Overall, we enjoyed the menu and the charm of the place, but struggled a bit with the noise. I had a salad and my friend had a special strawberry salad. Mine had pistachios and I forget the name, but is was perfect. We shared a savory tart that I would order again. The strawberry shortcake dessert was surprisingly light. We sat by the window and watched the world go by. I am just amazed that Tilakum makes everything, even the ketchup, in house (This does not include eggs, but it might include cheese, conceivably)! One downside was that the service was a little slow, but I think this was more a product of just how freakin busy this place can get and not a product of poor service, becasue the waiter was very nice and accomodating. The restaurant has the feel of a bistro in Paris, but with wonderfully prepared dishes that reflect the Northwest. Everything was fresh and scrumptious! I had the special- crab eggs benedict on home made biscuits! The portions were perfect and the fresh squeezed grapefruit juice refreshing. So glad I booked a reservation through open table. We had a small wait but not even close to the walk-in's that had been waiting for over an hour.
