Was seated right away! Hubby loved the beer sampler and burger! Kids(10 &6) loved the children's menu and coloring page! I loved the specialty burger and absolutely yummy dessert!! Family friendly pub! Server made our children feel very welcome! They gave us a table on upper level(3 steps up from main bar area). Noise level was great! We could hear each other talking without raising our voice. I'd definitely recommend the pecan-crusted salmon, and this was one of the few places I didn't have to add salt to the mashed potatoes. The pizza my husband ordered was definitely lacking. Flavor was OK (margherita), but the crust was soft at edges and a bit soggy on bottom. We like crispy crust, so we didn't even take the leftovers. The grilled pear salad was good. The hostesses are always friendly, The service from our waitress was great and the food great as well. What made it even better was the fact that they were very busy (like always) and the manager was walking around and everything was so smooth. The 90 minutes we were there went fast and probably could have stayed even longer and enjoyed ourselves even more.
Entire staff looked great and all were friendly and doing a great job. But the poor waitresses are always dressed in very deeminging outfits. I think this place was trying to attract a young hip crowd so they have made the bar the central focus with very loud music and several TV's around. But this neighborhood has very few restaurants so this one almost looks like the Spaghetti Factory with a ton of kids around. Lol! I would still highly recommend this place. Next time, we'll share a pizza and something else or try something else from the menu.
Server was more than happy to split salads for appetizer and a split salad was a very generous portion. The helpful suggestions on the menu show that the staff interested in making your meal enjoyable and less about simply taking your order; they want you to enjoy the meal when it arrives. The fact that they offer to separate the bill on a fairly large group makes it so much nicer, and I feel like leaving a larger tip than normal when I'm not jousting to divide up the check and figure tips.
