A word from The Willeyville
The Willeyville is gathering place for food and drink, a place that strips away the formality of fine dining and has fun taking food and service seriously. Our cocktails are crafted using all house made juices, bitters, mixes of various sorts. Some cocktails are as old as John Willey himself while other cocktails are a bit more modern, but all delicious.

Our menu is an ever changing homage to the lost art of homemade food, seasonal ingredients, and American cuisine. America is a melting pot and our cuisine draws upon many different influences. We have several comforting selections on our menu that are familiar. You also have plenty of room to explore different techniques, flavors, cultures, with an emphasis on house-made items.

It is exciting and humbling to be able to mix, cook, and serve you, we hope you enjoy it as much as we love doing it!

  • "This place is a great addition to downtown. It's small enough to feel intimate but also has a good vibe. The staff is knowledgable but laid back to make your experience relaxing. The meatloaf with bone marrow tater tots and hanger steak are excellent. Their fresh ingredients, including fresh puréed kale and Olive oil dip for bread, make everything about this farm to table restaurant worth the money."

  • "Have eaten at Willeyville several times now and tried new things each time. Each time I have tried something outside my comfort zone. I might be described as being a narrow minded eater who keeps ordering the same thing once I find something I like. But not here. The appetizers, the specials, and even the deserts are creative and so, so good. Have yet to try something I did not really like. Great place. Try something different if you go to Willeyville! The chef clearly loves coming up with intersting dishes so you may as well enjoy what he comes up with!"

  • "I really can't say enough about my experience at Willeyville. The server, Amanda, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, and even preparation of the food. I rarely provide restaurant reviews, but the food, service, and attention to detail was so amazing that I have to give them their due. We started the meal with a kale-based pesto and yummy sourdough bread. The pesto was so light and fresh tasting. We moved onto house made ricotta with evoo and fresh herbs. All four of would've liked to lick the plate clean! I ordered one of the specials, which was scallops with a corn puree underneath and a spicy salsa on top. Everything we ate was light, flavorful, and really well thought out. The chef greeted us as well!"

  • "the drinks were FANTASTIC! Best in the area! A little too much on the pepper and hot seasoning in most dishes, for me but otherwise quite tasty. I asked for calamari with just the rings, not the entire thing (grosses me out) and was told they couldn't do it. That was a bit disappointing since I always ask for it that way at other establishments and never have had a "no" - otherwise I would have given them 5 stars for service."

  • "Half way through our appetizers, I proclaimed this place is my favorite restaurant in Ohio. Luckily, the rest of the meal followed suit. This place is the best! Upon entry, we were struck by the cool ambiance and decor (the back bar and the light fixtures are gorgeous!). The service was great - helpful and present, but not overly obtrusive. They are clearly excited about the food they're serving, which makes you excited to eat it. The cocktails were delicious, with an interesting twist (whey instead of egg whites? genius!). All the food is made completely from scratch in-house. We ate the whipped ricotta, calamari with tzatziki, fried pickled vegetables, meatloaf, pork chop, ricotta gnudi (and all the desserts) and we loved everything."

  • "I hadn't been to the Flats in several years and my daughter suggested we eat here. We were there on a Tuesday night at 6 PM and there was only one other party there when we arrived. It was Happy Hour so our glasses of wine were $2 off, and we enjoyed the chardonnay and cab wines served by the glass. The hummus appetizer was good. The grilled salmon tacos, at $19, was good but came with only three hard-shell tacos with skimpy contents. The contents tasted very good, but just not enough of it, and not worth the price. We sat at the bar and our server gave us very good service and was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. "

  • "Love love love this place! They make everything in house. By everything I mean everything. You really can't go wrong with their menu. Definitely get something with pork in it. They by whole pigs and do the butchering in house. Also speaking of pork...they now serve house made hotdogs at the bar day and night, dining room at lunch. Probably the best hot dog I've ever had. We did the Asian one. It has Kimchi, friend onions, miso mayo, and came on a steamed bun. I'm salivating thinking about it. Anyway...this is one of my new favorite spots. Dont miss it!"

When you go ASK FOR AMANDA’S SECTION!!! She makes the experience. She has an inviting personality that lets you know she is appreciative for your visit. Amanda takes the time to converse with you about the types of foods that you would be interested in so that she can give you a perfect suggestion that will leave you marveling over the meal. Aside from the staff, the ambience was trendy and classy. The food quality including presentation, taste and selection was outstanding. Paired with the affordable prices, dinner here is a must. You won’t be disappointed! "

The offerings were heavy on the sausage and pork, with other odd combinations that made it difficult to choose a dish. I'm a true foodie, and appreciate the cheif's talent, but where was the fresh fish? Our server tried but really wasn't trained and our experience was cumbersome."

  • "we had a great experience at Willeyville. i made reservations months out to host an event for my sister and 8 of her friends. someone called me to confirm and asked more details about my event. we ended up discussing we'd have champagne upon arrival. when we actually came for the event, we had a perfect high top table, off to the side near the bar, felt special and especially for us. the table was set with champagne glasses and was ready to pour by the time we were seated. everyone loved the ambiance and service. we look forward to coming back for dinner and drinks!"

  • "I had to take the time to write a review because of how impressed we were. The service was absolutely outstanding. For a restaurant that has reasonably priced entrees, I would never have expected white table cloth service. Our server Maria was great and there was always another server that was at her elbow to help make it seemless. Portions were smaller than I would have liked but everything we had was delicious. Loved the vibe and look of the place. Didn't like the glasspour Pinot from Oregon but was impressed with the rest of the list. Can't wait to dine here again!"

Meals well executed love the elevated comfort food approach. Love how so much is done in house.   • "Went to Wyllieville with another couple before the comedy show, let the wait staff know of our time constraint and it was no problem getting in and out in an hour including appetizers. I should have asked if they validate the parking, becuase that was another $6.00. Good craft beer list, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great restrooms, very clean. Very cool custom lighting."

Great food, attractive bar, server Joe and all staff are very friendly and sincerely want you to come back which we will do to try other items. Using farms in Ohio and lots of "from scratch" incentives. You can tell all are enthusiastic about their crafts. Most folks want good food, fair pricing, great service and fun atmosphere.   • "We stayed at the Aloft Hotel and walked the few steps to Willeyville for a really great dinner. Our server, Amanda, made some great suggestions and moved our meal along because we had orchestra tickets that evening. It was a perfect evening and the dinner was a perfect start!"

There's a really great staff, an outstanding martini selection and the FOOD is unique and delicious. There's an industrial-chic decor with warm orange walls and really special tables made from reclaimed wood from the area. Definitely check it out."
