Very attentive server and great location. My fish wasn't as moist as I've had elsewhere but I liked the cilantro mayonaise. Beet salad compared poorly to one I'd had recently in Las Vegas at one of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants. My husbanded enjoy his choppino. Valet parking for one hour seemed high ($10 plus tip)

Enjoyed our fish while watching sea lion in the bay consume same. Our server never told us his name (maybe it was on the check), but although he was new and a bit tentative, he was very good at taking care of us.

This was one of the most horrible dining experiences ever. The table was not ready on time, the brunch and lunch menus were limited and way overpriced, the service was terrible (one entree arrived after the others had finished theirs and the restaurant should have comped it, at least), the bill was tallied incorrectly. The staff is very poorly trained. Mediocre food, terrible service and overpriced, limited menu all add up to a forgettable dining experience.

We went for Mother's Day brunch/lunch they started serving at 11:30 am. The food was good, five out of our six were pleased. My husband ordered Filet Mignon Hash which was really steak fajitas which was strange. Our server was George and he was generally good when we had his attention but he often was hard to find when we needed something. They wouldn't take any exceptions to the menu at all we had one person that asked if they would scramble their eggs instead of poached and they refused. We sat on the patio which has a nice view of the bay but they need to WD40 their door near the bar it squeaks so loud it sounds like a boat horn.

A perfect venue for my parents wedding anniversary dinner. They were here on holiday and unfortunately mymother broke her ankle just a few days before getting off a trolley bus! On the nigh in question taxi service was it's usual poor standard in San Francisco and it took us 45 minutes to get a taxi, despite booking one 2 hours before. The staff were extremely helpful and understanding when we arrived 20 minutes late and also were extremely helpful with the table selction and assitance for my mother on crutches. Well done, food was superb and atmosphere perfect. Thanks. Neil

Poor service on 4/27 out in the tent for lunch. It was too hot--need more ventilation. Lots of bread/water servers, only 1 actual waiter. Appetizer was brought out AFTER main courses, which were evidently put under a heat lamp to keep warm. Scallop/prawn dish was not worth $25--2 scallops and 3 prawns and VERY greasy. Corona beers were served without a lime. Bread plates were abruptly removed before main courses arrived. Overall, a memorably bad experience.

Go for the scenery. The lights of the Bay Bridge reflecting on the water quite dramatic. Would describe the food as "business dinner fare." Tasty and enjoyable but not such that I would celebrate a special occassion. Very friendly and accommodating hostess. Primary server was fine but support staff a bit lacking. Water glass not re-filled nor was additional bread offered.

Atmosphere was lovely; the view of the Bay is unsurpassed in waterfront restaurants. We sat facing Treasure Island and the Bay Bridge and watched the sunset change their colors. The service was efficient, but not intrusive; very friendly as well. The food was good; the menu wouldn't impress a big-time foodie, but it's the kind of stuff we like. Only sour notes: (1) my swordfish was slightly overcooked, (2) the mashed potatoes had good flavor, but had been whipped too long, making the texture gluey, and (3) the lemon sorbet was too intense. None of these were killers, just a little off.

It is hard to put my finger on it but the food is just ok, by SF standards, it should be much more sigificant for the location with such great views. The service is very good, the food portions good, but I just get the feel they are trying to be something more and missing it somehow..

Ridiculouly overpriced and astonishingly miniature portions.......My salad cost $10.00 had exactly three pieces of lettuce in it and nothing else, you do the math! I would never return and I recommend that unless you want to feel ripped off that you stay away as well......they kept serving bread all night... obviously they too know that the food is scarce so they are generous with bread. It seemed like a comedy routine they came with bread throughout the night non stop, even as they brought the desert menu......(I was on a diet and chose this restaurant to have a healthy salad and fresh grilled fish and althought the fish was good it didn't even come with any vegetables!I had to eat tons of bread just to feel somewhat full! Nothing can beat the panoramic, and dramatic view of the Bay and the Bay Bridge. The food came efficiently and with appropriate timing. The seafood was fresh, and prepared with high quality. Waiter was friendly, but hovered a bit too much, for his agenda. Overall, the staff, including Bar service, hostess, and general table service, were efficient and everyone was very friendly. It is surprising how empty the restaurant was, on a Friday night, considering the food, and service overall were very good. Other than a little harder to get to, with Friday night traffic, and limitation on available parking, with exception of $12 Valet Parking, it is a great dining spot and receives an enthusiastic recommendation from all around the table.

We loved the food except for the ahi Tuna, it could have used more seasoning of some sort and the cilantro aoli sauce was watery. The calamari was the best I have eaten. The side order of asparagus was not brought with the food and I was half way through the ahi before it came. I will definitely come again and bring friends. I felt for the price of lunch I would have liked to say, memorable. Thank you for a great table and the service was great! Mary Marincik

I've been coming to this place for years, the first time was for my Junior Prom. My wife and I came here for our anniversary. The appetizers - especially the calamari friti - was to die for, fried tender with sumptuous aioli and finger stringbeans, tempura style. The lobster risotto with lemon was just okay, as were the prawns. The ambience and the view of the San Francisco Bay makes it a wonderful special occasion destination.
