My husband dined on the special of Pork Shoulder and I had the Mahi Mahi. For our appetizer we chose the steamed clams with sausage which was delectable! We got the chocolate torte for dessert and it was fabulous. They have great wine and beer choices. This is a great local restaurant for South Jordan residence, whom mostly get the choice of chain restaurant! We love everything about Wild Rose and look forward to making it one of our dining staples!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Wild Rose is not whatThe Wild Rose is not what you would expect from a restaurant in a strip mall setting. The food was excellent and service was fantastic. If you have been to their other restaurant, the Tiburon, the quality of the food and service are very similar, fine dining at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend either restaurant. All their works are very respectful and do their best to make everybody feel welcome and comfortable and happy. Very knowledgeable about the food and can tell you exactly what you will be getting. The food is outstanding; every bite is a burst of flavor. It was very quiet, and probably not a place to bring kids (although there was a couple with a very well behaved baby sitting next to us). My husband had the beef tenderloin and I had the Mahi Mahi. They were both delicious. Typical American fare, done very well. They had a decent wine selection as well. The prices may have been a tad high for what it was, but again, it was delicious.
