A word from Three Degrees
To be honest, the view came first. There aren't many places that command the vantage point we enjoy here at Three Degrees, so we like to make sure it lives up to Portland.

We do that with a blend of the traditional and the non, the comfortable and the slightly twisted, the satisfying food and the swinging drink.

Most of all, we like to share. Between well-traveled Executive Chef Tom Dunklin, and Lauro Romero as Chef du Cuisine, Three Degrees embraces the Shared Plate philosophy that encourages more people to enjoy more flavors in more ways than any single plate can accommodate. And because we're Portland, we make it as local as possible. When we see water we think fish, so you'll find plenty of it on our menu. Basically, we just like to keep it fresh.

Three Degrees is where food & drink & people always complement each other, and everything goes with the view.

Diner Reviews
  • "Beautiful outdoor seating. Good for a slightly older crowd. Our favorite dishes were the market ceviche, hamachi with crispy ginger and blue marlin. Service was very friendly and accommodating."

  • "We were a party of 4 having cocktails and dinner before going to the Keller Auditorium. We were treated like family and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Ask for Sara - 5 star personality!"

  • "Two things are of prime importance for my enjoyment in dining out: pleasant staff and good food. Three Degrees has both. Each staff member, from hostess to waiting and kitchen staff, is friendly and good-hearted. And the menu reflects a good choice of slightly unusual offerings, as well as something for those less adventurous. Being of the less adventurous type, I can vouch for the great flavors found in the chicken and pork entrees. There's also a bit of playfulness in some of the food.....a lovely Italian custard, topped with cocoa puffs, for one. A wonderfully quiet atmosphere, and a great view of the river with the dragon boats practicing. We return to this restaurant whenever we visit Portland."

  • "Service and the beautiful view were nice. Food was good but we were both disappointed with how little there was to eat. We were both starving when we left and had to get some fast food to fill our stomachs."

  • "My husband and I like to take our kids out to a new restaurant every weekend. This last weekend, on Valentine's Day, we took our kids to Three Degrees, not realizing it was going to be pretty busy everywhere due to the "holiday" (quotes because we don't really celebrate Valentine's Day). The restaurant was pretty full and the staff was extremely busy, however, we never got the impression that we were not the only table in the restaurant. When our server, or anyone else who came by to tend to us, was at our table, we were the only table that mattered, making sure our needs were met was the only concern. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back...maybe without the children next time."

  • "There is no menu for vegetarians, so I ordered crawfish tortellini. Admittedly it's my own fault for making reservations before checking the menu, but I am not to blame for the size of the entree I ordered. My 3 year old eats more then the portion I recieved on a regularly. I ended up eating some of my husbands chicken. I was rewarded with a bone I honestly thought broke a tooth. It took our server longer the. It our server awhile to say she could bring our table some house bread. I ate almost the entire loaf to myself. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is nice, if you don't eat meat/fish this isn't a restaurant for you. If you like caveman size portions of chicken and sausage(what my husband ordered and loved) you'll like it."

  • "View was nice. Menu was kind of disappointing, not any choice for any kind of comfort food. Lots of cold choices but it was a cold day and I wanted a warm dish."

  • "This restaurant was chosen by my friend to celebrate a birthday. He considers it the best place in Portland, OR for excellent food and service. Our wait staff were attentive; brought soda and napkin to the table, when my friend jokingly said he needed to remove a spot on his tie. He corrected the person bringing plates for not approaching from the left side and he expected removal to be from the right (which was done). Our waitress was attentive, helpful with suggestions, and interacted well with an extroverted personality. I found the food to be superb and the service excellent."

  • "Our group remembered the delicious food and the ease of conversation and tasting that happens with the small plates; we were sorry to learn that the menu had changed. I think several of the nine of us simply ordered the one thing from the former menu that was still available - the hamburger."

  • "Nice view. No one there.....food was bad, service was slow. Great hotel. Too bad the restaurant wasn't better!"

  • "We had a great New Years Eve dinner at Three Degrees. We easily got a table at 8pm and the restaurant was relatively empty, though I'm not sure why? The food was great and the service was the best I've had in a long time. Very knowledgable wait staff regarding food and their fancy cocktails. Try the aged whiskey drinks!! Was about a 15-20min easy walk back to the center of downtown to find a bar to count down to 2014. I highly recommend Three Degrees for a casual yet classy evening out."

  • "Top-notch front service, from manager to servers. But the kitchen staff was not capable of handling high-volume New-Year Eve demand. One particular appetizee (hamachi) was excellent, but the other dishes from salad (balnd dressing) to steak (tough) was unsatisfactory. May not return."

  • "Came here for christmas brunch with the family, staff was very friendly, food took awhile to make but not too long and it was very well made and delicious. the sauces that came with my pancakes were delicious- ginger maple syrup and fresh blueberries. it's a bit pricey but would recommend. the view was fantastic, we took a walk on the waterfront after our meal."

  • "Went for breakfast, had the pork belly hash and eggs benedict. Food was average at best, but well presented. Portions were quite small and I left hungry. Service was decent until the end of the meal until we were ignored for a good twenty minutes while looking for the bill. Wouldn't go back or recommend."

  • "Had excellent service. Description on brunch menu made everything sound so good, but a few of us made a wrong selection (salmon) and, although tasty and lovely to look at, it was not sufficient for a meal. Our small plate of prawns to share was excellent! Overall, was a bit disappointed with the food."

  • "We enjoyed the calming atmosphere of Three Degrees on the Portland riverfront. It was not overly crowded which was a pleasure during the holidays. The hotel and restaurant have a classy-but-not-over-the-top feeling. The staff is very friendly and attentive; both service and food were very good."

  • "Overall the food was pretty good, but we felt like they were trying to be too creative at the expense of taste. The best dish was the the BBQ shrimp starter which was very flavorful. The view on the waterfront is lovely and relaxing and the service was very good."

  • "My friends and I were seated at the best table on the deck. It had the perfect amount of sun and shade and a view. Our server was hard to catch, though and they tried to bring me the wrong drink. But when we asked him to charge our cards a certain way he accommodated us with a smile and positive body language. The shrimp, the salad, and the burger were all well-made. I will go back."

  • "Outstanding service and unique food under a super relaxing atmosphere looking the marina and experiencing the calmness of the Willamette River! What else can you ask when you want to have a special brunch with your family?"

  • "I love this place. We stopped for a drink and a small plate. My husband's shrimp was outstanding and my lamb riblets were good. The sauces on both were excellent. We'll be back!"
