Public Transit: The Warming Hut Restaurant is located 300 feet from the gondola and the Breckenridge Transit Station where guests can catch a Summit Stage Bus or the local Free Ride Bus. The Free Ride Bus also stops on Main Street in front of the Wellington Lot, which is about 100 feet South of our building.

Parking Details: Our guest may use the street parking on Main Street and the small parking lot behind our restaurant.

Welcome to "The Warming Hut Restaurant" where our aim and pleasure is to serve you local, seasonal Colorado comfort food in a warm and cozy atmosphere. We strive to source, whenever possible, all the best Colorado produce, poultry, bison, beef, lamb, dairy, other farm specialties, micro-brews, wine… and liquor. Our quaint mountain town of Breckenridge, along with our gorgeous State of Colorado, has so much to offer and we want nothing more than to share that with our local community and visitors alike.Continued

"Visited this newly opened restaurant based on good reviews in the local paper in Summit County. Loved the look of the restaurant and we had a couple excellent reasonably priced wines. Service was friendly, but wished I hadn't taken their personal recommendation of the meatloaf dinner - I make a lot better one. Shepard's pie was just OK. Of all the meals we ordered the special of the day, pasta with prosciutto and salmon was the only remarkable dish."

"Amazing ingredients. Every thing we had tasted like it was fresh from a local farm. There were fresh bouquets of flowers on everytable as well. It was a really nice touch. Can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!"

"Adorable and cozy atmosphere and a menu to fit! The banoffee dessert was decadent and the sweet potato biscuits divine! Nice touch for serving bread with an innovative and delicious twist.
This is a gem of a place. You certainly get the sense of home or grandma's house by the comfort food menu options and inviting warm interior. It was hard to decide on an entree. We certainly plan to return."

"Wanted to try out this new restaurant. Cocktails were superb. The port salut cheese fondue was excellent. I had the buffalo shortribs. They were tasty, but could have been braised a bit longer, as they still contained quite a bit of fat and collagen that had not broken down and were not quite "fall off the bone" tender. My partner had the salmon. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very friendly and energetic waitress. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in Breck."

"This is a new restaurant that we just loved! Food was terrific and the Monte De Oro wine was excellent. My wife told me she could have ordered twenty things on the menu. It was a cool ding experience."

"This is a new restaurant with some teething troubles as they get started. Their wine list is interesting but they were out of stock of the first 6 wines we selected! the owner was very apologetic and made a more than appropriate gesture to compensate for the difficulties.
food is good with some interesting variations on the menu, everyone in our party of 6 was pleased with their choices. Portions are a good size without being overwhelming.
service was a bit mixed, again the learning curve was in evidence at our table, and the barman was less than welcoming at first.
We will try this place again to see how it matures but for now it's not top of our list."
