A word from Tigelleria Organic Restaurant
"A glass of Chianti, sharing food with your friends, a Fellini movie. Sometimes, to feel like you're in Italy, you don't have to be there." Traditional Northern Italian cuisine served with respect for our history, our culture, the world we live in and the one we hand on.

Diner Reviews
  • "Food is good and healthful -- some dishes sound like what you would find on other Italian menues, but there is always a bit of a twist here. Instead of our usual Chocolate Salume for dessert we tried the Meringata. Very good taste and texture. It looks small, but it is exactly the right amount to be decadent. Conversation with Ryan and Francesco is always a pleasure. "

  • "The food was not as good as expected. They brought a basket of bread along with three teaspoons filled with "vegetable purees". Both the carrot and pea purees tasted like it was straight out of baby food jars. We ordered the Panini sandwiches. They came with no sides at all - not even a side of fresh greens or potatoes, just the sandwich cut into two in the center of the plate. The steak sandwich was very greasy and meat tasted like cooked liver. Very disappointed."

  • "We went to Tigelleria for a special celebratory dinner and it was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible and totally splurge worthy. Just know you're going to forgo your diet for a night and surrender to the goodness. The charcuterie plate was enormous, the salads were amazing (highly recommend the arugula salad with the truffle oil!) and I basically embarrassed myself inhaling dessert. As a vegetarian I was 100% satisfied and had a ton of options- not the standard pasta and marinara that felt like it was off a kids menu. Legit polenta that felt like a real meal! The staff was super friendly and comfortable- it felt like we were eating at a friend's house. Great find and we'll definitely go back!"

  • "Delicious, we had a crab gnocchi that was sublime, and a tasty black lake salad. Wine list is good, Service was very attentive and friendly. We've been here half a dozen times at least, we go here a couple times a year and have only Been disappointed (noise level and service) once, food and wine are consistently excellent."

  • "My wife and I fell in love at Tigelleria (pronounced Tie-jell-er-ia), Ryan and the team take great care of their customers, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The kale salad is a must have for any meal, as is the wild boar ravioli."

  • "The service and food were spectacular! Our waiter, Ryan was knowledgeable, attentive and gracious. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, and prepared. The wine list also is extensive and bound to have just what you want!"

  • "A friend told me about this place. My girlfriend and I went for happy hour. We had a couple of yummy appetizers and drinks, but decided to try one of their meat and cheese platters too. Yummy food and drinks, great service!"

  • "Food, service, atmosphere are exceptional at every visit! Favorite restaurant in the area."

  • "Two of us had the branzino, one had boar ravioli and one had the lamb. All of us loved our food! This place is always good."

  • "The food was not very good. We ordered 4 different entrees & we did not like any of them. The portions were small, it was very expensive & we found the server very annoying & full of herself. The worst part was that they charged us $ 25 corkage fee for each bottle of wine that we brought. Also, there are very few parking spots, so we had to go to 2 different parking garages to park. I will never return to this restaurant & will never recommend it."

  • "This was our first visit to Tigelleria Organic Restaurant and what a nice surprise. It was my husbands birthday and a small family group joined us for dinner. It was extremely enjoyed by all from the first course to the last. We even saw friends who live in the area who stopped by for dinner and they stated that this is their favorite restaurant, I can understand why, We were very satisfied with our choice and the service was superb. We will definitely be back."

  • "I thought it was great! The food and service were really good. Two minor things- 1) the menus were cheap and really hard to read and 2) the gelato was not very good, more like sorbet, was not creamy gelato that I am used to. Not deal breakers, we will definitely go back!"

  • "The whole evening was just NOISY. We're unable to make any kind of conversation. The noise level is frankly unbearable. The hostess did not notice nor acknowledge my written table request. We had to ask for the table that I want. Wine selection is OK. Food is pricey. We had to add oilve oil, salt and pepper to the salad that we ordered. Salumi platter is pretty good but thats expected. Both Pasta Cabonara and Pasta with meat sauce lacks any distinct favor. Meat sauce is simply watery tomato sauce. Pasta itself is over cook and mushy. Just don't have the obvious Italian pasta eating sensation - simple yet delightful. Very disappointed and will not return. No recommendation as well."

  • "Great food...love their salads & appetizers. Ate at the bar....wonderful people that work there. Very friendly, attentive. This has started to become one of our "regulars"."

  • "...Tigelleria offers culinary excellence based on food that is sustainably/humanely sourced. The key is that it's an organic-food restaurant, not a primarily vegetarian (let alone vegan) one. So there is a lot of meat on the menu, but it is excellent and very flavorful. My companion wanted to try one of the cutting boards, and if you're really into Italian charcuterie, they're thoughtfully put together and worth trying. But the entrees and appetizers, for me, are the real standouts. Service was superb and the ambience quiet and very pleasant, although I've been there at times when it's noisy and bustling also."

