We thought it was a little pricey. There was no flexibility in what could be included in the Fixed Price 2 and 3 course offerings. That would have been nice. When my wife's salad was served part of it fell on the floor just before the plate was placed on the table. Not all of the squash soup was poured from the server container before being taken away. Would liked the container to have stayed on the table so I could finish the soup. The main course was delicious and very well presented. Lovely environment. We had read that the Guggenheim Museum was one of the top 5 Museums in the country with an outstanding Restaurant. This is why we selected The Wright on our day in New York City for lunch. We just weren't 100% happy with the experience.

I had the two course price fixed lunch($30). The pear salad frisée was very good and enough to share with my companion. The lump crab cake with avocado and diced peppers was also very good. My husband had a hamberger with fries. He asked for well done was assured by the witer to get medium- well so it would not be too dry. It came out very pink in the middle. He ate it but would have liked it cooked more thoroughly. The surroundings are pleasant, the waitstaff attentive and the location perfect after viewing the art in the Guggenheim.

We remembered the Wright favorably from a previous visit two years ago, but either we have become more particular or the Wright has gone down in its quality. The food is mediocre and unimaginative; service is ok but not more than that. Its only real advantage is its location, which is of course very convenient to visitors at the Guggenheim.

I always want to love The Wright. It's gorgeous, and festive, and a half block from my apt. But… It's so unreliable, bizarre, unpredictable hours, and the food sometimes just misses. For brunch I had unusual and delicious fish tacos. My partner ordered the more predictable, but usually delicious Eggs Benedict. The English muffin was unexceptional and under toasted, the Hollandaise scant, but, worst of all, the yolks were overcooked. Why eat that dish if not for the freely flowing yolk? Too easy an error for such an expensive meal.

We were going to the Guggenheim, so for convenience and curiosity, we made reservations at the Wright. The website says that the dress is "dressy." We went during the lunchtime and found it to be fairly casual. There is a great assortment of delicious foods to choose from, but they do not appreciate you wanting to make changes to any of the dishes. We also did not see a single smile from any of the servers. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the setting, but I would probably not return.

Walking into the restaurant, if I closed my eyes I would have thought by the greasy smells, I was in McDonald's. Yuck! Eggs Benedict with a folded slice of ham and a Bloody Mary that they never put vodka infor $34?? Outrageous! And our waiter was also the bartender and the busboy. Frank Lloyd Wright's name is disparaged by this lackluster place.

The service was very bad and the food inconsistent. Coffee came out without the requested cream. By the time the cream came the coffee was cold. Our food (breakfast) took 45 minutes! Once on the table, the side orders never came (we were told they had to be re-cooked because they were too "crispy") By the time they were served, breakfast was nearly consumed. Toast and english muffin only came after 3 reminders, at which point the english muffin was raw. As for the food, while presented nicely, the eggs benedict was cold and soft boiled, breakfast potatoes were uneven to the point that some were actually raw and hard. Tab was over $100

Sunday Brunch, the first reservation of the day service was excellent, we received a very warm welcome from the hostess, and great attention from the waitstaff, the decor is uber fitting for the venue. Off to a great start, mimosa in hand, I ordered the Eggs Benedict, excited as i have not had the dish anywhere in ages, the best part in my opinion is the warm lemony buttery overflowing freshly made Hollandaise sauce running all over the stack. Much to my disappointment when the dish arrived on each stack there was a dollop of sauce about the diameter of a quarter coin, thick and unmovable I barely ate half, the asparagus that accompanied the dish was more enjoyable. I do hope this was just a fluke as I've heard great reviews from friends.

New York City has some fine museum restaurants, and The Wright located in the Guggenheim is one of them. The white space is the perfect place to take a break from the museum experience, with excellent food to match. We both had the $30 2-course Prix Fixe. Both the cured salmon with salad and the seared tuna were cooked to perfection.

Had been really looking forward to ding at this highly touted spot. Firstly thee room was hot. We sweat literally and figuratively throughout the experience. The food was artfully presented but not special in any way. Tuna which was ordered medium rare was medium well and dry. Chicken so tough it was difficult to cut. Service was well intentioned but cloddish. The bathroom was sorely in need of a facelift was was shared by museum goers. It had an unpleasant odor as well. Stay clear there are many far better options on the UES

Located in the Guggenheim Museum, New York, this restaurant , named after the building's architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, has very good food, an interior design that compliments the unique curves of the building and employs a very hospitable and attentive staff. Only open in the afternoon, this is a great place to take break from the exhibits and collection of this world class museum. New York has many fine dining experiences but The Wright is one that is memorable. I highly recommend it.

The architecture and design of the Guggenheim is world famous and rightly so!....walking up and around the spherical building viewing art is an amazing experience and the restaurant located on the side of the building with decor of colorful materials and simple classic design in a spacious area is very complementary to a meal before or after viewing the exhibits! The food was good and the service as well. The Wright is right!!!! Enjoy!

I went to the Wright with my daughter for brunch on Saturday..the menu was somewhat limited which I generally do not mind however our meal was not very good. We ordered an omelet with potatoes and a side of bacon...first the bacon was quite good, crispy and cooked very well. The omelet was fine, nothing to rave about and the potatoes were good we also ordered a sweet roll basket and this is where the cooking disappointed us..all the selections were fair..too many large muffins and none of them good, a croissant that was not warm, I asked to get it warmed , but that did not help it at all..the jam that came along with it was also fair, the service was fine , ambiance also ok, the restaurant is quite understated but goes with the museum.

We went to the restaurant prior to an afternoon at the Guggenheim. The food was excellent, the portions weren't big but the flavors were wonderful. If you don't mind spending a little more for lunch, it's well worth it. The service was outstanding, the employees were friendly, not snobby and seemed to really care that we were happy with the experience. My husband and I had the lobster risotto and my daughter had the chicken, we also had a side of sugar snap peas. All the dishes were great and very fresh. Although we did not drink from the bar, the bar was very cool. The overall design of the restaurant was cool and fun to experience along with the food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I am very particular about my eggs Benedict and I must say they were cooked perfectly. For me the only thing that was missing was a starch. I love Eggs Benedict with some sort of potato. The reason I was surprised is that I did not think that a museum restaurant would be able to produce something that did not feel mass produced. I will visit again!

The Wright adjoins the museum and has a more ambitious, if limited, menu than the museum's third-floor cafe. Service was very gracious and the food was fine. People next to my table asked for bread and were told that there would be an extra charge for it, which they accepted, but I think it's kind of discouraging when bread isn't routinely offered to guests. The quiche and the hamburger were good, and so was the coffee.
