  • "Will, the head chef, treated us to a wonderful meal on our anniversary. The wait staff was amazing and really helped us out with various pointers on what to do in Jackson. Be sure to make this a part of your visit as you won't be disappointed!"

  • "This is a great restaurant for a dimly lit romantic dinner for two. The filet is the best in town. Portion size is generous. The staff is very accommodating if you have a special cocktail request that is off menu. I would definitely go back."

  • "Steaks were amazing. Excellent service with western surroundings. Club atmosphere. Loved it."

  • "Have been coming here since they opened. Great steaks--a fantastic filet. We often have salads, with one of the small plates and a side. It's the perfect size, when we want a smaller dinner. But another visit will include the steak, and the seafood entrees as well. The salads are crisp and fresh, and the seafoods and steaks are cooked perfectly. Book ahead in season, the restaurant is not huge. It is cozy and dark, with a small, but busy bar area. Great service, friendly staff and consistent."

  • "Our food was perfect, the steaks were cooked exactly the way we asked and the seasoning was just right. We had the asparagus and the mac and cheese as sides and each was delicious and just the right size. The only hitch in the affair was that our waiter was pretty much working the entire dining area and bringing food upstairs for room service orders so he was extremely busy. We recognized this as soon as we sat down and feared service would be very slow; we never had to wait too long for anything considering but others may have felt things were a little slow."

  • "The setting of the restaurant is in the basement so no windows to see outside. The dark wood gives the impression of a men's club or steak restaurant. The food is average, with the food presented (steak, halibut) prepared satisfactorily. The halibut was overlaid with a crushed nut preparation, which took away from the Alaskan halibut. The beets in the beet salad were not good, sorry. You can bring wine, if you would like. "

  • "My husband and I were enjoying our first trip to Jackson. We were staying at the White Buffalo (the rooms are also fantastic), and decided to try out the steakhouse. I'm admittedly a bit skeptical when it comes to hotel restaurants, but we were both blown away by the quality And flavor of their food. I had a filet, while my husband had a ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly and the salted herb butter on top gave the meat a delicious uniqueness. The ambience is nice, as well, and even though it's downstairs, the dim lighting made it quite romantic. "

  • "The WBC has been a favorite of ours for several years. They have the best steaks in Jackson but also a good selection of other entrees and sides. The wine list is also very good. But, we really like the Executive Chef and wait staff. They are friendly and always available to visit making you feel right at home."

  • "What a wonderful surprise and experience to dine at the White Buffalo! The menu selection is outstanding for any person's taste and the presentation is great. Enjoyed a Fillet that melted in your mouth...super delicious! Atmosphere like being in a major market classy restaurant. Will definitely be returning! Already spread the word on FB!"

  • "By far the best dining experience on this trip to Jackson. Food and service was absolutely fabulous. Will, the chef was on his A game. Create a unique surf and turf from the Remington and Scallops apps, fabulous."

  • "We make it a point to go to the White Buffalo Club on special occasions and with friends. Definitely the best steak in town. The people are friendly and the service is great."

  • "The food and the service at the White Bufallo were outstanding! My wife had the grilled scallops and I had the fillet. Both were cooked to perfection. The fillet was the best that I have ever had. The sides were excellent as well. The food and the service were well worth the price. I highly recommend this restraurant for a romantic or special dinner."

  • "First they seated us back in a corner that was cramped and drafty-we asked to be moved. We were seated on the other side of the room again in a very tight corner seat. It was a little confining. Our waitress was a young woman, did not elaborate on the menu or drinks-she seemed not overly interested, she took a drink order and served it, then took an appetizer order, instead of putting in one order for both. So we were mostly through our drink by the time the appetizer arrived. I ordered a salad and entrée, she served both at the same time, disappointingly-I would have preferred the salad first before the main dish. Expensive dinner & the food was not outstanding. Local here in Jackson does better food/ service for half the price."

  • "Definitely on the higher end of the price spectrum but very good quality."

  • "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at White Buffalo. The filet and the rib-eye were flavorful and tender- cooked to our specifications. The club is a small restaurant, so be sure to make reservations. You will not be disappointed."

