Thomas Hill OrganicsGreat dining experience! My husband and I had reservations for our anniversary dinner this past weekend. We had intended to get entrees (they looked delicious) but everything on the menu looked so flavorful we wanted to try more items. The Ahi Appetizer, Lentil Tacos, and Mediterranean Pizza were all fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWine and DineThis was a great place to have a nice dinner with a great wine list in paso Robles.
Food is farm to table and the menu changes . We had wonderful service from JP, the waiter.
One thing that was refreshing was they took te to cool your food and not rushing you out the door to turn their tables over.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always lunch here!We ALWAYS stop here for lunch on our way to Santa Barbara!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazingWe love Thomas Hill's food. This was our second time and I think it was better than the first time, which was great. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the wine and the food was outstanding in respects. We will go back next time we are in Paso Robles. A must place to dine.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMthis was a 1st date, the tablesthis was a 1st date, the tables were a bit close together, but the food and service were excellent.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWine Weekend DinnerOn a recent wine weekend, we returned to THO for our third visit and we were not disappointed. We were even seated early for our reservation. The food was creatively prepared and beautifully presented and the flavor combinations outstanding. We all loved our appetizers and entrees. A hit was the lentil taco appetizer. For our group of four, the order was modified from three (standard) to four. The vegetarian in the group was also accomodated without a fuss. The ingredients being locally sourced and organic are a bonus and add to the appeal. The wine recommendation was outstanding and the wine label was a new discovery. The patio seating was very comfortable. I look forward to another visit next time we travel to the area.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMMust go backThis was my second time dining at Thomas Hill. Although the first time was amazing, this might have been even better. The waitress was incredibly helpful with wine recommendations and the food was fabulous. This will definitely be my go to restaurant for a nice dinner in Paso Robles.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect pizza on the patioThe wood oven pizza was outstanding. It was starting to rain so the pizza chef was shutting down the pizza, but he did one final pizza for us: skirt steak, gorgonzola cheese and carmelized onions! To die for! Wish we lived close enough to make THO a regular stop. YUM5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful and delciousA lovely dinner out. Beautiful plating with innovative ingredients. The waiter was very helpful.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMvery good choiceFresh foods, very well prepared. Staff most accommodating to changes from menu description. Strongly recommended.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMInventive, delicious, crazyInventive, delicious, crazy good. Craving those amazing lentil tacos right now!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the fresh and seasonalLoved the fresh and seasonal produce. I am so amazed and impressed with the creative pairings of ingredients. This is organic and local at its best. Service was excellent, warm and helpful. There is no doubt we will return each time we make the trip through Paso Robles. This is a must stop for anyone traveling up and down 101. No . . . this is a destination in and of itself.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMChef Who ImaginesHere's a restaurant where a chef with a vivid imagination creates eye-candy presentations with unique flavor combinations, bok choy on black rice with duck and sour cherries topped with, of all things, a fried egg, expertly prepared with just the right amount of cooking to add its lovely yolk to an already delicious sauce. A quinoa salad with bananas? Who would have thunk it. All this, along with delightful, personable and knowledgeable service makes Thomas Hill a great romantic spot to celebrate a loving anniversary. We had our 43rd on the patio.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is my favorite brunchThis is my favorite brunch spot in Paso Robles.
The food is always interesting with the freshest ingredients.
Service is top notch.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMCreativity aboundsEating at Thomas Hill Organics is one of our favorite things in Paso Robles (along with certain wineries and a bike ride through the country side). Each time the dishes have been delicious -- from the fire-baked pizza for a starter to the desserts. The entrees reflect some of the most creative combinations of ingredients we have ever seen. Combinations that I would have never dreamed of result in beautiful layers of complex flavors. Sometimes I wonder if I could get away with licking my plate to ensure no drop is lost. Thomas Hill Organics is a real gem in the Central Coast area.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOur favorite Paso Robles PlaceWe stop in Paso Robles for the night every time we make the Southern California trip just to eat at Thomas Hill organics. The chef is creative and seems to just know how to combine foods for a perfect marriage....Things one wouldn't think would go together that are fabulous. I love this place and highly recommend it .....can't wait for our next trip down 101....4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMJust a great meal with exceptionsalJust a great meal with exceptionsal service from Renee. It's a funky location around a corner (follow the signs). The food is very very good. Exceptional raw black kale salad and duck breast was perfectly rare (as ordered) with lovely strawberry salad. Cocoa nibs were an incrdible touch. The margherita pizza was good, but the crust could have been crispier on the bottom. However, the sauce was excellent. Renee made excellent wine pairing selections and suggested to us some of her favorite wineries.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Paso meal!Restaurant is in courtyard with a canopy, so it's outdoors without being totally exposed. Food is fresh and imaginative and courageous.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous MealFabulous meal!! My dinner partner had the sea bass. OMG! It was the best, most creative preparation of sea bass either of us had ever had!! I had the skirt steak. Excellent, but the sea bass was the star of the show!! Truly fit for foodies!!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent andThe food was excellent and they were able to accomodate my diet with some food restrictions. The waitress was knowledgable about the menu items I could eat. My only complaint is that the service is a slow. In addition, the waitress brought the wrong salad (which was my main course) and so my companion had to start eating alone while I waited about 7 minutes for my meal to be served.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe wanted something differentWe wanted something different from what we can find at home, without sacrificing our gourmet taste; This was perfect.