  • "My husband and I love this place, it was our third time dining there and will be back. Food is different and also ways good. A bit pricey but worth it to us. Drinks and wine list is great, waiteress was well informed on types of wine and we were inpressed."

  • "Good food. Very small portions for entree and over priced. We spent 170 on an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, and 2 desserts. Food was good but not worth that price. However, I highly recommend the meat and cheese cutting boards. Those were excellent. Service was fine. Nothing special, nothing horrible."

  • "My Valentine and I enjoyed the best 5 course pre-fix ever. The organic fresh vegetable are always lightly treated with clear and simple/savory reductions. The delicious meats, from appertivo prosciutto to secondi meal of shark could not be better balanced and never dry or over cooked. Always a perfect experience for the taste buds at Tigelleria."

  • "I had the " branzino in crosta" sea bass baked into a salted crust. While the presentation and preparation were impressive, the fish was tender but did not have much flavor. The eggplant side dish was pretty skimpy as well-I was still hungry after dinner. I also had the budino al cioccolato.(chocolate mousse) for dessert. I found it to be a bit thin and watery-not at all like other creamier chocolate mousses I've had elsewhere . I will return and try other dishes next time."

  • "I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We wanted a quiet place where we could talk and have a great dinner. I was a little nervous when we entered as the front room was a bit energetic. However, we were taken to the back room where the atmosphere was much more toned down. The wine list was excellent, and our server provided some good recommendations. The food was terrific as well. There were some good vegetarian options for my girlfriend, and some amazing seafood dishes for me. We will certainly be back as Tigelleria is a fantastic place for special occasions!"

  • "We had heard from friends this restaurant was pricey but food would be amazing. It was pricey, that's for sure! Very noisy and entrees fair at best. Ordered linguine with pesto (BLAND) and my husband ordered ravioli dish (5 ravioli) waitress tried to get him to place two orders because "that's not enough food for a big guy like you" Ummm, 10 ravioli for $45., no thanks! The four of us split a kale salad that was pretty good...no appetizers, no dessert. One entrée each and we brought our own favorite bottle of wine. ($25. corkage fee is high) Came out to $50. per person including tip. $50. each to split one salad between four and one entrée each. Will not be back."

  • "Wish they would have more Primi and Secondi Vegetarian options. Otherwise they were great! We are vegetarian and enjoyed the choices they had. Plus that they had so many organic choices made it perfect for us. Loved the Burratta on bread appetizer. NOT to be missed. Will go back."

  • "Butternut squash soup unlike any I've had before, very good. Charcuterie plate makes you feel like you are in Europe. Chicken was fork-tender. Chateaubriand, too. We should branch out on dessert, but always have the salume dolce -- a thin-sliced torrone, looks like salame made of chocolate. The dessert wine recommended with the salume dolce is wonderful, but oops I didn't check the price -- $22 a glass. Interesting wine list. Ryan was a delight - attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, plus the kinda guy you want your daughter to date."

  • "On this particular evening the service was a little slow. Give us our wine first and we will be happy but it took quite some time before the order was taken and then an unreasonable time to get it. We think the waiter might have forgotten. The menu selections are good - nice choices, ambience very nice although a little loud. I would go back again."

  • "The girlfriend took me out for a bday dinner. We have been wanting to try this place since I moved in to Campbell. The food was great, service was not overwhelming (I can't stand when waiters keep interrupting you asking how everything is) and the final bill was very reasonable for what we got: - shared appetizer - 2 entrees - 2 deserts - 2 coffees - 1 bottle of wine Total right about $120. We both cook and are both very picky about the restaurant food. We just wondered why we haven't tried this first. We will go there again"

  • "Their menu goes far beyond the same old tired Italian dishes offered at most Italian restaurants. It is very unique and creative. The dishes were prepared to perfection with wonderful herbs and spices. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was nice and the service was great. They are very friendly."

  • "I've been to Tigelleria many times over the last few years and I have yet to be disappointed. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent and the overall environment is refreshing. This is a restaurant that is absolutely not to be missed and should be on your shortlist of go-to dining when you have a date or a special occasion."

  • "I haven't had such authentic, delicious Italian food since I was last on the Italian coast in a small, family run tagliateria! The complimentary warm biscuits were presented with 3 types of spreads: olive, pea and mint, and roasted pepper. For an appetizer, we shared the wild boar ravioli with a porcini mushroom sauce. Rich and dense in flavor but delicate in preparation. I had a salad of fresh arugula, shaved parmesan and a light touch of truffle oil. Mmmm. He had a baby kale salad with fresh mango with a tangy citrus flavor. I loved my entree of tender lamb chops served with fresh peas and pancetta. I didn't share. For dessert I went for the homemade cherry liquor! Too bad they won't share the famly recipe for that one. Great service!"
