The Wild Hare reviews from OpenTable diners
  • The food was really good but
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 1/12/2013
The food was really good but overshadowed by the HORRENDOUS service and the fact that they were out of everything. The menu was already limited and then our server tells us we can't have half of what's there. It also took a group of 7 in an almost empty restaurant 2.5 hours to have dinner AND we were given our meals over the course of a half hour, not all at once. Probably won't go back but we certainly don't regret going there.

We were a bit concerned because we arrived at 7:30P on Saturday evening and the place was almost empty! Our entrees were excellent. The list of appetizers was good but they were out of everything we ordered!

I used to go to wild hare when they were located in Wrigleyville. I was saddened when they closed but to see they reopened and as a restaurant was a PLUS. The food was awesome. I wish they would approve the music license for this location so we can enjoy live reggae as well.

We accidentally dined on the first night they were opened, a fun surprise! The menu had a great selection of Caribbean fare. All looked delicious. We sampled a few and they were excellent. We look forward to going back. It's a casual bar scene with great unique food options!
