We had a table for 2 in the front of the restaurant. It was very cold!!! The food was good. The waitresses for our table was not very attentive. Overall it was a nice place and will be back as long as we can get a seat where the temperature is regulated a little better.

Right off the bat we noticed it was more a cafe style setting rather than a restaurant, but it an nice decor, bright and clean! Hubby originally took us there for the crab and garlic noodles. Was surprised that I liked their clams (not a clam person)! Steampots gave a good amount of food! My 14.5 yr old son loved the Rajun Cajun Steampot, hubby and I ordered the Fire Grill Steampot with a side of Garlic Noodles; and a Deep Fried Ice Cream Dish that we shared for Dessert. I was impressed with the Clams and the Deep Fried Ice Cream Dessert! Hubby liked the sausage, corn cob and potatoes! I expected the Crab and Noodles to have a bit more flavor. Over all ambiance was pleasant! We would still go back again to try other dishes!

We had the oysters on the half shell for appetizers. They were fresh and slightly larger than most restaurants offer out here. Wait staff were attentive and quick even with a busy Valentine dinner crowd. Excellent spot for seafood lovers and great place for drinks.

We went to dinner on Valentine's Day which was expected to be really busy, so that was fine. This place is not romantic for that at all but we didn't expect romance at a crab shack :) The appetizers were disappointing, not very good. We got the garlic noodles because every review I read said they are delicious -- they were simply $10 spaghetti noodles with butter and garlic (nothing to write a review about). . . if we go again, we will definitely just be getting the crab!!
