  • "Th service was very timely, the lamb lollis appetizer was fantastic. The steak tips could've been grilled as opposed to pan seared as they were a little chewy but still delicious, and dessert was fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and felt like almost an entirely different restaurant from the bar side."

  • "Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday party with family and friends. We had 11 people and the Wild Horse was very accommodating. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I got the Ahi Tuna cooked rare and it was just delicious. They even allowed us to order a few things off the bar menu which were not on the dinner menu."

  • "Went with a group of couples, they were ready before our reserved time which worked out well. Everyone loved there food. We had a great time."

  • "The food was just okay. Fried oyster apps was tasty, although the oysters were tiny. Brussels with my rack of lamb entree were undercooked. Wild rice was a little mushy like it had been cooked in huge portions and left sitting. The t-bone and rack of lamb were fine, but the price was for both entrees was for quantity not quality. Waiter forgot my wine- needed to ask again and that was well after we had finished eating the appetizer. Little attention from the waiter until after we received our entrees."

  • "we came back after eating here a few years ago, the renovations are nice but the lighting is too bright. the warm dip and short rib taco special were very good."

  • "This has been my second time dining at this fine establishment, and the food was once again phenomenal! Great service and ambience!"

  • "They butterfly'd the filet and doused it in bbq sauce... its a sin to do that to such a good piece of steak. At the table they sat us in, one of the chairs was like a lounger that belonged in a living room. Definitely inappropriate for dinner - could barely reach the table to eat. When we asked to move, the hostess looked very taken aback and said 'all of our tables have chairs like that' - and didn't move us. Would not recommend this place for anything but a good martini. Those they did right."

  • "First time visitors with a Groupon. The person who greeted us was bored and did not really care that we were there. We were given freedom with the menu and everything we ordered was sumptuous. Server was friendly and efficient. They did not have the wine we ordered, but a substitute was offered. The decor is tired and needs a lift. The light over my head did not have a cover and the windows need dressing badly, as the view is sad. Loved the Frank Sinatra era music. The cushy chair I was given had me way too low for the table....next time I will ask for a real chair. Not 100% sure I will go back."

  • "It is a small restaurant with an open kitchen with separate bar area. As a family we went there to celebrate a nice occasion and unfortunately I was disappointed. The Wild Horse used to be a wonderful place to go to get a great meal, but with the new ownership the food quality has gone down. I got the pork, pork, pork and it was dry , dry , dry. Another in my party got the tuna and it tasted like it had liquid smoke poured over it. This totally ruined the delicate taste of the fish. The chair I sat in was so saggy I needed a pillow so I could at least feel like an adult at the table. Too bad it is not the great dining spot it used to be. On the plus side the wait staff was great and attentive. Drinks were good as was the desert."

  • "The food was great. The service was good too, though it felt artificially warm. I will be going again, with a Groupon, as it was romantic, delicious, ample and with the Groupon affordable."

  • "I haven't been to the Wild Horse since it underwent the renovations and change of ownership. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is very relaxed"

  • "I picked this restaurant because of the name- and then loved the menu. The food was great! I had the tuna, even though I wasn't excited about the hoisin sauce (I'd ask them to leave it off next time- or use wasabi...). The brussel sprouts that came with it were fabulous. My husband had the rack of lamb which was perfectly cooked. The horse painting in the lobby was beautiful- they could use more horsey items throughout."

  • "We decided to try the Wild Horse in its new rendition. The ambience is warm and inviting. Interesting beer and wine list. Service was slow. Menu is heavy on meats. For vegetarians, there are few options unless you make a special orders. I think it has potential though."

  • "had a yummy dinner with friends at the Wildhorse. Beginning with the delicious martini and ending with a fresh brewed coffee...this meal was to die for. Every member of our party was delighted with their meal. I would recommend this place to anyone."

  • "Wild Horse cafe under new ownership is nit like it used to be..I used to go years ago, it was eclectic, charming, full of character, the menu was diverse and the food good. I just went back on Valentine's night for dinner. I sensed a problem as soon as I walked in, it was not even half full. The charm was gone, it was barren and boring, the menus limited and the food terrible. What a is appointment."

  • "Took the family here for valentines day (Wife and 3 kids 13,10,8). I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance an decor. We were seated at a very nice semi-circle booth. They had a special menu for V-day so it was fairly limited. They were able to accommodate the kids with the kids menu. I had the rack of lamb which was a strong 9, very good. My wife had the Scallop Risotto which she liked but was overdone with dill. We also had the onion soup for appetizers which was OK but I thought it was a very small soup for the $$. I dont know if it was a V-day thing but I thought the food was priced on the high end. We liked enough to go back and try it again with the normal menu soon. Service was slow (between apps and meal) but friendly."

