Our recent visit for my wife's birthday was a special evening, made all the more so by the $20 coupon sent just for the occasion. We started with our favorite appetizer, the bacon-wrapped scallops, and selected two of the specials for our entrees: Filet mignon with crab meat and bernaise sauce, and crab stuffed snapper with a tabasco beurre blanc (sp?). All were fantastic. The complimentary dessert with a birthday candle was a nice touch. I had the stuffed flounder and my wife had the Norfolk fillet. Both were outstanding. For desert we shared a slice of bourbon pecan pie. They sat us in the large upstairs dining room. Not a single person in our group was unhappy with the food or the service, everyone raved about it, in fact. I had the she-crab soup which was absolutely delicious. I am sensitive to noise and over-crowding in many busy restaurants but this was not a problem, even though the room did fill up as the evening wore on. Everyone at the tables' favorite was the seafood lobster pasta, followed by the lobster mashed potatoes.
I brought my in-laws here and they are very picky mid-western eaters and they truly gobbled every last bite.
The waiter was attentive, even though he was very busy. He even managed to surprise my father-in-law with a birthday cheesecake.
I didn't get a chance to let him know in advance and he really pulled it off. I turned to my husband and say, "I think I found my male counter(part) server", for I too am a waitress in Old Town.
He was quick with jokes and always had our water glasses refilled.

We were seated in a charming bar area almost immediately upon our arrival. The menu was 90%+ seafood, which was just what we were looking for. My husband was happy because they served many traditionally prepared dishes (versus eclectic) in combinations that sounded good. I wasn't terribly hungry, so I had a yummy Caesar salad and the bacon wrapped scallops in a pan Asian sauce- these were excellent! Fresh scallops with crispy bacon- it doesn't get much better than that.
My husband had a wedge salad he liked and a seafood platter with a crab cake, broiled scallops and one other item that slips my mind. He liked it very well.
