  • "My husband and I have been to Tiburon a couple of tiems and were excited to try the sister restaurant, The Wild Rose. It was absolutely delicious, as expected. The restaurant was very light and open, which was very nice. The service was wonderful and our food arrived so quickly! We would have ordered dessert, but we were so incredibly full we couldn't! The portion sizes were perfect and we ate way too much bread with their special butter spread. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "I wish the food matched the prices and expectations. For $8, the Caesar salad served on sa very large plate with 4 small, tho nicely stacked, dressed romaine leaves in the middle. For the main entrees, we sampled the steak au poivre (for $30, a very thin NY strip crusted with peppercorns). If you're going to serve a thin cut of meat then carefully consider the amount of peppercorns you add to it. A nice thick NY strip with these same peppercorns would be good, this was too peppery. The Mahi Mahi was overdone with an accompanying crab salad redolent of raw onions. We'd be much better off driving into Salt Lake."

  • "Wild Rose will not make Barney's Best list. The rib eye was a poor cut--too many tendons and connective tissue. The reduction sauce was not unique or flavorful, the salad (with a couple of candied walnuts) did not warrant the price. Tiberon is way better and so are a whole lot of restaurants in the valley. Back to the drawing board guys"

  • "Friday night was my first time going to the Wild Rose and I really enjoyed it. My husband has eaten there before with work. We thought our waitress Alayna was really good. She made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. My steak was cooked perfectly. We also loved the bread with that delicious balsamic butter spread. Yum! We will come back another time."

  • "This restaurant is sort of tucked away in the District but I'm so glad I tried it. The food is excellent. I had the salmon and my husband had the Mahi Mahi, both were prepared perfectly and were delicious. The sides were also very good and the presentation of the food was beautiful. It is an upscale restaurant, but the prices seemed very reasonable for the quality of the food."

  • "First off, we don't usually fine dine but when we do, I expect it to be great. Wild Rose has been wonderful the 2 times I've been there. Everything on the menu was enticing and made it hard to choose. I had the rib eye and it was amazing, it truly just melted in my mouth. The bacon and mushrooms were a great addition. Great way to spend my birthday."

  • "I travel to Salt Lake monthly and this was the first time I dined at The Wild Rose. What a fantastic experience. The servers were extremely attentive but not overbearing. They did a great job of being at the table timely and then following up each stage of the meal. I ordered a starter Caesar salad and Rib-Eye that came with potatoes and green beans. The salad was fresh and the dressing was not overbearing. Between the salad and steak they brought a delicious orange sherbet as a pallet quencher. The rib-eye was cooked perfectly and the potatoes and green beans were ample and very good. Unfortunately I did not have room for desert but what I saw them carrying around looked great. Hopefully next time I will remember to start with desert."

  • "A small party of 4. We had reservations at Finca but ran late and had to find somewhere closer to friend's house in Bluffdale. We love Tiburon so thought Wild Rose would be fun to try out. Blown away that this is where it is. Nice contemporary but comfortable ambiance. Menu and pricing somewhere in-between Epic and Tiburon (same restauranteurs). Had special 2x 4 oz cuts of beef (1 Wagyu and 1 Organic, Grass-fed sirloin tip). Outstanding, with a 22 oz Epic Cross Fever. Anywhere that stocks Epic beer climbs up a notch regardless of the food. But this was awesome food with or without."

  • "Normally, the Wild Rose is wonderful. This time, however, it was terrible. We had to send back one of our appetizers, because the pork belly was 100% fat, soggy and no meat at all. We've had this dish many times before and usually it's amazing. Unfortunately, this night it was not. Worst of all, the service was just awful. We had to go to the kitchen and ask for our waiter to come back out to our table THREE different times. We could see the staff sitting in the back, laughing, chatting and joking around. We were going to have dessert, but after all of the begging for service on our end, we were upset and we left. Hopefully this is an anomaly and not the new norm at WR. We have really enjoyed the Wild Rose in the past."

  • "The steaks and pork chops were prepared exquisitely. I am very particular about steak and this steak was tender & juicy bursting with flavor. The mushroom and bacon topping just added to the experience. It was truly medium-rare, yet you did not need a steak knife to cut the meat. Great wine list and fantastic, attentive service. I never had to ask to have my drink refreshed. Truly Divine Dining. This is my favorite restaurant in SLC area."

  • "Many chefs make good food, but, every once-in-a-while a chef creates food that is enjoyable to eat. For me and my wife The Wild Rose did this. The Wild Rose’s chef chose a mixture of cheeses, nuts and fruit I found unexpectedly fun to eat. Great surprise, as a third generation cheese maker this hasn’t happened for a long time. Although the dish looked appealing, at first glance I thought the plate was going to be overly simplistic, I was wrong. The entrée’s colors accented the pleasantly seasoned salmon nicely. Like the appetizer the accompanying mixture of vegetables delightfully surprised me, I enjoyed the adventurous mix as much as I enjoyed the salmon."

  • "We have dined at The Wild Rose on several occasions. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. This time I had salmon. I'm always hesitant when ordering fish at an inland restaurant, due to the fact that freshness is always questionable. The salmon I had was as flavorful as any I've eaten in the Pacific Northwest or anywhere else for that matter. The chicken that my wife had was very juicy as well. The service is always excellent. Overall, I would recommend The Wild Rose for any special occasion."

  • "I've never dined at this restaurant but from other reviews I read prior they were spot on. This place was perfect for a romantic valentines diner. The setting was perfect and the table we had was somewhat secluded so that was nice. The man playing guitar and singing was fabulous!! The food was the star though everything was delicious! We had the pork belly app and for entrees my husband had the ribeye and I had the beef tenderloin and both were cooked to perfection! We ended the night with creme brûlée which couldn't of been better. It was on the pricer end but worth every penny! We'll definitely be back! :)"

  • "I love the food and the ambiance of The Wild Rose, but if I've dined at Tiburon, their other restaurant, several times, and feel like I'm getting ripped off. Everything at The Wild arose is "a la carte" and at Tiburon, you get a salad with the meal. There is nothing hugely different between the two restaurants. They say they have a different menu but it's really the same things with different sauces. I do like their food but it seems like they want to be fine dining but have just slightly missed their mark."

  • "Went here to celebrate me and my fiance's engagement and it was probably the best food I've ever had!! It was the perfect amount of food, filled me up but didn't have any left to take home which is good because leftovers always tend to end up getting forgotten about and not eaten! Also I'm pregnant and I've been craving that shrimp scampi everyday since we went! The waiter was very nice and the food came out very fast! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! It was perfect for our engagement dinner, very romantic and quiet!! :)"