  • "glass of wine was good but expensive my feet were cold it was drafty the fish tasted too fishy wicked stomach ache in the middle of the night sorry, I did not like the new wild horse as much as the old wild horse"

  • "My wife and I go here maybe once every 2 months. The food is excellent. The service is impeccable and they have 24 craft and mainstream beers on draught (and a wide variety of bottled beers). A tiny bit on the pricey side but we'll worth it!"

  • "We have been going to Wild Horse for many years under the mgmt of both with the original owner and the new owners and have been really disappointed. Love that the new menu is a combination of old favorites and newer choices. Great martinis too."

  • "This not a good experience. the waitress who's name was Shelly not 100% percent sure but brought the drinks over we asked to order and she said I have to pour a bottle of wine and I will be right back. Well after 15 minutes her pouring the wine behind us and taking orders now at 3 other tables, had to literally yell at her to get her attention to come take the order. I said you said you were coming back after pouring the wine she said well things happen. NOT I AM SORRY WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH. The bread was stale not the usual focaccia bread, dipping oil so stale it was one step from croutons. the nacho's that use to be great were flat and tasteless along with the tasteless guacamole. ran out of anchovies for the Caesar salads as well."

  • "Eclectic menu here and food is outstanding. Many small plates to order if you don't want a large meal. Our group enjoyed the brussel sprouts and flatbread as an appetizer. For entree's our group ordered haddock ,baked mac n cheese, venison stew and everyone raved over it. We will all return. Thank you Wild Horse for a memorable evening."

  • "Great little place that we wouldn't have thought of going to. Only issue was that the place was very cold and we had to wear our winter coats while eating. The food also got cold because of this."

  • "Martinis are smaller than from the previous owners. Disliked the cheese fondue... nothing like a real cheese fondue. Other food was good, french fries were excellent."

  • "My wife and I have been to the Wild Horse twice in the past couple of months. On the first visit, a Tuesday night, the waitstaff was great as well as the food quality. Our second visit was with another couple on a Saturday night. The staff was still friendly and fairly attentive but the food was not the same quality. The only item that we ordered both times was the brussel sprout app. On the first visit they were excellent but on the second visit they were less flavorful and very oily/wet. We will try it again and hope the first visit was more typical."

  • "Best meal and best service I've had in any restaurant in years!"

  • "My friends and I went to Wild Horse Cafe for an overdue birthday celebration. The restaurant has changed a bit in the last year, and has lost a bit of its ambiance. It is now brighter and smaller in the restaurant to make room for a bigger bar area. However, the martini list remains impressive, and the food (pot roast for me, Pork Pork Pork for one friend, and steak tips for the other) was fresh, unique and bursting with flavor. Definitely worth a visit!"

  • "We've only been once before since the change in ownership and we were delighted that the décor remained essentially the same. Comfy and warm. Food was terrific. Would definitely recommend it and will return."

  • "Our waitress was lovely -- attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. However, we both order the pancake skillets (one savory and one with baked apples). What was poured over the top wasn't a pancake. It was just thick, dry, dense pastry. The apple filling was tasty, but there was hardly any filling in the savory one. On both, the home fries were overcooked and dry. I had also gone a few weeks before for lunch and had the Cuban Sandwich, which was just OK - way too much bread and completely fell apart as I attempted to eat it (VERY messy). The person with me had a burger, which she said was good."

  • "My guest and I chose Wild Horse because of the wood-fired cooking techniques and recent renovation. Seating was courteous and efficient. My guest sunk into an overstuffed plush chair next to a gas fireplace, cozy and inviting. We both ordered the Arugula salad, which came with some sort of creamy dressing more like ranch than buttermilk. The grilled pot roast was fantastic, moist, fork tender and slightly redolent of wood-smoke,served with small onions, brussell sprouts and small white potatoes, with natural juices. If one could resist those potatoes we could pretend we went carb free. My guest ordered the chicken saltimboca served over wood-fired seared greens. we declined the "Chocolate Therapy" reluctantly....Very nice restaurant ..recommended"

  • "I have heard of this place for a few years now, but was surprised when i booked our table that it was under new owners now (apparently since Jan 2013). The owners came from Serenitee's 15 Walnut, which is a favorite spot of ours so we had high expectations of the Wild Horse. Great set up in side, easy to get around in while carrying an infant in a carrier. Service was very good, the food was outstanding (we did a all appetizer dinner to try as much as we could) and we loved it all. Beer and wine selection is right on level with many of the new styled gastropub-ish places. We will definitely be back!"

  • "As usual, we had an excellent meal at the Wild Horse. The salmon and chicken saltombocca were perfectly prepared, and we loved our miso soup and roasted beet salad. Side dishes were flavorful, perfect accompaniments. The wine and food lists offer variety in price and selection. Whether you eat in the dining room or the bar area, you can't go wrong."
