were looking for a
place to have aThanksgiving buffet. None of us had been to Timmer's before but the menu posted on line sounded good. We were not disappointed. The food was wonderful and very much like "homemade". Even though it was crowded and busy, our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who loved the dinners your mom and grandma made on Thanksgiving.....real turkey, real mashed potatoes and real stuffing! Yum! We will definitely dine at Timmer's again."

Good food, friendly staff, cozy
atmosphere at a moderate price. Ice Cream drinks for dessert! What more could you want?"

Thanks Amy for all the special
arrangements you made for us. The evening was perfecr. We sat and reflected about our Wedding reception that was held here. The property and grounds looks awesome. Our server, food, and servixe was impecab"

Coffee was lukewarm; soup served
at the same time with the dinner entree and the waitress suggested boxing it up to take home; crab legs shells were soft and hard to break; dessert was never offered; we had to ask twice for after dinner drinks, waitress was not trained well or at all. For a restaurant that wants to offer fine dining, wait staff should not be in shorts, that's pub attire. Waitress name was Ana."
