Made an on-line reservation and
brought a party of 6 specifically to this restaurant before the orchestra concert. In spite of having a live reservation, the restaurant was closed. Very embarrassing given I was bringing guests. There was also a active website. Last time I trust Open Table!"

I was trying to find a place that
would accommodate 10, downtown, and not extremely expensive. Tietra was just perfect. Bar is great. They just changed chefs, but everything was excellent. It's a gem downtown Philly."

Must agree with the negative
reviews, which I wish I had seen before I booked a pre-Kimmel dinner. Literally could not wait to get check and get out to get dessert elsewhere."

Unfortunately we came for a
birthday dinner and the food was awful and there was nobody there...presumably because the food was awful. The ambience and decor are great...other than that...big mistake."

The restaurant was packed for the
marathon- everyone wants their carb pasta the night before. They were understaffed, but our server was working hard. Food was just okay. The restaurant was cute, but nothing special."

Came here for a pre-marathon
dinner. Great menu which had pasta as well as other Mediterranean options. The food was excellent and the portions not so huge you came away stuffed. Nice ambiance – only slight point is that the tables are quite close together so it felt a little cramped. But maybe that's part of the fun. Would recommend to anyone."

After having lunch here, we
returned for dinner with friends. My husband & I enjoyed this meal as well."

We picked Tietra because it was
near the Kimmel Center and my first choice was booked. Overall, experience was good. The happy hour wines be the glass were $5 and generously proportioned. The Ceaser Salad had a homemade dressing with a nice tang. The octopus salad was good also. The Tilapia Special was the best dish, very nicely seasoned and perfectly seared. Unfortunately, one of my guests ordered Eggplant Parmigiana, which was soggy, bitter, and overly breaded and drowned in too much sauce. You might get something like this a lunch counter in a bus station. But other than that, the food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff were very helpful and friendly."

The menu was much too varied -
Moroccan, Italian, Turkish, Greek - that it caused confusion. Also, all dishes were put on the menu in a disorganized list of plates - entrees, antipasto, & all different price points were scrambled around. Food was good / acceptable. Service was attentive, personable and helpful."

Went to this restaurant before
show at kimmel center because it is close by. Place was very noisy because it was happy hour. Hard to find because name on awning not clearly visible. Somewhat disappointed with this dining experience. Was expecting something a bit classier. Homemade gnocchi was excellent, however."

I had dinner here on a Friday
night. I ordered eggplant parm. The eggplant was cold and rubbery. It was not crisp like it should be. The eggplant was so thin and tasted like it was only the skin. I would not recommend this place to my friends."