  • "Steak was done to perfection and was served on a sizzling hot platter which warmed sidesas well. Big sides and great quality. Atmosphere was good, place is small so conversation was easy. Hot bignets for dessert were nice, one or two are plenty and a nice end to big meal."

  • "What a wonderful surprise to find a quiet place with terrific food in JH, The steaks were perfect and the scallops appetizer was excellent too."

  • "I was really disappointed in The White Buffalo Club Restaurant. The food was only ok, overall. (Lobster and scallops delicious, everything else really subpar.) The service was bad (our waiter was really loud). Definitely not what I'd expect for $95 a person."
    Dined on 9/19/2013
  • "We went to try the Buffalo after the good reviews and it was fantastic but the soup was even better. We have ordered 100's of soups but this was one of the best ever. Loaded with mushrooms, fresh corn and roasted yellow pepper. It was fresh, rich and had just the right touch of heat. It was so good we ordered a quart to go. We were told by the waiter that chief Will is famous for his soups and I can see why. The brussels sprouts were also fantastic."

  • "Wonderful Steak, the very best I have had! We do a lot of traveling over the US and International. The Filet was unforgetable! Also, I husband enjoyed the Soup!"

  • "I've eaten here a few times now and every meal has been outstanding. There steaks are some of the best I've had anywhere, especially in Jackson. The restaurant is very small, but it's quiet. I would definitely recommend eating here if you are craving beef and are in Jackson, WY."

  • "My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at the White Buffalo and would go back again. Sides to our bison ribeye were delicious. The steak was very flavorful although a little tough and sinewy in spots. I might stick to regular steak or filet next time. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the quiet music and ambiance of the bar. The Boursin whipped potatoes were great!"

  • "our friends recommended this restaurant as they were staying in the hotel that houses it. the buffalo was the best we've tasted, and the petite filet was likewise wonderful! sides were ample and delicious too, especially the brussel sprouts [my husband is a convert] and we really loved dining here. can't wait to return to wyoming to eat here again ;-)"

  • "Yes the food is outstanding. The chef knows what he is doing and seems to care about what diners think. The ambience is nutty. What is billed as fine dining experience is like eating in a tavern. When we arrived loud rock music was playing-had to ask twice to get it turned down. The waitresses had loud voices, seemed impatient and had little idea about service. When I asked to see the "by the glass" wine list, one said she could tell me and spent five minutes convincing me to try a certain wine. Ten minutes later she came back to tell me they were out of that wine. Really? BTW these are not the usual Jackson Hole summer college waitresses so more is expected."

  • "We stumbled upon this hidden gem. The atmosphere was quiet, intimate and relaxed. We were greated by warm smiles from the entire staff. Our appetizer choices of seared scallops and beef tartare were phenominal paired with a couple glasses of chablis. I had the pear and brie salad while my wife had the golden beet both light and beautifully presented. Thier lead server helped pick out an excellent bottle of wine to be paired with our steaks, the '05 spring mountain elivette. I had a pittsburgh bone-in NY strip oscar style with a lobster tail and my wife had a filet. Both came out on a sizzling plate and the whippex potatoes and griled asparagus were a perfect complement. The cheesecake and port capped off an amazing evening to be remembered."

  • "This restaurant is hidden away in a backstreet of Jackson but internally has the elegance of a fine New York restaurant. It is dark, quiet and romantic. The staff was very friendly and responsive. We had two visits from the chef who is also the manager of the place. He is clearly dedicated to his art. The stuffed date appetizer was enough for two. The12 oz buffalo bone in strip was very tender and flavorful. The wedge is amazing. Order it if you like this type of salad. My wife had the Remington appetizer which contained sufficient sliced tenderloin for her entree. She was well pleased with the flavor and texture. The bill was quite reasonable for the quality of the meal and a bottle of wine. We look forward to a return visit."

  • "We had a great dining experience at the white buffalo club. Well made cocktails and professional wine service. Delicious soup and scallops. The ribeye was by far the best I've ever tasted. Nice cozy atmosphere with a very cool bar area. Highly recommended and from the looks of it the locals love it. We were told by multiple shop owners around town to dine at the WBC, especially for steaks."