The food was divine, the wine was really good and the service was excellant . We were driving to Paso Roblas from LAX and it was my husbands
60th birthday that day- a really nice relaxing meal . The server even put a candle on my husbands
Cake (which was out of this world good) !
Can not wait to repeat the experience.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is very fresh andThe food is very fresh and so so good. Need to come back for lunch next time.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMSirracha Wings Confit - OMG!!This was a refreshing and really unique dining experience. Their flavor combinations were really interesting, which made it very exciting. Everything was fresh and delicious. Wendy was a great server, knowledgable about all of the dishes as well as their local wine offerings. We had several interesting dishes: Pizza with short rib and roasted potatoes, yum! Seared ahi - delish! Spinach and quinoa salad, very unique flavors. But our favorite was the chicken wings confit with sirracha glaze - OMG! So amazing! Tender, juicy, sweet & spicy, fall off the bone delicious!!! I would definitely go back and highly recommend THO for any foodie who loves fresh fare.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMget the burrata cheese appetizer!Went there last wk with my besties as we were in town for wknd getaway. This was recommended by the proprietors of our B&B, and we liked the reviews on TripAdvisor and Open Table.
Started with a yummy bottle of wine. The waitress listened to our taste and recommended a bottle, which we enjoyed. Ordered the burrata cheese appetizer - it was awesome. We asked for more flat bread to scoop it up with. She told us she'd have to charge us extra, (really?) and then needed reminding to bring it, which she finally did after she brought our entrees. No biggie, we still managed to eat all the cheese and most of the bread.
I had the sea bass, my friends had one of the pizzas, the salads (one was kale, other was?) All was really good!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Find!Absolutely fantastic. First time at Thomas Hill, and we were blown away. Food quality was outstanding. We had two young girls with us (under 13) and the menu was more than they could handle until they saw the pizza menu. They both had pizza and were talking it up 48 hours later. The chicken wing confit was really good, but the size of the wings were more like quail. I wished that they were bigger, or more of them. The black kale salad was excellent. My daughter kept reaching over the table for more. The lamb and sea bass were perfectly cooked. The wine list was extensive and all local. We had a 2007 Parish Cabernet that went well with the food. We passed on dessert. Cold Stone was up the street. We'll definitely go back.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMReally delicious food. GreatReally delicious food. Great service. Comfortable settin.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this place and visitI love this place and visit for lunch every time I'm in Paso Robles. They have the best burger in town! My husband and I usually split it so that we can enjoy one of their exceptional appetizers. This last time, we had a tuna appetizer that was delicious as well.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThis has to be the most relaxingThis has to be the most relaxing dining experience in Paso Robles. The patio is lovely, heaters, fireplace, wood-burning oven with pizza chef, casual and yet very private. The wines by the glass list has plenty of good Paso wines at reasonable prices, bottles are also priced nicely. The yoghurt, dukkah and pita appetizer is phenomenal, a MUST have item. We also shared the lentil tacos and if the sound of lentils turn you off - think again and try these! Healthy, imaginative and really a treat. My husband hates vegetarian, healthy, yadda yadda - and he wants to make these at home! The duck was very good, although we were informed it was prepared medium yet it was med rare-not our favorite but we ate it.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe return to this restaurantWe return to this restaurant everytime we go to Paso Robles. The food never disappoints.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMenu changes regularly. WeMenu changes regularly. We tried 3 of the 4 salads they were offering. All were good, but the black kale was our favorite. Pizza is always a good bet.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant had been highlyThe restaurant had been highly recommended to us so i decided that the next time we were in Paso Robles we would try it - we ordered the Tuna Tataki appettizer, a Beet salad, a cold smoked Salmon sandwich, and the Tres Leches cake with a pot of French Press coffee. Every dish was FABULOUS!!! The flavors were excellent, and subtle nuances of a multitude of layering of ingredients were presented in each dish - My husband who is not a Foodie was thoroughly impressed! We will dine here again the next time we are in Paso, as well as recommend it to our friends.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love Thomas Hill OrganicsWe love Thomas Hill Organics and we love them even more, as they are dog-friendly and were very accommodating for our little guy to be able to join us for dinner.
The food is outstanding, and I can't recommend them enough. We had a yummy quinoa and kale salad, and split a wood fired pizza. The wine list is also amazing with so many really good wineries represented. It was hard to make a decision on which wine to choose.
Can't wait to go back!
the only downside, is that I made the reservation thru Open Table with a note that we were bringing our dog. When we got to the restaurant they didn't get that note - and on a busy Saturday night we had to wait for a dog-friendly area table to open up. Was glad T.H. was accommodating...3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy favorite restaurant inMy favorite restaurant in Paso Robles and all of San Luis Obispo County.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant offered theThis restaurant offered the freshest fare by far. Appetizers, salads, main entre's were fabulously prepaired with flavors exceeding my expectations.
